ForceCurepoison/disease are so useless now for a 100 damage poison I need to cure myself 3-4 times...there are many people using 400-500 power poison. We will die before we could fix ourself.

I just wish that when you unlock your second slot you could choose one or the other to become the Jedi. I think I'm rare, but I do know of others, that may have a proffession they really enjoy (CH for me, I really like my pets), and don't want to give it up.
However, doing the quests to become force sensative, unlock your slot and then do it AGAIN with your new character seems a bit silly. If it's about fun why are we forced to give up what we've been having fun with for months or spend months and months building up a new character so it can even complete the new quests, which, as I understand will take a while anyway.
Why not just give us the choice of having our original character be force sensative or the new one, instead of both with one having to do it all again...

Odin, you could nothave stated it more succinctly or clearer. I am on the edge of mastering professions 22 and 23. I will most likely unlock between publish 9 and publish 10. Honestly I have tried to read all of these postings but Iquickly grew bored and frustrated withthe massive amounts of juvenile whiningfrom both sides. There were many good posts with very in depth and knowledgeable suggestions as well. But it is tiresome to try and ferret those out. It will happen as it happens. No amount of complaining will change this. My only question is for someone to clarify one point. If I unlock between publish 9 and publish 10 will the character who unlocks be the FS character or will it unlock a "new" FS character slot as in the past? I really tried to wade through this quagmire of *radio edit* to find my answer but couldn't stomach it any more. If anyone can direct me to the appropriate post I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Goo.

Jedi vs Melee still must be fixed, its just wrong how they own us, i dont want jedi be untouchable by melee, but we definetly need some more protection against them and also against high level MOBs.
Otherwise jedi is a joke right now, compared to a master brawler/Swordsman.

Well, I've recently encountered 3 jedi since publish 9 came out. Three jedi in 30 minutes. I think that they are cool and all, but I think there are too many. The Jedi should be a very selective group. Perhaps publish 9 will help, but so far it's not. I don't pay 15 bucks a month to play an MMORPG of Jedi Outcast.I don't know exactly how the Bounty Hunter Missions against Jedi work, but I think that the missions need to be available to let entire groups hunt them. My guild friends and I are trying to establish a guild that hunts Jedi and Rebels, but we are unable to get started unless we just run around trying to duel Jedi who don't want to have anything to do with us. Please make it easier for the Empire to hunt down the Jedi.
Population Control.
That's all I ask for.

I'm kind of split about the "abundance" of Jedi. I like the idea of teh Jedi being rather resreved, not so much "secret." As it is we have Jedi running all around with sabres out (not active, just out) and Jedi titles. Jedi, in my opinion, are not meant to be running around with their sabres out going "Hey, I'm a Jedi!". The way I see it Jedi should not deny that they are Jedi, or "hide", but shouldn't be calling attention to it.
That however, goes against everything powergamers are all about. I do know some Jedi who are, what I would consider, what Jedi should be. They don't call attention to themeselves, make efforts to blend in, but aren't exaclty "hiding" as tehy aren't afraid to get out teh sabre if need be.
I think, for some, seeing all the Jedi running around is disheartning, for others it kind of ruins the "mystery" or...I'm not sure of the word. Just the "coolness" of Jedi seems to be dwindling as more and more people become Jedi.
When it comes down to it, weh ave here 13 pages of arguing, some good, some bad--We also have months of past arguing and so on and eventually it comes down to 2 or 3 guys sitting in an office, suffering from lack of sleep, stress, and probably feeling a small sense of self-loathing as they try to rationalize all the whining and bitching. Those 2 or 3 guys make teh decision, and really no matter what we say will force a change in that.

Well, don't count on killing many Light jedi, until publish 10. Some of the rebels didn't get a chance to finish before before pub 9 came out on our server. And there's a major shortage in light jedi (the few light jedi that are there don't show in public much),so you'll really just be hunting Dark jedi because they are everywhere and they show themselves alot.

The whole Jedi Profession should be scrapped:
1) Jedi are not supposed to exist in the current Star Wars time period in SWG. It seems odd to see Jedi running around, in the open, when there are not even supposed to be any (Whose left to train them???). What would make more sense, and possibly be more interesting, isit not to have any player Jedi and instead allow players to be "force sensitive" and gain limited force skills via quests or other means.
2) Someone said that the Jedi are tough. They are down right invincible or at least pretty close to it. That part is what I would expect but the game balance is only going to get worse.
3) What Jedi are left should be NPCs for quests and etc.
For the current player Jedi why not have Darth Vader hunt them down and then compensate the playerssomehow for suffering through that profession grind.
Comments, flames and etc?
Thanks,
Fej

Even though Jedi arnt suposeto exist right now doesn't mean they can't. First of all all the jedi that died may have kids that means they are most likely FS. If they are Luke sure would sense it and would find them and train them. So you see the jedi that are in SWG have a good plot to get here if you think really hard.

