Thread: Weekly Rountdable Discussion (Week ending 1-10-04)
Thunderheart,
Please revisit the item storage limits on housing, particularly on large houses and PA halls. Large houses currently cap at 250 items, for the same lot space, players can get 450 items with 3 small houses. So they are doing so, at the expense of usable land.
For PA halls, this should be a place for the PA to come together, to share items, craft, socialize, etc. As such it needs to be well decorated and have space for player items. The current cap of 250 items is crazy. These things take 9 lots. Our PA hall is full at 250 items with only decorations. This means everyone has to craft and do other things in other locations. Our PA hall is nothing but a pretty building which no one visits. Please help PAs build the game community by allowing more items in these buildings.
I personally think 75 items per lot is reasonable, regardless of building size. I'd prefer 100, but will be happy with 75. This would give PA halls 675 items and solve our (and I'm guessing other's) problems.
Thank you,
Grom
How about getting repairing fixed to the way we were told it would work. I remember a Red name saying something about how the someone in the profession would have a better chance of repairing an item from that profession. Currently repairing seems very random and with item decay back in full swing it is almost a must.
Also quality of the tool used and repair mods also seem to have no effect, is there any way to test this out as well?
Thanks
Boo
Can we talk about the 'content coming' topic? What kind of mass content is coming? Are there going to be new types of misisons to take? Comeon tell us thickheads that want to see content!!! more content! lol

BH droid fixes
1> Seekers/Probes slower after training Investigation III working on Investigation IV
2> At least have probe droids tell us which planets the Jedi are on
3> Give us working names on Jedi missions (i.e. no false names or blank names)
4> Keep mission active even after Jedi loses TEF or logs off (in other words, we can hunt them down when they log back on with the same mission we took)
Thank you for opening this thread.
Issues:
- Fix vehicle deeds to show the hitpoints of the vehicle. This is an issue with serious vehicle distributers, and repeat vehicle customers. I believe it was meant to be included, but somehow got overlooked. As it is now, the average person in the game doesnt even realise the effort that goes into finding the best resources for the highest-hitpoint vehicles, they just want to see the lowest pricetag available. The leads customers into inadvertantly getting ripped off by artisans that levelled up SOLELY to make quick profits, and as such they sell thier 0% critical failures for the same price as other people sell thier 99% Experimented failures. In Landspeeders, the difference between 0% and 99% is about 1495 hitpoints.
- Please look into expanding the survey abilities for Master Artisans. With the rate of Jedi-Grinding going rampant in the game right now, the Full-Time Master Artisan has been diluted down to nothing. People level up Artisan, and drop it just as fast unless they are headed to one of the higher crafting trees. (in which case they still drop it to retain combat skills as long as possible)
I have created two threads regarding this in the Artisan forums, which have seen no response to anything in months.

Thank you for your time.
Thunderheart, I would like to bring up an issue about the "almost" forgotten daily server reboots..
What is the purpose of this still? Clearly the servers should be able to run at least 5-7 days without a restart. It seems to me that this has justgotten routine for the tech-guys.
I realizethis is done in the hours where the most of the playerbase is offline, but keep in mind that there are thousands of European players on the US serversin the hours when the server reboot happens. This is getting very annoying and it feels completely unnatural to me (and a lot of other players I would assume). And of late, it seems the reboots takes longer and longer, sometimes up to two hours (Bloodfin is extremely slow with the loading process)! This can't be right?
The game has been out for like 7 months now, and still this is done on a daily basis. If there is a reason for these daily server reboots, please atleast explain to us why this is still happening and when we can expect thisto stop.
Thanks.
