My feedback since the patch on Feb 24.


1. Please address the problem with pets riding right on top of us? It's very annoying.


2. Mounts of all kinds are called out of the datapad and immediately fall into their snoozy state.


3. Mounts will no longer ffollow automatically, only if you do a /tellpet come.


4. The problem with the special attacks is valid. I can not get my pets to use their special attacks.

issue a) runs away from a fight in such a way as to re-define the word coward


issue b) none of the special attacks work


issue c) I do not consider my kimo arching its back, phoning its mother, checking its email, filling its nails, then finally attacking an appropriate response to my attack command


issue d) lack of damage, in pve (can't speak for pvp as I don't participate) pet damage is found more often in this post than in game.


issue e) *hey* were did my pet go....... clone activion requested.


issue f) the overall feeling CH is Wiley Coyote and the Devs are the Road Runner - ok not a real issue just having fun

Please people stop posting here CH has been killed let it rest in peace. I hated to see CH die but it is dead. Be compasionate don't keep kicking a dead horse. If CH weren't dead don't you think someone would have responded to hundreds of posts by now?

I've been having problems with my dewback. I have a bunch of other pets but this is the only one that is having the trouble.


The Dewback is bio engineered clvl 9. It's a powerful BE pet for that level so I'm not sure if the BE bug smackdown is bothering it. 3k health/2k action/1k mind. It is mounted. It was my non-CH pet for a while, and I didn't notice the problems until I became a novice CH myself.


The problems with it are:



  • The ham bars do not display properly. When I heal it, the bars stay where they are. If I give it a verbal command the bars catch up to where they should be.

  • It does not follow properly. It will respond to "/tellpet f" (where f is the follow command) but if I just say or yell "f" it does not budge. It does not autofollow when originally called. I have tried teaching different follow commands, it does not seem to have any effect.

Since he's a reptile, I assume he doesn't have rabies.

When I pulled my pet out in a house, it would not follow me out of the house. This has never been a problem before as all my pets I've pulled out while in a house have acted normally. It would not even follow me to the door.

Used Ranged skill does not work and what is the purpose of Special attack one when my pet can only do special attack 2 for some reason?


The pet can do a special attack 2 which stuns, but can not do special attack one because nothing happens.

The PETS keep disappearing or warpingwhen you have 2 pets out as a master CH, this is really disappointing i dont want to have to keep pulling camps out to get my pet and dont tell me that publish 7 will fix this with the camp restrictions going off i still dont want the trouble of having my pet warp somewhere else. This happens either when you have 2 of them out or when you do the special attack commands. Please fix this. Also an idea for Used Ranged skill for a pet is that we should be able to use it mabey every 15 or 20 or 60 seconds because right now it is broken.

I have a BE Razor cat lvl 41, with ranged attack, and I'm MCH, but cannot get thepet to used ranged attack, sometimes he does, but not when I tell him to.


The normal running from combat, causing me to chase after it, then 2 things will happen: I'll scatch up when still fighting, but before I kill the thing I attacked, both the pet and prey I was hunting disappear, or I kill the prey, but the lair disappears, and it says mission incomplete. This has happened with Fambaas, Dantari tribesmen, Savage Quenkers, Pikets, and more that I can't recall.


Missions and pets have been a BIG problem, specifically Rebel missions to destroy imp outposts.Either the pet runs out of range anddisappears along with the Imp he's attacking,or the Imps respawn ALOT and the pet disappears. Or the pet and Imps disappear, then new Imps spawn...


This has happened with tamed wild pets as well, including GSPs (lvl25) Grauls (lvl 30), and more, that I can't recall specifically.

I have remarked that since the patch my pets and droids do stand right on top of me, as others have stated. This is extrememly annoying, not to mention looks pretty dumb (and I am trying to look cool).And wedge and column does not last and also makes the pets act like they are on drugs.(similarly annoying) My pets are mostly all caught in the wild and only two of them are BE'd, the gurreck and the gnarlatch. My GSP's are super troopers and usually I have no problems with them. My gurreck, who is BE'd has disappeared back into his datapad once and this proved a little dangerous.


Other than these instances, I have not had as many problems as have others, it seems.


But I must say re next patch: WHY BOTHER DOING AWAY WITH CAMPS IF WE MUST WAIT 30 SEC TO CALL OUR PETS? I have nomarksman skills at all and my pet is my only savior. You don't make pistoleers wait 30 seconds for their weapons to appear!!! What is the point here?..........sorry to get off track...

Pets stand ontop of an enemy creature when attacking it still even though this was to be fixed in the feb 24 patch. The pets are not bioengineered and the pets warp or disappear sometimes when you have 2 or more pets out.

1. a lvl 67 Kimo (BE) is so big that its always on top of you, other creatures (lil ones) are ok now.

And kimo w8's very long before it attacks.

2. Ranged attack doesnt work (on tamed mereks i noticed it)

3. Big pets have problems attacking running npc's.

I'm not sure ifanyone else is having thisproblem or not, but ever since publish 7 trickle my bio pet crafting has gone down the drain. It pretty much started on the same day as publish 7 did, dunno if this is coincidence or not, but I'm unable to craft pets using same template dna as I always have,


I've checked and double checked my results, i used over 50 mutant rancor dna samples in my tests and i cant make the same pets I was making last week. Two things happen, first, I'm unable to combine dna to achieve high kinetic with high resists in same template, same results every time, i get close...it crit fails...second, I get a 2nd or 3rd gen pet..it crit fails...or i dna sample it and i get no sample and lose the pet. This has never happened to me before, oh sure, i've had crit fails but never to this degree. It's almost as if it's BY DESIGN. The crit fails happen at the exact same time, every time, 15 final attempts to have a maxed out pet...15 crit fails. Also, all these results came while crafting in a research city.


If anyone else is having the same problem, please let me know. Thank you

Since chefs and food have made their reentry into SWG, we should be allowed to choose what food we give our pets when they're hungry. When I have foraged food and chef food, the pet ALWAYS takes the chef food, when I would like him to take the food I foraged. Why give your pet an expensive buff food, which doesn't buff it when you can just give it something you foraged for much cheaper. My proposal is to allow a click and drag food onto the pet, so you know specifically what you are feeding it, instead of just clicking "feed pet", and allowing it the choice of what food is used out of your inventory.
