The risk of being attacked by Bounty Hunters is well known BEFORE the player even unlocks his/her Jedi slot. Therefore, logging in as a Jedi IS CONSENTING to possible PvP. Just like declaring yourself overt.

30 second delay on Pet/Mount/Vehichle call -
Too long of a delay. Calling a camp and then your pet took no more than 10 seconds (90% of the time, 5 seconds).


60 second delay on Pet/Mount/Vehichle after combat -

Is this cap limit on defenses going to be on dodge/counterattack/block or all defenses like def vs dizzy, def vs blind, etc...


And can you please tell us what this cap will be?


Also, Please do not nerf warcry. Why is it ok to kite a melee player without gettin hit but not ok to warcry and not get hit?

Since you're addressing 'critical fails' for crafters and reducing them as their skill increases, can you PLEASE use the same opportunity to reduce the 'critical fails' for dancers in the same way? We're very tired of being Master Dancers and falling all over ourselves constantly.

It would also be nice to see a bit of love in the patch for entertainers of any kind...been a while since you gave us any.

Kudos on the rest, sound like some great changes to the game.

60 second delay on Pet/Mount/Vehichle after combat -
Again too long. I think 30 seconds would fit just fine.


Carbineer Special fixes -
Another Item that has been broken from the begining was /chargeshot2. The description of this special is an AoE KD. I have never had this special KD 1 mob let alone AoE.



I am interested in seeing what else is being changed in this patch.

The entire Jedi concept is -to put it rather mildly- flabbergastingly retarded. Personally -and I'm sure I am not alone in this- do not really care that Jedi were near extinct during the Galactic civil war. Like it or lump it, the main attraction to Star Wars -for the maiority of people- is the Force and and subsequent existence of Jedi. If you introduce Jedi to the game, making them nearly impossible to play just isn't a good idea.

I mean come on, first you invest an incredible amount of time and effort into a character -equal chances for casual players, my ***- to even be able to play a Jedi -that is not the character with whichyou went to such great lengths!- andnow it's going to become virtually impossible for a Jedi to stay alive unless he's alone in the galaxy.


As for there being other goals to the game? Like what? Influencing the course of the civil war? Allow me to doubt that, because according to the logic that restricts the number of Jedi -the movies blahblah-, the Rebels must win. The only thing leftI can think of is levelling and role-play. The first being a very tedious task -every mission is exactly the same, but at different locations- in itself and the second is sort of hard with the players being spread so thin.


Don't get me wrong, the game has some outstanding and detailedfeatures, but the too much of it is just completely askew. Why not introduce a jump capability -kind of irrealistic that you can't even jump over a 1' wall- first, before letting people paint their vehicles -for instance-???

ok what is with the anti-wookiee sentiment which seems to silently extend to the devs as well? Are we going to have to wait until the game is out a full year or more before the devs bother to fix a race that never lived up to what it was supposed to be? It took months for them to acknowledge there was a problem and still no word as to when we might see a fix. Last night, with buffs and a combat medic healing me, i still dropped to incap in under 60 seconds to 2 quenkers. Now before anyone starts flaming with "wookiees suck" and "nerf the wookiees", take a serious look at this. Wookiees can not PvP at all in any competition with a player of equal combat skills and level if the other player is wearing anything like mabari or higher. That's pathetic.

sorry dunno why that posted twice. Anyway, the devs saw fit to "fix" the chef profession because it was pointless and nobody wanted to use it, they've proposed a bunch of other changes it light of recent changes and needs. Even Jedi is getting a revamp?!! Are there more Jedi than Wookiees in the game orsomething that this change to Jedi is warranted before they fix things broken since launch? Hell, there was a "fix the wookiees" post 40+ pages long at one point which didn't even receive its first dev response until at least page 11. Yeah, tell me again the devs are making a serious effort to fix wookiees.

Honestly, I'll have to wait to see if droids feel to be more a part of the world than before. Basically "I'll believe it when I see it".


In the mean time, glad to hear about lamps. Seriously. I'm just surprised it took this long to implement them. Same with mounts...keep 'em coming!


A long time ago, a question was asked as to what new casual animations players would like to see in the game. What happened to that?
