Entertainer thing is a total crock of bullsh*t.
Docs buff and can reapply buffs faster then any entertainer can do theirs. THAT'S 6 STAT BUFFS FROM A DOC FASTER THEN 1(dancer) or 2(musician) STAT BUFFS.
You made a step forward with the entertainer buff food to reduce the time.
100000000 STEPS BACKWARDS with this addition....
I dunno, maybe you guys got short memories, but this has been a freakin correspondant issue on the Entertainer/musician/dancer boards for like 6 months.
ok u supposedly fixed the repair issue for vehicles...yeah right.
what u did was re introduce the repair not sticking bug,what old pos code did u try re-inserting into live,as it obviously brought back the bug.
while were at it,the supposed creature fix ...re-introduced the warpin bug,but worth then original.
do you folks actually make new code?
or do u just shuffle the deck from old code segments to see if it will magically be acceptable now ?
soe pay for better coders,the existing set obviously isnt up to the task.
yeah i have an attitude,we get publishes that do nearly nothing,but introduce new bugs,adn eye candy,and coders that cant track bugs to fix each new breakage.
im still waiting to wear my crafters apron from months ago,that some bright dev made a vest item,so wooks cant wear it....hmmm really bright and nive that u dont bother to fix it too.
in the real world if u dont support your product,folks simple stop buyin it.and if coders dont debug tyhey are fired,in soe,lala land there given promotions.
gotta wonder what toons are heading support and development

I hear this from alot of Rebels. From alot of Rebels who know that FPs will get them factional-ships in the upcoming SE. Tell me again easy/free faction points for rebels means nothing, will you?

I'm usually not this upset about changes, but ramping up the HAM on STs is not the "interesting and challenging" gameplay that you are looking for.
Oh, so what you're saying is you don't want the Stormtroopers to be the "feared/walking death" troops that they are s'possed to be? Read up on the SW Databank, Stormtroopers are the elite fighting squad of the Empire. They strike fear in the hearts of all who see them. And now that they're up to par with what the databank considers them, all the Rebels are mad that they can't just sit alone in a city all by their lonesome and farm mad faction points for that shiny new X-Wing they have their eye on?
The storm troopers are an elite fighting *squad*. They are a very well trained military *unit* trained to fight *together* and use the best military hardware available. They are *not* superhumanly tough to the point that they can be shot in the head 1's every second for 10 mins and still be standing.
Tell me again how 1 player taking out every Stormtrooper in a city is Star Wars? Please remember Rebels: You are not the heroes of the Rebellion. You are simply no-named soldiers in the army, much as the Imperials are.
We are not no-named soldiers. We may not be the characters from the films but we are not mooks, Storm troopers are.

While you are waiting for the fix be sure to store it and regenerate it BEFORE you rempair it. Then store it again to update the database. Then when you regenerate it the repair should have stuck.

This is consistent behaviour for my vehicles.
If you perform repairs when mounted and then proceed to cross a server boundary, when you dismount the vehicle disappears. When called again the repairs have been undone.
The thing I haven't seen talked about other than in the Game Guides section is that the /conv command was removed/nerfed in this publish. You must now be in agro range of your target before you can converse with him. Now I agree that the 90m /conv command is unrealistic. But so is running around a target trying to get them to stop shooting at you long enough to converse with them. I think you failed to realize that there are mission types out there that dont involve faction at all in order to complete. And themissions that do; you areasking us to guess in the middle of a mission which type of faction we need is rediculouse. I have a few suggestions.
Escort & Retrive (Faction)
Garva had this to say about the NPC's that argo while going on these types of missions.
"Unfortunately that's the way faction works in every game, and now the "loophole" to having to have the faction got taken away. If thugs attack you on sight and you want to do a quest that involves one, then you need to build your faction."
I do not agree. If you take a mission from an NPC you should only be able to get that mission if you have the correct faction standing. If not, you are fed a line that you need to take get lost. (exe: Rebel trying to do IMP missions, Hutt faction standing trying to do Valerian missions.) If you are able to take a quest from an NPC that involves a converse command to complete then you become a representative of that faction and should be allowed to converse with the second NPC without being attacked. (no matter what your standing is with that NPC. Anything else is more unrealistic than conversing at 90m.
Escort & Retrive (non Faction) BROKEN
These missions come from non-aligned NPC's and the contact NPC is also non-aligned.(yet still hostile) Well the "loophole" that Garva mentioned does not apply here. These missions spawn a hostile target that is intended to attack you per the quest story line. Now in this instance you dont even have the chance of finding out what kind of faction the hostile NPC has and spending a few hours getting on the good side of it. Scince publish 8 you are now required to unequip your weapon and run around the NPC while he is attacking you.Thenhope that he ends the battle while you are close enough to converse with him through the radial menu before he attacks again. This is a completely unrealistic tactic and renders this mission un finishable.
Capture or Arrest BROKEN
These missions are supposed to spawn an agro opponent. After all you are trying to capture someone who is bad or against your faction and bring them to the authorities. So again in order to complete this mission you must become a duck in a shooting gallery and run around this NPC hoping it will end duel close enough to you that you can converse.
As you can see 2 out of 3 of these mission types are broken. The third requires that you spend countless hours swapping faction in order to finish small low paying (but kinda fun) quests. I think that this issue needs to be addressed by the devs.
I pesronally take great joy in these samller non-Theme Park quests that allow you to see the peon side of the SWuniverse. It helps me to actually feel like I am affecting somethingin the universe while you are working on fixing the GCW. I implore you to please put back the /conv command at least so thatwe can finish the quests untill you find a better solution than the one you are currently running on live.
