At this point I think it would be fuel to the fire - hey maybe we can become the new droid engineers, since they are FINALLY getting their due- it can be our turn to hear "the fix is onthe horizon".......

My pets do not respone to /tell or say ..they still have NO range abilties dont spit or anything


They still sit on top of me, I had to make hotkeys just so i can harvest from a creature to get hide or meat because i cant see the target with pets doing the huddle


Also the new dungeon my pet wont go past the first part just stands there with all the other pets???


ALL my pets do the above


ALL pets are wild and bio made

Since the Feb. 24th patch, all my pets are totally screwed. The moment I call them from my datapad they lay down. I mounted my Brackaset (Lvl 30 Tamed) while he was prone & when he stood up, I was mounted on the ground. Once I correctly mounta pet the /gallop command no longer works. I have a Carrion Spat, Dewback & Brackaset, ALL of them are affected. The text shows up that it is galloping & later says it is tired & slowing, but there is NO CHANGE in the speed.


The only pets that respond to commands are my 4 Razor Cats (three Lvl 25 tamed & one lvl 16 BE). My other pets (Kimogilla lvl 63 BE, Carion lvl 28 BE, Dewback lvl 23 BE, woolamander lvl 28 BE, rancor lvl 50 Tamed, two Graul Lvl 35 tamed & one Graul lvl 45 BE) just stand where I called them & not respond or move to my commands. No "?" above their heads, so I know they are understanding the commands. They will all group with me, but that's it. They refuse to follow or attack when given the command via /say or /yell or /think or /whisper or /shout.


Knockdown has never worked on any of my pets (tamed & BE), even though it is listed. None of my pets will do the special attacks when given the command for them. Some specials (not knockdown) are executed during combat, but only randomly,NEVER executed on command. Ranged attacksWERE working on all my pets, after the recent patch they won't move, much less use a ranged attack.


The Razor Cats, that do respond to commands disappear in combat with much more frequency than before the patch. As a MCH & MBE my pets are my weapons, so it's like having myweapon disappear from my hands during combat. I doubt anyone would keep subscribing if that "bug" started to migrate to other professions. Bounty Hunters, Riflemen, Marksmen, Brawlers all having their weapons disappear in combat. Yeah, that'll keep people comming back for more.


Finaly, it would be nice for the combat window to say when a pet uses a special, when this gets fixed. I currently look for the little icon to appear in the enemies HAM bar to tell when a special has been used & succeded. I can't know thespecials that didn't succeed.


I guess I'll just keep crafting gimped BE stuff until this is fixed, no use going into battle without my weapons.

When u call your pets they litterally come and stand right on you, its kinda annoying. Can they stand like a few feet from u?

1) Attack range bug


a) The bigger the Pet and the bigger the target,the worse the problem. My Kimo cant ever seem to find the right attack range to figth in. If the target moves at all, my kimo is all over the place trying to get back in range. If my Kimo is fighting fambaas he cant seem to fight at all. Go down in target size to a merek and my kimo does way better.


b) If he runs at all..he never seems able to recover and fight.


c) If I use a razor cat BE Pet I rarily see these problems.


2) Running... random run for no reason.


a) Pet is taking next to no damage from a total weak target and it burst runs away.


3) Pet tracking in dungeons


4) Total pet weakness in PvP


5) Lack of good tamable Pets


6) Lack of interesting BE skins





One very frustrated CH.
MCH/C My Kimo and I can kill me even faster now than you.

Please make banthas mountable. How did u guys forget the first mounted animal u see in the original movie?

It's been announced that banthas and Cu-Pas are mountable in the next publish.



Having a Savage Humbaba means never having to say your feet are wet.

While the idea of new mounts are nice. PLEASE fix the current problems before adding new ones.

This thread is full of all the problems and I have seen all of them in action myself, but you all missed one. I had two more pets regress to a creature level of ZERO yes 0. I had a level 50 rancor last night today he is level 0. Now I can get banned for using him I guess, Thanks for junking my pets this is now my 7th pet to either drop back to level 0 or just never grow at all.

Looks like some little error in feb24 fix notes:


They told that bug with follow and attack fixed but it should be corrected to: Pet follow and attack bug implemented with that hotfix


I sure there is no such bug with my pets before feb24 but now they affected by it.

Level 10 Kaadu mount, it was given to me fully trained by a nice person (I'm a newbie) and I had to do the trade in to make it level 10 so I could use it.


Follow command stopped working after Feb 24th patch. It will now only sorta work using /tellpet, but I have to be more than 20 meters or so away. Itsnow more like a "come here" command because they won't keep following me, they only come to my location then stay there.


Pet gets stuck on objects far more often as if the AI isn't routing them correctly.


HAM bars often do not update for pet especially after healing with a stim. The stimsays itworked, but I can't tell how injured he might still be because the HAM bars did not change (have also noted trouble with my toons HAM bars not updating correctly the last couple of days, may be related HUD issue). Often gettinghim into another fight will magically make the HAM bars update.


Pet is being autostored a lot and Inever had my mount autostore on me before now.This has left meabandoned in the middle of two MOB missionsnow when mypet suddenly vanished midfight. The last time that got me a deathblow...how truly special.


Mount option frequently vanishes from radial menu. I am able to use /mount command, but radial fails to show this option.


My pet doesn't stand on top of my head anymore and the running away is vastly improved so that part of the fix seems ok for me. But autoretrieving in the middle of fights leaving me to get a deathblowisn't a good trade off!

OK, Since the Feb 24 Patch I have been experiencing the following problems


1. can not trade/transfer lvl 11-15 pets to Non-CH players so they can trade them in for lvl 10s. Always get message that the Non-CH player has too many pets. The player has no pets at the time but has a bike or bikes and/or robot in their datapad at the time.


Has this been removed from the game?


2. Pets tend to dissappear from game at random times. I can make camp and recall them into the game. This also happens to the speeder bike.


3. Pets get stuck more often now even in places where there seems to be no obstruction, as far as I can see.


4. Mountable Pets will no longer "follow me" when given the command. Well, on some rare occasion they seem to respond but only once. They respond to all other commands. Retraining them with the command does not help. Riding them is no problem (yet).


Here is a question I've had since ataining Master CH status.

If a non-CH player can have 1 pet out at a time and you atain skill mod of +1 additional pet, should you not be able to call 2 pets?

If so, then ataining Master CH you have +3 additional pets, one should be able to call out up to 4 pets up to a total level of 70. This I can not do, only 3 pets totalling 70 lvls or less is all I can call.


Can we have some enhanced clothes that can up the pet call skill mod above 70. This would have to be stackable upon your current skill mod.
