I don't mind a challenge, but I do not like having to buy one set of armor just to blow on it. WE had a jedi Guardian with us last night in a group of 15 masters, a doc cm the whole 9. He was the only one left fighting 3 at once, and eventually couldn't outdo their damage in heals.

Much fun, not ever goin back tho until they fix decay and/or buffing up there.

WOW, what is fun about 10 high level players not being able to do a dungeon? It is way to hard, if 10 is the max you can bring, what happens if you only have 8 people, you die quicker? Oh yea thats lots of fun! And then on top of that you get to burn thru a whole set of armor, that just adds more fun. If this is the dev. idea of fun, they need to get out more.

This thread just goes to show that many playes will never be happy:

"WE NEED HIGH END CONTENT!!!! THE GAME IS TO EASY!!!!"

"okay, have this...."

"NO NO NO, IT'S TO HARD, TO MUCH WORK, CAN'T BUFF...BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH...."

I will probably never try this mission. I can't believe that people have the nerve to post that it is to hard however. It will be beat by a group soon, I'm sure of that.

STOP COMPLAINING!!

And yes, I've been there and I died there...

It was fun, the most fun I have ever had in PvE.

To those of you who said it's too hard, or we died too easy, I say, tell the truth now...you ran around as headless chicken and were attacking anything in sight. I know we did, and we got thumped real good for our assumption that this were to be genocave mk 2.

Note that those who actually did manage to do the mission states that they were using...wait for it...TACTICS

To the devs I say, DO NOT NERF THE CORVETTE.

Hurry up and fix the armor hole, consider to allow docs to heal wounds and rebuff.

Fix the LOS issues so thatevery NPC in range doesn't aggro when we use area attacks.

And since we can'treinsure there and , please reduce decay to 1%, after all goodexcellent armor is almost mandatory.

I spent at least 1/2 of the 1 hour time limit either meditating away massive wounds, or on my back incapped. I heard it was tough, but had no idea it was that tough. Wow!!!!

Left with my low scale wookiee armor in tatters (although the composite guys had similar probs), 845 battle fatigue, and no loot to speak of. I was happy for the 1 hour time limit though - it got me out of there when I had reached the point of the most frustration.

Nothing like immediately stepping into a room and then watching your incap start to count down from 70-90.

We had group of 10, all masters of varying combat prof. Me - I'm master TKA/Doc.

Our strategy started out working very well - agro one guy draw him in and drop him. Who would have guessed that it would take our party of 10 at least 5 mins of our 1 hour to take him down.

Cool music to start - gave you that forboding feeling. That's about the only part I enjoyed.

I went last night (rebel rescue) with a group of about 10 people, all masters. 2 Docs, all in all a pretty well rounded group. We did need a CM pretty bad though.

This dungeon was just too hard. I was expecting it to be a challenge. A big challenge but it seemed almost impossible to me, everyone in our group died multiple times, so all the buffs we had we're gone, and at that point we could only fight the low level ST's everything else would 1 shot us.

After I died the 3rd or 4th time I just started running around avoiding the ST's trying to see as much as I could to get an idea of what was going on. I picked up a couple of items along the way in crates and stuff probably for parts of the mission I hadn't gotten to yet. I ran into the engine room and got smacked by the Super Battle Droid for 6k and laid on the ground trying to regen untill the time ran out.

It just seems a bit too hard to me, I wanted a challenge but just about every melee class is useless up there(and I think with everything supposed to be balanced everyone should have an equal chance.)

Suggestions for improvment:

  • Lower resists on ST's and lower HAMs on upper level ones (ST's should not be as strong as a Krayt)

  • Need a med center to be able to rebuff and heal wounds.

  • Insurance would be good, or less decay

  • A clearer description of the mission at hand. Maybe a group wide communication from LT. Lance (or whover your contact was) That outlines your objectives.

  • Dungeon should adjust to the level of the group, as should the loot given. A certain level group is required to get the new loot.

Thats all I can think of at the moment. This dungeon could be extremly fun, but only will be once it is toned down a few notches.

It's great that they are adding content to the game, but they need to do a better job. Why can't the dungeon look at how many members in the group and then increase or decrease the level of diff. of dungeon. we are not all jedi in the game, and i don't even know any jedi. Last time i checked everyone was paying a fee to play this game if the majority of people PAYING, feel its to hard then it is. Oh one last thing the dev's might play the game, but they don't pay for the game, we are the reason its here! HARD DOESN"T = FUN!

Ok, attention everyone:

People who from now on cry about it being to hard or too lootless or whatever, just because out of sheer incompetence to play the game, will now be officially classified as WOMBAT-Users.

Please take these WOMBAT-Stickers and wear them visible at all times. *hands out stickers*

I dont think its ur isp.

My husband and I both play on the same server while networked and we went into the Corvette together last night. The only problem we had was I was Neutral and the rest of the group was rebel..Needless to say Ima REBEL now!

Might have something to do with ur factions?

Just a thought.

Corvette is great. We did some serious damage in there with a group of 3 and 1 pet. Please allowing buffing in the area that you get cloned. This is nutz that you go up against multiple 200k+ HAM NPCs and you cant rebuff.

ALLOW US TO BUFF IN THE CORVETTE

Into the Corvette of Death rode the four.. . . And yes, I mean four, not four thousand. A master Smuggler, a Master Pistoleer, a Commando and a Master B.E. Jabba the Hutt had asked us to destroy the Corellian Corvette for him.

We stepped into the hall, and took down one of the CorSec trooopers. And then we found. . . a droid? Not a battledroid mind you, but an R-3 Unit that ACTUALLY BELONGED TO THE B.E.'s FRIEND. This person was NOT with us at the time, and we've no idea how the little tyke got aboard the starship. These missions are supposed to be instanced, right?

But I digress. After we recovered from that shock, we proceeded to get thumped by the CorSec officers in the Engine control room. I had to leave after that, but I didn't hear any complaints. We took the beating, and we liked it. And we didn't do too badly, for there only being four of us, either. By that point we'd heard doing the 'vette was suicide without a lot more characters, but we wanted to see it anyhow.

I think it should be hard, but can't it be scaled to fit the abilities of the group? I mean, I know the programming is probably hard, but scaling the bad guys to the abilities of the group, especially since the mission is created just for that group at the time they go up, would go a long way to ensuring that more people can enjoy the mission.

Just my 2 credits.
