I'm tired of waiting for something to happen, damnit I just want an explanation and a new schedule of the coming publishesfrom anyone... from Devs, from those LucasArt guys (like ShiraOcto) or evenfrom the President himself. Not that I'm not used to wait (I've been since I registered last august), it's just that I would like something concrete to make my final decision and don't stay here knowing it's heading nowhere.
Thanks for your comprehension,

Ah yes the Fall on your Sword tactic. This could work in quelling the fire since the replacement can come in and pretend to care. This should at least by SOE a couple few months.

WELL
people will never be happy, doesnt matter how much effort devs do, they will always complaint, they want a perfect game where they alway win and they never have to whine.
[Is there something wrong with people whining when they have been lied to?
Should people just stay quiet, pay $15 for a premium game, for which they are frustrated with?
Did you read the list that keeps getting reposted on this thread that first starts off in Janurary?]
Been playing for nearly a year and yes i agree that are some things that needs to be changed and fixed, obviously it cant be perfect and it WONT be perfect, this guys work to make it best as they can.
[So $15 for aPREMIUM game is fine even though its broken.
Very well can Ihave you renta car from me that has a V-8 engine in which only 5 pistons fire?
By the way its new and it looks cool, that's all the matters right?
Oh and if you act now, I'll make the car fully loaded, but its engine won't be fixed.]
Should they hire more/better people? maybe, or maybe just find collaboration and feedbackon forums instead of complaints and whinings [This has been going on since day 1... actually since before Day 1. Ever read about the "All Professions, Give Us Your Top Five Needs" threads sometime ago? Did you ever read these ideas that players have put forth on the threads? Yes some are great, but nothing ever became of them...] if u dont like it just play something else and if u like it ( wich is my case, i love playing swg i have loved it since the first day) just keep going.
[Many of us see SWG a game that has great potential and have submitted ideas of how to improve upon it, in a professional and positive manner. But to no avail. We were given a BIG promise and now that promise has been broken. Players are indeed leaving, and eventually if too many customers leave, you won't have a game left to play.]
I have never played in test center, i cant really help a lot on feedback cauze im not much into technical details, pvp or another stuff like that, sometimes i get mad cauze i waisted a skilltape that costed me 1 mill, cauze just when i get buffed and mindbuffed message appears "server will go down, please find a safe place ..." at about midday ( 12;30 in the morning) when i have morning off, andsome more stuff but hey u know what? **edit** happens, happens in real life and happens here.
Im not a programmer or anything like that i work in the tourism area and i havent got much idea about programming but...do u really think is easy to do a change in something as big as swg??? i dont think so, what about making that change without messing up some other ingame stuff? dont think so either, they have to check every little change like a 1000 times before they put it on live and that , my friends, takes time.
[Unfortunately you have discredited yourself. You claim that making changes to code for a complex project, such as SWG takes a lot of time and resources; but yet you say that you are no programmer or experienced in the industry. How do you know this for certain?]
I have a main char with nice temp to run a nice shop that helps me make money, i have a jedi, i have tons of friends, im on a cool guild, i HAVE FUN EVERYDAY I PLAY, and thats it thats why i will keep paying and i will keep playing.
[How long did you use your main character as a Pistoleer that half of the specials do not work as intended? Was that acceptable? Is it acceptable for melee fighters to plow through hordes of Stormtroopers, when someone using pistols can't even do the same? Does that seem to be an imbalance or as intended as designed?]
U complaining guys...take it easy, relax and give feedback, help, help on test center, do not just complain and insult devs and csrs, they are NOT perfect same as all of u and the game IS NOT perfect and let me tell u again in case u missed it IT WONT BE PERFECT, just let them do their job best as they can and make ur own game xp perfect wich is the most important thing actually.
[There is a saying, "Lead by Example." Why should we listen to you and help with the Test Center and provide feedback when you, yourself, do not?
SWG won't be perfect. I wholeheartly agree with you on that, even more so now.
My own game xp can't be perfect when fists, blades, and sticksare far better than blasters. If both were on par with each other, I could accept that.]
Have a nice day

Might I suggest if you have some spare time to set up one of your toons in the city of your choice and help inform the player base who doesn't read the forums of this decision as well. I know if I didn't know about this I sure would appreciate it if somebody told me.

All chest beating aside:
1. Unless you MUST win at PvP to have fun, the game actually isn't that bad. Yes, the imbalance in PvP is irritating. For me, not a gamebreaker.
2. 60 pages of angry posts is nothing....especially when I'd guess that less than half of the angry posters have the guts to actually follow through and quit....because:
3. JTL will be a license to print money. All but the absolute hardcore "I hate SoE!" folk are going to try it...I think we all know that. And from what has been demonstrated so far, it's actually good.
I'll admit, I burned out and quit for a few months. Coming back and playing BE/CH has been a change for me and has been quite fun. Do I sit there and burn with anger that I'm not a CH from last summer, able to solo anything in the game with my 3 rancors? Nope. I play with what I have and figure out what fights I can win...and build my own pets and have fun with that.
So there ya go.

Well all, I have posted some hateful crap in these threads the last few days. I am greatly disappointed with this news, and as such I cancelled all 3 of my accounts. Last night I sent JustG an IM, not a hateful one, but I just told him that a lot of the accounts could be saved by responding to the outrage. I also told him that integrity and honesty were going to be required to save the game. You know what, he actually responded. What does that mean you ask?
It means this, they hear what we are saying. There are real people behind these red names we see posting on the forums. How many times have you gone to a store and returned a product, and then bitched out the person working? You get nowhere with that kind of behavior. That doesn't mean you don't have the right to complain, just do it in a constructive and intelligent manner. I'm as guilty as anyone for acting a fool on these boards. I would just like to say to Thunderheart and the Dev team that I'm sorry for expressing my anger in the manner I have. I don't know what goes on where you work, or even what you do. I've been ignorant, and showed it.
That doesn't mean I like what's going on. I still have my accounts on cancellation, and I'm taking a wait and see approach. I would like to suggest to everyone who's posted here about cancelling. Step back and reevaluate why you play the game. Sure there are things wrong, but I play the game to have fun and interract with you all. If that's not why you play then by all means go do something else, but if it is then reconsider and come back.
Remember, don't hold people to a standard you yourself cannot meet. I've expected perfection from them and asked for "understanding" for myself. Not fair, and defintely not cool. /deepbow

I agree, TH isnt responsible for this, as far as im concerned hes doing a great job. And the other devs were probably to scared to post this themselves so poor ole TH has to do it.
