Forgot to add that all pets were tamed ranging from lvl 7 to 47.


Mounts were any of the 6 allowed to be trained as mounts.

Those skill mod tapes are residue from beta, are broken, and will never be fixed. If you've put it in a socket, the socket is now occupied by a useless skill tape.

All my pets have been acting within expected perameters. I do have one thing to bring up. I tamed a giant spat, max cl around 22 I think. Anyway, when it hit 7 I got a message do I want to stunt it growth so it can be mount. I said yes so now I have a 7(22). This is probably part of the patch I did not read about, but logic would dictate a tamed pet/mount is tame despite its size. My two cents. Although I do feel there should be a mount training window. Anyway, just wanted to add this probably dated info to thread. CH looking good, will update when I test my +25 taming shirt.

The giant spat MUST be frozen at a certain point so the saddle graphic will still fit on it. That's why it stops growing. Beyond its CL 7 growth point, the saddle won't fit.

Pets still standing on top of me from time to time.
The biggest problem I have right now - mounts not following me. Both wild and BE pets are doing it. I get off have them follow me, as soon as I stop and they get up to me they stop. When I start walking again the mount just stays there. Really annoying. BE mount is a bol lvl 34. Wild mount is a brackaset lvl 30.

Well, Thunderheart, you asked... and you got about a BAZILLION replies. Do developers, QA staff, or ANYONE from SOE even read these posts?(particularly since these are the "official" forums) If so, do you actually take the information as "worthwhile"... or is it just from a bunch of whiners? Please take this into consideration: most of the posts that I've read have been mature, legible, detailed, and valid... FROM PAYING CUSTOMERS!


Now ...


WHAT IS SOE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? (specifically the Creature Handler problems)


The problems, I mean... aka not worrying about new content so much as worrying about fixing the bugs and subpar performance and stats that our pets have right now. From the dates of the posts here, this has been going on for some time.


At the risk of being redundant...


Quit worrying about new content, and concentrate on fixing the existing bugs!

While mounted on my kaddu ( tamed level 14 ithink) and havin' my Rancor out( tamed in the wilderness of dathomirand lvl 50) irecognize that it does not hold it's distance to mewhen following me, it stops right on top of my head. when i unmount the kadduthe rancorwill sometimes keep a distance to me ( about 2- 6 m) as it was usually before patch 6, sometimes it wont react on /tellpet commandos. Eventhough when callin' any kind of Pet (all my pets are selftamed excet the lvl67 kimo wich is not callable due to a bug)the stay right ontop of my position and only will keep distance as i go some way and they begin to follow.


Still the special1 and special2 commando is not functional the pet will sometimes react on the command but this is rare and very random ( it is so with all pet's in my datapad)


Still the taming vicious creature skill is asked for calling a BE kimogila lvl67 of my datapad, and not the maxlevel of pet ( 70 for a master CH ) so it will stay in my datapad untill this BUG will be fixed ( hopefully with the next publish or hotfixes.


Pets also sometimes autostore into the datapad for no given reason ( they hav full HAM or are commanded to stay right where they are )

Indene's right. Pets are disappearing in combat. Why somebody chose to one-star Indene's message, I'll never understand.

SOE has nerfed CH all to hell. It's difficult to get CH XP these days -- even moreso when our pets decided to go on an extended vacation during a fight.

YOU GUYSTOTALLY BOTCHED THIS PROFESSION,


1.) PETS WON'T (WILL NOT) USE SPECIAL ATTACKS WHEN COMMANDED (THIS WAS SUPPOSEDLY AN ADDED FEATURE THAT


WAS BOTCHED) YOU GUYS WON'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE THIS FACT. GET IT FIXED AND MAKE OUR PROFESSION VIABLE.


2.) PETS WILL RUN AWAY FOR NO APPARENT REASON WHEN IN COMBAT, EVEN ON CREATURES MANY LVLS BELOW IT.


3.) WHEN CALLED, THEY STACK ON EACH OTHER OR DIRECTLY ON THE HANDLER.


THERE ARE MANY OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THIS PROFESSION. IF YOU ARE GONNA IGNORE IT THEN WHY NOT JUST GET RID OF THE PROFESSION ENTIERLY. QUIT ACTING LIKE YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED, IT ONLY FOSTERS FALSE HOPE THAT YOU GUYS ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THE PLAYER BASE.

Wanted to add that tonight I got to a mission, commanded my pet to attack, cued my own attack, and as I am rushing in to start the battle sure enough...auto-store, group disbanded, I have now been abandoned to solo the mission. *sigh*


Really starting to believe that this profession has been nerfed into oblivion and I'm wasting my time. I'm not grinding this because some holo told me to, I wanted to do it because I thought it would be fun. Not having much funyet.

It's been three weeks since publish 6.


My creatures and droids still call to a range of 0 meters


My mounts and vehicles still store at random when not being ridden; the mounts often in the middle of combat.


My mounts still will not follow me automatically, as other creatures do; I must issue a "follow me" order to them every time both they and I are stationary for any length of time.


When do you intend to get around to addressing these newly introduced bugs into your already bug filled game?

I try to look on the brite side of things.



Sure I killed my Wookie, Master Ranger/Master CH after watching him become a useless toon back on Feb. 24th..


Sure I cursed SOE (Some Overpaid Employees)...


Sure I'd give up colorized bikes to have my old pets back in a heartbeat.



But hey I discovered other toon professions I never thought I'd like or would even try. TKA/Doctor combo is a decent one. Well till the next patch. Guess I'll have to move onto dancer or something when that gets nerfed to. It's a given with SOE's motto (If it's fun, or easy, it's Nerfed..)


I do miss the days of wandering the wilderness looking for that perfect baby pet to take home with me. Ah the good old days...
