The game is messed up the system is messed up, and when you try to actually speak with someone its nearly impossible !!
I would not worry much about the old man I WOULD WORRY ABOUT THE CREDIT YOU GET FOR THE HOLOS DONE AND PROFESSIONS MASTERED !!!!! THAT SYSTEM IS SKEWED TOWARDS THOSE THAT GRINDED OUT ALL THOSE PROFESSIONS AND NOT THOSE THAT PLAYED THE GAME TO PLAY, WHICH I AM SURE IS A LARGER NUMBER OF ACCOUNTS.

totaly agreed on that damn grinder... but what can we do about it.. nothing i think! i only have 7 prof and stop grinding after commando third holo, because that's the way i want my perso. commando and tk master(not and holo), and im worry like u about the credit holo... that a big confusion by this time... still, what can we do nothing... im far from the old man! very far since i learned that there was 8 prof to do....

All questions of the form
- "I ground 17 professions. How much partial holocredit can I expect to get when I arrive at the village? "
(4 trees with a probability of 40%) - "I ground 22 professions and got 3 free trees. Was I lucky or unlucky?"
(Unlucky; 90% of outcomes were better than that.) - "I was halfway through profession 24 when Publish 10 came out. What were the odds that I would have unlocked if I'd finished it?"
(About 43%, but the good news is that you have an 86% chance of getting 5 free branch unlocks)

Yupeee ....we have NEW MEGAGRIND system!!! Aliluya GRINDforever .... now you need grind more and more and also have a stupid limit for 3 week .... devs lost last remains of imagination. And Village quest looks like random botgenerate it. I realy must grind in old system, more fun ....

Look, I'm not saying that the system is perfect, because no system is.
But I'm sick and tired of hearing people say that because they "played the game" they should get just as much credit as those people who spent their time grinding professions.
Everyone knew how to get Jedi in the old system, and that system was to master your holo professions. If you didn't want Jedi, or didn't want to grind professions, that was your choice, and you "played" the game. Other people chose a different path and began grinding to get Jedi.
Now that Patch 10 has been released, all of a sudden people who "played" the game are screaming bloody murder because they don't have a Jedi on patch day because they didn't get enough credit. ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
I grinded 13 or 14 professions, AFTER I went silent. I got burnt out on the grind and decided to "play" the game and wait for the patch to come out. I got 3 free unlocks at the village and I am happy as a clam.
From the very beginning the devs and SOE have made it clear that the path to Jedi would be a long one, so in my opinion if you aren't diciplined enough to work towards a goal, maybe Jedi is not for you.

at least in the 3 week perioud you can cap experience from multiple professions and buy fp to convert

Does anyone know how many badges you have to have to become glowy?? Can you become glowy with only getting the poi Badges??
