think an important factor for the immediate future is rewarding players on the path to Jedi. Players on 20 to 30 profs should be close to Jedi in the new system.
Exactly...SWG Players have been very patient and forgiving of delays, but it was promised that compensation would be made. It would be nice if Thunderheart would one simple question - Will those who have been seeking Jedi under the old system be compensated in the new?

Eh. Quitting a game so they will fix it is just...stupid. They aren't going to change their schedule. And if you care enough about the game to cancel your account in order to fix the game...then you're most likely going to come back when they do fix the game. so basically, there's no such thing as "Quitting so SOE will fix the game".
Regardless of wether they are willing to change their schedule or not, we are simply not willing to pay for the game while we're not enjoying it. Sure, many of us will be back once(if?) they do make things right, but that wont be this year most likely. If enough people quit they will notice their numbers declining and *might* take action, so the I don't see the logic of "quitting the game to get it fixed" to be entirely flawed.
Many are also annoyed by SOE over the constant delays, and have little faith in critical flaws being fixed anytime soon. So why spend our dollars while we wait, it's much better to use that money somewhere else until those critical flaws are taken care of.

That links to a history of the combat balance.
Started being hyped like it was around the corner in DECEMBER. Followed by monthly delays and us being told "just to wait till CB it will fix everything" and more delays for 6+months. This is the best example of corporate dishonesty I have seen in a while.
I would be interested to see how TH would respond to so many false statements that he made.
Personally if my employer had me lying to the fan base, that pays my salary, and then have me basically admit it all had been a lie; id be pissed.
BTW at the rate its going, give it till DECEMBER to start, that would mean that it took a full year to get started on fixing a major part of the game. DO you really want to play a game that it takes the devs a year to START fixing one of the biggest parts of the game? I would hope you were smarter than that.

My advice.
Jump to lightspeed is a waste of time. If I want to play space I can buy a star wars space game. Better fix combat. I know I am not logging in anytime soon and have cancelled my two accounts already.
Do me a favor create a jedi free server. This might satisfy some of us who have come to hate this profession because of the players who play them.
