Negative.

Repeat after me, "THIS IS AN ENTERTAINMENT SERVICE".

If I sliced and diced ye into many parts in the game and ye get upset and call me an Exploited, that be when, "Calm down, its just a game" comes into play.

People are payin' money fer a product in, which they feel its not bein' managed properly. If payin' money does not provide sufficient entertainment value, should they have a right to provide feedback or complaints? Or should it be, just look at the colorful flowers, if ye have a problem, shut-up and stop payin'?

Who are ye goin' to lay blame to when the population of customers are low? The customers that left or the management that made them decide to leave?

Holy crap, people. Get a grip!

1) I'm willing to bet 90% of you who decided NOT to participate in the holo-grind, did so with the intention of waiting until the path to FS was quest based. You have your wish, go about fulfilling your chosen path. Don't complain that you don't get any sort of reward because you didn't participate in the path they are rewarding.

2) As stated.. 8 professions were required in the last stretch of the holo-grind. That means up to 4 are told to you by a Holocron, the other 4 you had to guess. Those who didn't use a holocron could have potentially mastered some of the 8 professions you need, and therefore MAY get rewarded for doing so EVEN THOUGH you didn't "participate" in the holo-grind.

3) If you are not glowing, then you would have to work towards doing so ANYWAY.. stop complaining about having to wait. This is the NATURAL progression of the village. Say you are barely sensitive, it could take you a two weeks to make it to glowing (casual play). Do you have a right to complain about having to waist those two weeks? No, because that's the way this system works. Those in the lower levels of force sensitivity WOULD HAVE TO WAIT, REGUARDLESS. Use this time wisely. Who knows, a large portion of the people in the first two waves only need one branch, so they go unlock their 5, run their one quest, and leave the village to do the conversion XP. This could take as little as 24 to do. The DEVs could use that as the signal to bump up the next group.

Relax, breathe, walk away from the computer for an hour, come back, and start doing what you have to do in order to progress. There are WAY to many factors involved here to get all worked up over when the patch is barely a few hours old.

all this system does is **edit** over those of us that liked our templates and decided to NOT butcher our characters with professions we had no interest in. as it stands right now: the group thats in now will be done soon then group 1 comes in. Group 1 will do a quest, wait 3 weeks and do the quest for their other missing branch then group 2 comes in. Group 2 will do a quest, wait 3 weeks, complete a quest, wait 3 weeks and do their final quest then group 3 comes in. Group 3 does a quest, waits 3 weeks, does a quest, waits 3 weeks, does a quest, waits 3 more weeks and does their last quest then group 4 comes in. Group 4 will doa quest, wait 3 weeks, do a quest, wait 3 weeks, do a quest, wait 3 weeks, do a quest, wait 3 more weeks and do their final quest before im assuming the rest get in. assuming its still every 3 weeks thats 30 weeks people like me will have to wait before we get the old man. im all for credit where credit is due but this is just plain purebred 100% grade a bull**edit**. i was prepared to wait the 4.5 months once i get in but im not waiting over 7.5 months just to get to the village.

OK so lets get a few answered out front and center here shall we?

Did the DEV's ever announce they were raising the professions required to get Jedi? I do not recall a posting about this from DEV's or players but I could have still missed this so want an answer.

If the professioned required was raised by a shadow nerf (AKA screw the players over nerf) why wasn't holocrons reinstalled to working order tomake it easier to find these professions like those who only had to do 5 had?

So those who did powergrinding of the exetreme nature are the only ones who truely are benefitting here?

As stated by the DEV's the profession count was raised to make it harder for more people to become Jedi(BUT they have 2 revamps FOCUSED on becoming Jedi!!!!) This makes no sense in any form. You want people to become Jedi but you make it harder for them to become Jedi because you feel there are too many??? Personal comment: the police need to raid your offices to see what the heck you idiots are smoking there because your all FUBAR'ed up there!!!

So those who were grinding professions but stopped because were bored or because you said months ago you were changing the way it's done are actually worse off now then they were before? The hardest hit are those who are casual players that may have only gotten, say 10 professions mastered but had gotten 4 of the 5 orginally told to us as all they needed to get. With more professions having togrind the casual players were hit harder and harder each time this was raised. How can the game be balanced as the DEV's say it is for the power gamers and the casual gamers when such choices by the DEV's continue to make it worse for the casual players?

How many professions did the final tally end up at? I personally don't recall anyone mastering under 29 professions for quite some time.

With there having been very little combat balancing or GCW fixes since launch the games focus has clearly become about Jedi. How can the DEV's actions be seen as acceptable in their own eyes let alone the players by these terrible changes?

How can you DEV's say ok we will allow these people to get Jedi easier but oh we going to make it harder after so many people then harder again and still harder again???

How can you state certain people deserve Jedi easier then the next when each players money is equal to anothers?

