During the past 14 months, I have endured a lot of change...some good...some terrible. Through all this i have kept my cool and stuck with the game. Now, for the first time, I am leaning heavily to finishing out this month and cancelling my account. I think that after all the waiting and hard work [I have glow...I have half the hologrind done...been playing for over a year] That it toally sux that guys playing for a few weeks have had their visits and are doing the village while I continue to wait for the lousy old man. I have finally had enough!

What about ME i finished one holo before the jedi holo revamp it was according to your post 1 of 5 i needed. That is 20% of becoming a jedi. Shouldnt i get 4 boxes 1 skill tree at least ? Not asking much just for credit being a loyal customer and playing a game that now I cant stand to log in and play because my holo dont count for nothing at all. It is your system your game, do you not care about your players ? i dont mind grinding the other 5 branches nor waiting to do so when they come up in phase, after all i didnt put any more effort into a jedi after my first holo. But that first was my choice as was not doing a second. I did not like the system at that time, but knew from forums taht things would change and those who did holos would get credit for them. So I played and had fun thinking i would be ahead of thsoe who never opened a holo, even if only slightly ahead..... if i had known this i would have rerolled my wookiee to a different species and been able to wear composite armor and be more effective as a PvP PvE because of the armor being available much more so than any wookiee armor now, AND I WOULD HAVE STUN rsesists without PSG.

lol - wouldn't that mean all us angry ones will be heading down the path of hate and working alongside the Emperor? I guess for the Dark Jedi's it's cool.

Same question than Driodhandle, how do we know they change groups? But its seems difficult by these days to have a correct answer...

Hey! I chose the "Comic Sans" font for this post cause this is
too funny... I've been playing since last august...curse my brother
for getting me hooked. I've had fun, been frustrated with the bugs and nerfs and made and lost more friends than I care to count. I've watched as many others grinded their hearts out to master professions to get jedi - my heart goes out to ya.
I did my two holos and a couple of other profs and visited a
bunch of places - so guess what, I got glowy in just one3 hour session at the Warren. Here's the funny part. I really dont care about jedi and will just get a few fs skills. To do this I had to
get two imperial badges, which is quite ironic since I am a LT.
in the Rebel Alliance and have never played an imp. So thanks
Darth & Co. for getting me to glow.
This would REALLY be funny if it weren't so darn screwed up.
STAR WARS is a good story - SWG is loosely based on that story. I'd say very loosely now.

Responding to Thunderhearts request to see how long it would take for the Old Man to visit us.
Patch 10 went Live on Tuesday... as of 7:00 AM PST I was "glowie". It was at 5:30 PM PST Wednesday that the Old Man came. Sith Outlaws arrived on Thursday at about 7:00 PM PST.
My only question is... I thought I had automatically qualified because of the "glowie" status from the beginning, but when I trained at the village I only got 4 trees. Does that mean I was ctually group one and not on the "automatic" crowd? Or does it mean I am supposed to get one more tree and didn't? Not complaining, just wondering... 
I am having a lot of fun with the trials. Thanks to the Devs!! I know it's not an easy job, but through the bumbs you've done good work. Thanks again!

I just got to the village to see how many free unlocks i got and its only 2. I haven't done many profs (3 of the ones i did where holo silent on 4th) i've played for almost a year enjoying the few profs i did, i think people who have played for that long but decided not to grind deserve a little more.

Same thing happened to me. I was landing from the shuttle and they attacked but someone killed one of them before I landed. Haha, the one I killed had the loot but you have to kill both. They did respawn about 2-3 min later at the same spot.

Nice to hear that. It has troubled me what happened if you lost "the prey" to someone who decided he could kill them

all of this sounds like Jedi stays the domain of the
"powergrinders". Oh well, lucky me never wanting to be
a Jedi. But I think most people doing this aren't really
playing, but just letting run their "toons" on full auto
macro.
It is becoming a very strange game.
But in the end it does not matter. Even Full Auto Accounts
have to be paid in $ . Think about it from time to time.
You _pay_ to _play_ this game.

SOMEONE PLEASE READ THIS AND MESSAGE ME TO HELP ME!!!I didnt even master my first holo-prof, i just got the badges before publish 10. Was glowy from the start, and got my old man visit on day 3 of the Publish. Sith showed up about 10 hours later (exactly 5 mins after i got off a shuttle in a player city). I've dont the first quest, the combat/patrol one, and i'm in the middle of the extra one now. I can have xp converted to all of the different types, and all 4 skill trees are on my 'all professions list', and i think i can go and buy them all now when i get the xp. Have I got some special unlocks here?! What's going on?!?!?

It's friday 21.41pm GMT and no oldman i have been logged on for 15hrs now... and no old man this is getting stupid, a friend of mine logged on with:

he gets a visit from the oldman
Have i done something wrong here or is this sytem as messed up as the game is?
