Wow, little did you know there was going to be a new profession introduced with pub10, the hermit profession. You get so much XP by sitting on a mountain top all day waiting for some sign from an old man. When you get enough XP, the old man visits you.

help me plz....i cant get my badge"...has uncovered the mysteries of the ruin temple"...ive done the missions and it didnt give me badge and i have no clue how to fix this...i think this is one of the badges u need to become FS, and i cant repeat the missions from the jedi...i simply did the jedi missions and didnt get my bdage and i cant repeat the missions,i dont know why... i got 60+ badges, i did 3 holos 4th silent, mastered 7 professions and 1 profession before "profession badges" so i didnt get that one...am i screwed?plz some one help me out

lol, this is a location badge. You don't get the badge by doing the missions. Get back on your bike and fly around until you get the badge. If I remember correctly, I think the badge location is near the base of the temple itself.

Thank you devs for screwing up another wonderful oppourtunity to make us happy and shooting it to hell.
To those who accuse posters here of whinning, we are not whinning. Many of these people have been waiting since a few days after pub 9 to play their jedi. They were PROMISED they would get their jedi on publish 10. A very vailid reason to complain in my book. And what gets me is i know people with well over 70 badges that aren't glowy. I have around 30 poi badges and such and about 14 profesion badges(all holos done) and am glowy.
I am fine with waiting for the publish, but for those of us who were lucky enough to get glowy we should be visited by the old man THE DAY or maybe day after we log on after the publish providing we do what we're told and go outside city limits. For those who unlocked after 9 and before 10 they should be instantly visited by the old man and guided to the villiage. Similar to what they did on tc2.
The devs are constantly given chances to make this a game and constantly screw up. I have been a fierce advocate to give the devs time and let them fix things but from the looks of things they are as good as making the customer happy as a pile of dog **edit** is at creating a nuke out of toothpicks and a shoe.
Give us what we earned, stop hanging it infront of our noses then pulling it out of reach as we go to bite it.
P.S. this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were elminated.

Well Mr. Thunderheart....I would say after almost 12000views of confused and extremely upset people, that you might put in place some clear information. I would like to remind you of the days before you were employed by SOE.Imagine how back then you would feel right now. I bet you would be outraged. I am surprised after all of the historyI havewitnessedfrom youinteracting with thiscommunity there is not more of an understanding and problem solving attitude in place. I have played since launch and thought it was great to have you get that job but in all honesty, I also thought you would use your influence for the good of the game. Unfortunately, I have seen more and more of the old Thunderheart slip away with each and every post as of late. Now this is actually my first post in all this time and I would love to think you are there fighting for the integrity of the product and the rights of the consumers but that hope has dwindled to almost nothing. Well, I can definitely say from the mood in game and on the boards, keep up the thoughtlessness and you WILL have a mutiny on your hands. What would it be like to have half your consumers go on strike in an instant? I bet it would make headlines. Maybe we will see. Anything is possible isn't it.

I did 30 professions and was at my computer 99% of the time doing them. i think i have earned it. what you have said applies to alot of people but not all so shut up.

so other then the merchant restrections, your saying we are not allowed to access the new content if we are not jedi already. And to get into the village for those of us that are glowing and did not grind holo's, it could be weeks maybe even months befor we get to access the new content, WOW i'm glad my sub runs out on the 28.
Glowing with 3 mastered profs. all location badges and rebel, imp, nym, jabba's theme and the warren.

Don't even sweat it, this is what SOE does every patch, bend over the oldest players and shove it in. No lube, no kiss, no romantic dinner and a movie, nothing, just strait ripping fun for them.
I did ALL THE WORK to unlock, then waited over a month for patch 10, and now I'm waiting how much longer? I've played for 12 hours today, where the FUDGE is the old man? Yeah, he'll get to me sometime or later, maybe, who knows. Well FU SOE.
Go ahead, delete this post and ban me from the forums, Mr/Mrs/Ms Moderator, god forbid anyone does anything or gives any real answers as to when I'll actually be able to play my jedi.
And yeah, I'm angry, who wouldnt be after this BS.

ok this is a joke....i have 11 prof badges, all the POI badges 1 warren badge, theed library badge, the Hero of tatooine badges, and all the themepark except the rebel side and i "barely sense something different about myself?!! **edit** is that i havent played for over a year to barely sense something, after my i had done4 profs prior to my 1st holo and after my 1st holo it went silent do i lose out for getting lucky on the first 3 or 4 or wat ever...im just pissed i was hoping to sense a bit more but o well wat can u expect

i have already unlocked my jedi pre publish 9, when TC2-Eclipse copy last week went on i had done /check and was glowing as i expected i should be.
Todays patch i am just getting the "You feel a surge of the Force within you."
I have almost all badges in the game i am not sure how im suppost to get my main to "glowing" now.