Greetings Devs and Others,
I am a master ranger on corbantis server, I am also a dabbler in the BH tree, (LLC rocks) and everywhere i go i have Jedi asking me to help them find this creature or that creature and offering obscene ammounts of money, I had a guy (wont mention names) offer me 3 million creds to help him find a graul marauder, now you may think me ill in the head or even just plain stupid but i declined him...Why?... because i believe the trials and quests should be 100% instanced, no outside interferance what so ever, and i agree with whoever posted it that if your going to make the trials require the finding and destruction of such a rare beast, then you should probly add in something like a Multy Planet BH mission... (NPC### says: So you seek a Graul marauder, well you wont find it here on Dantooine if thats what you thought, nope just last cycle we had a science team here and they captured the babies and destroyed the adults and took em to.... hmmm well i'll be damned i cant remember where... I think i stored the information in my R-2 unit but he is busted, i need a new motivator and a battery to get him working again, maybe you can get me some and bring em back...??? ((upon attaining a motivator and battery and returning to the NPC)) Well I'll be a son of a rancor, you came back, and you brought the stuff to fix my droid, well thank you, "beep beep blurp blurp" R-2 here says that the science team was from Naboo you may wanna start lookin there, maybe ol' Rusty in Lake Retreat knows where them scientists are...)
heh something like that would be good, leading to an instanced cave or dungeon or something with a graul marauder inside....
Personaly I am a soloer primarily because i dont have the hours it takes at times to put together a good group and then decide where to hunt, and i am sick of the Oxy-Moronic "Solo-Groups" everwhere, thats just a way to use your 80%+ kinetic armor to get 4 or 5 times the ammount of creds per mission, throw in sclicing 1 and its even more..
The economy of the game is thrashed no objections about it, on Corbantis there is a shop near coronet where some guy is selling aakuan items for a million + creds, but right next door a master armorsmith is TRYING to sell some good armors not just 80% kinetic Composite for decent prices and he doesnt sell a thing...
The game needs a more stable economy, more stable mission base, more stable quest base, and more combat balancing then just nerfing and adding a few things to this class and that class, you say TKM is the only viable match for a Jedi in melee combat, this may be true but then why have a seen jedi getting slaughtered by a rancor when a TKM can solo a herd of Rancors? if you ask me the JEdi is way too under powered, and it would be easier to fix 1 class than it would to fix 10 ther combat classes...
but by making more "instanced" quests and dungeons i think it will increase the Fun factor, increase the overall enjoyment, decrease the Solo-Group mentality, and start to set the game on a right path, if someone wants to solo through the entire game i think they should have the same opuurtunities as an "Uber" guild doing krayt hunts...
I know i ranted and raved and slipped off topic a bit but i think i covered some very viable and valuable points that need to be looked at... I am in no way uber, i am a wookiee ranger, with some BH skills, i am not a master in any elite combat class, and i in no way have 80% kinetic resistance armor... heh 50% if i am lucky....

They never said he was the ONLY one.... heh the story was about his trials and tribulations... remmebr episode 2 when obi-wan goes to see yoda about his "missing system" and that room had 20 or more Jedi children in it... well those kids had to grow up sometime even if they moved to a rotted old nowhere backwash planet and stopped training... then you have the books after the movies... the Jedi Academy trilogy, Luke finds a bunch of force sensitive people... from all over the galaxies... so he isnt the ONLY one left at the end of RoTJ he is juist the only one we hear about...

My position from a previous post in this thread is: "The Jedi should be removed from SWG."
Well according to the Lucas version of Star Wars, at least up until Luke and Anakin, Jedi's were not supposed to get marrried (and I assume have children). So it's unlikely that there are many force sensitive Jedi offspring running around. But for discussion's sakelet's assume that there are lots of force sensitive folks running around SWG.
I believe the current time period in SWG is sometime between "A New Hope" and "The Empire Strikes Back." Luke is not a Jedi and thus is unlikely to be able to train anyone to be a Jedi. He might though be able to train force sensitive people a few tricks as might a few other NPC Jedi.
It simple does not "feel right" to have quite a few Jedi running around, in the open, in SWG (I saw at least 5-7 in the span of 30 minuntes on Bria and that was only in one city.). It takes something from the game instead of adding to it. It simply detracts from the Star Wars world as Lucas created it. If SWG took place before "A New Hope" or after "Return of the Jedi" it would be much more believable to see Jedi running around.
It would be much more interesting and true to the current Star Wars timeline/storynot to have a Jedi playerclass in SWGbut, instead,to allow players to earn (somehow) limited force skills that they could use.
Thanks,
Fej