Are you DEV's hiding behind the paperwork of the TOS/ROC EULA that says you have the right at any time to change the rules of game play to answer why these actions were taken to penalize certain players rather then others?

Personal Comment: This is another fine publish brought to us the players and payers by SWG's DEV team. Once again they have shown serious tunnel vision issues and near sightedness that has only hurt this game every single publish to date do to serious mismanagement on their part.

I support server merging of some sort for the betterment and longevity of the game and it's player community!

That post is probably the biggest crock I have ever heard someone spew. Those in the first two groups should have had the old man waiting on them to login. When they did he should have said what the hell took you so long. To make people wait and so they can just wait some more is wrong. Hey congrats you unlocked but ummm you have to wait till publish 10 to play your Jedi. Ummm hey publish 10 is here but you may have to wait a day or so. What's the next excuse going to be? And where on that chart do people who already unlocked Jedi but have glowing mains fall under?

OK TO START WITH I LIKE MANY OTHERS FEEL CHEATED AND USED, U RAISE THE NUMBER OF PROFESSIONS FROM 5 TO 8 WITHOUT TELLING NEONE THATS JUST LOW, TO START WITH WHEN DID THIS ACTUALLY HAPPEN HOW LONG HAVE U BEEN LYING TTO US , SECONDLY U SAY PEOPLE WILL BE REWARDED FOR ATTEMPTING TO UNLOCK WITH THE OLD SYSTEM ...ABSOLUTE BOLLOX SOMEONE COULD HAVE USED 2 HOLOS THEN DECIDED TO JUST DO PROFESSIONS INSTEAD OF WASTING MONEY/TIME TO TRY AND FIND A HOLO AND THEN FIND IN THE NEW SYSTEM THEY GOT NO CREDIT WHAT SO EVER ! THIRDLY THE FACT UR PUTTING A LIMIT ON HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE DOING QUESTS AT A TIME SHOWS U R ONLY IN THIS FOR THE MONEY AND DONT CARE WHAT TYPE OF GAMING EXPERIENCE U PROVIDE, THIS BASED ON THE FACT UR GATING PEOPLE TO STOP LAG CAUSE U CANT BE ARSED TO BUY DECENT SERVERS EVEN THOUGH UR RICH MOTHER **edit**ERS ! WE PAY TO PLAY USE SOME OF THE MONEY WE PAY U TO IMPROVE THE GAME U MORONS ! U CAN GUARENTEE UD MAKE MORE MONEY CAUSE UR GONNA LOOSE A HELL OF A LOT OF PEOPLE OVER THIS NEW PUBLISH, I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS PUBLISH UNTILL I FOUND OUT THE TRUTH BEHIND IT U AHVE MEARLY LIED TO US AND PROMISED US THINGS AND NEVER DELIVERED SO TO KEEP PEOPLE PLAYING AND U MAKING MONEY I WILL BE THINKING VERY SERIOUSLY AS TO WETHER TO CONTINUE WASTING MY MONEY IF THIS IS THE SERVICE U PROVIDE

I unlocked just after pub9, have done 29 proff. got over 100 badges, glowing.Shouldn't i automaticly get a visit from the old man? At least i think so, but i haven't seen him since the server was up. When i unlocked the message said, u will be able to play your jedi when pub10 comes. Well that is very misleading i say...

You know there'd be a real easy and simple solution for this.

That they should have considered and done from the very start, make the village instanced, like the corvette. It wouldn't be that difficult, make it to where once you step into the fog you (and your group )get teleported into the village, but make the fog act as a wall so that the only way out is through having the elder teleport you out. This would allow for an outdoors instanced area, clear up almost all the traffic and reduce the grief of phase 4 combat quest. There is no reason at all that I can think of that would hinder this idea.

HELLO SHOULD I ASK IT LOUDER SO YOU DON'T IGNORE IT THIS TIME TH ...

THIS MOST DEFINITLY REQUIRES CLARIFICATION

1 remaining as in I was on my silent so that leaves 1 according to your system.
Or Since i had multiple unknowns, it is unknown as to weather I have 1 remaining.

I HOPE YOU ARE GOING TO GET A LITTLE MORE SPACIFIC....

Dude, **edit**, k? You don't know what some of us veterans went through...Grinding wasn't as easy back then...the 11 professions I grinded back in november were equal in hardness to grinding 25 professions now.

Thank you for efffectively ruining my only reason for playing the last 2 months. I did 4 Holo Prof and 10 more on top of that and stopped grinding towait for this patch. After reading what you just wrote, there is a good chance that A. I wont be let in till Group 3 can go and B. I will get JACK **edit** for credit...

So again yo will do the worst thing!

The ones who made the game the sick with theyr hologrind and afk macros will get free unlocks, free branches and priority on the access on the village, while the ones that played the game and will need months to get the required xp to train the fs skills will have to wait months to start the path to jedi?

Thanks for your wise choices!
