Removing permadeath is bad making jedis out of their legend role. Now their are invulnerable and won't fear anymore to got out and show off.
The jedis quests is a good thing.

I fear a great influx of jedi's. At the moment they try to remain hidden and live their life in secrecy with the proposed changes I fear this will come to an end and we will see a whole lot more open displays of jedi. Some will think thats good, some won't care and some like me will feel that this isn't right considdering the timeline were playing in.
remove the holo grind = good
wow i gotta sayi like it, i was just trying to figure whether or not i should go after master dancer as my first holo said, now i think ill wait till i hear more
id rather do extra quests then grind something i dont wanna do
as for ppl who are on there silent holo, im sure they will make it so that you will have to do alot less then someone like me who hasnt completed one holo mission
i have a feeling holocrons will be used as part of the quest
i hope to get a jedi character one day, but its not gonna take over my life
One question.
Will Jedi still have difficulties in place as an attempt to keep them rare, or is this revamp being put in place to make Jedi more common?
What are your intentions?...
My fear is that the Quest path will require large numbers of player helpers, like EQ Epics.
Becoming Jedi has to be hard, difficult things in an MMORPG are typically group based, ergo becoming Jedi requires large groups.
I sincerely hope that this does not happen and that the path can be taken by solo players, or small groups.
This is close to the last straw for me. If I understand this correctly, you are going to fix the Jedi profession before you fix the Bounty Hunters (myself included). So, we will have Jedi Masters within a week of this patch, and zero chance of finding or killing them.

How can you all be happy about this?! OMG this is such a bad idea. First off IMHO SOE screwed up by allowing jedi even in game (think of time period) Secondly think about this: Making quests to become jedi by say a random spawned npc means there will be insain EQ style camping. Thats such a horible way to go about getting jedi and is even worse than hologrinding (which also sucks royaly) Now i dont want to be a jedi and never did want to be. But think of this without the ability to have their jedi permadie then there will be millions of them. its a horible idea. Please dont do this or it will ruin the gameplay, and the great atmosphere of the game. i beg no. and if you must then put a cap of like 20 jedi per server or something...just dont let them run rampant!
