there will be no difficulty in doing that - she just needs buffs, a decent composite armor and a pre-nerfnym carabine (the one that doesn't require certification)
with my artisan/ws/merchant i did all the required POI and the jabba themepark easily
now i agree that there will be a serious problem with the exit quest... but that seems to be a concern for the distant future by the way things go now with the old man visits and all "
Ok, lets see, Nym pre-nerf carbine is HOW many credits from another player? Thats point one. Second, you didnt ask which race she her toon and mine is. (Wookie by the way, which means at best Hunting armor). And Third, she shouldnt need to run around looking for a Doc to buff her or any of that stupid nonsense in order to do combat related POIs. If this was truely going to be an RPG, it should be Class related quests. As it is, even if she did have what ever badges are needed, She would still be looking at a minimum of 6 months for FS if she wanted it, based on the fact that you can only take 1 quest per phase of the village and assumeing that each phase lasts 1 month. Secondly, SOE stated in a previous post, that only CERTAIN TYPES of quests would be available during each phase. Assumeing that crafting quests for he class are in phase 3 and 4, that means AT LEAST 1 year for her to get FS if she wanted too. With this already in place, there is no reason for badges in my opinion, hence the reason for my consideration of account canceling.
But thanks for your input Orew, its at least knowledge for others, includeing myself who see the badges as a problam for other class type set ups.
I ran 8K on foot on Naboo, shuttled from every player city to other player cities, did rebel missions, did regular missions (Solo and grouped), went to POI's on Tat/Talus/Naboo/Dant, logged in and out...
I finally decided to check the forums... I never did holo grinding.. I never did my first holo, still to this day I didn't do it. I've only mastered 8 professions since Last Novemeber when I bought SWG.
So since I never holo-grinded because I liked my professions, I have to wait till phase 5 or 6 or something cause I didn't master everything and actually played the game??
I'm very frustrated right now, and like everyone else I've logged out and am seriously rethinking my time with SWG. I've had alot of fun with SWG, but forcing people to wait even longer because they actaully played the game it was ment to be played is saddening.
It's a dark day in SWG.

This whole thing is a slap in the face to everyone who isn't a grinding machine. To anyone who didn't just play the game. To anyone who may have only done a holo or two.

Grin, I 100% agree...back when we did holocrons, it was a total of 5 professions. I spent over a month grinding the 3 holocron professions. ...NOT TO MENTION THE 100's OF HOURS SEARCHING FOR THOSE HOLOCRONS ON DANTOOINE!!!!!!!!! I WANT MY FRIGGIN' CREDIT, OR BOTH MY ACCOUNTS ARE CANCELLED!!!!
You spent over a whole MONTH?! Aw, poor baby. I feel bad for you. No, really I do. (Okay, not really...)
Believe it or not, some people put in a LOT more effort than you did and I'm very glad to see that they're being credited appropriately. Some people put in eight months of effort and probably a thousand hours or more into the grind. Why should you get the same level of credit as they did?

The fact people are getting rewarded for mindless grinding is saddening enough.
However, there are people thathave puttime, effort into holocrons that may get sqwat, zero, zilch. Granted thereward forpeople further along should be more, but anyone who entered the holo system should get something. Otherwise, it's not "fair" like described.They said way back when that credit would be given, but that's only a partial truth.
Also, it looks like the gating is just causing a ton of people to wait around and not play. Hell, once they do get the visit, it'll be back to the PvE grind. Don't expect to see your friends, they'll be busy capping xp each day.
I won't have to worry about it though, I won't be here.

Hey, I got an idea. Why don't TH just wave his hands and make you all Jedi Knights with no waiting? Buncha fuggin whiners. Bad enough you helped screw the game over by powergaming a stupid decision on the part of the Devs. Then you whined and bitched and moaned until your rewards were increased. And now youdemand instant gratification on top of that.
GO AHEAD AND QUIT YOU WHINERS--THEN THE REST OF US CAN PLAY THE GAME THE RIGHT WAY WITHOUT 500 JEDI UNDERFOOT.
