say 75 fp low rank

80 percent of that at next rank

65 percent at next rank free for high rank.

No matter what faction you are.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE revisit armor decay. Listen to your players. It is double taxation - remove decay on it now and the uproar will simmer down to a murmur.

Totally, I have no problem really with decay EXCEPT on armor because of the double taxation. Also, please give the condition on items that decay? I'm sick to death of trying to use my tools and finding I can't because they are decayed but I didn't know it.

i agree if we must live with this evil

i'd rather go back to the original system of reclaming items from corpses at this point

Umm I've wanted that fron the start but everyone said that was too much of a pain.. Now that you've had item decay, is it so much of a pain??

I don't think so.

The cost should vary depending on your rank.

My idea is that the base cost should be 500FP for a Private and decrease it by 25 for each promotion.

This will make the Ranks mean something and encourage promotions.

I'm trying to get some math going on how many ranks there are in the game. Basically get it to a point where Colonels can purchase the insurance for free.

Have it free with Overt status, this would help eliminate the "TEF riding" covert's that group with the overts, because if they are Covert the pass doesnt work but only works when you are overt. I know 1% isn't much but still something to think about if your going to be "bending" the system so that you can get free attacks.

If its just one price fits all, then it should be 50fp or 5000 credits. I suggest having the price based on rank. Imp officers get a bit of meaning in the crackdown patch, this would give something to us rebel colonels out there.

Although for the record I'm against decay upon a pvp death.

I suspect TH knows it's ridiculous...

I know Im going to get some crazy answers, but Im straining to hear those that want to weigh in with good information.

Just for future reference, what is "good information"? Is that the information spewed forth by the minority that happens to validate the decisions that have already been made?

I can see a flaw in the cost to buy a day pass :

For the casual gamers it would be a time sink for them to

  1. first, do some missions to get factions points (or creds)

  2. then be able able to affordthe pass

As a Hardcore gamer I don't care, even if the pass would be 1k faction points. I have time and resources to get them fast. But I'm worried such a system would have a bad impact on casual gamers.

We allready have to get creds for :

  • buying all our stuff : armors, weapons...

  • pay travel fees

  • insurance

  • cloning

  • tip entertainers and medics (for thoses who tip)

The big deal here is decay on armor wich allready decays from usage, and decays fast.

Please would you consider removing the decay on insured armor, and hot fixing it in publish 6 not in one month or one year...

I don't think it should be available. What should be provided would maybe be a top quality repair kits. Oh, and the ability to repair things that aren't normally repairable.

Keep decay in place. 1% is hardly anything and you can always take the armor to an armorsmith and get it repaired.
