I had a slient holocron, and I only got 2 branch unlocks. Before patch 10 I was expecting 2-3 branches, because I heard from TC it was based solely on number of professions. After the patch, I was expecting 5 because TH said only 1 profession left unlocks 5. Changing it to 8 professions... shame on you. If the change was made in patch 9, that's worse because then it was done solely to make the formula work to give me only 2 unlocked branches. I feel, like many others, this undervalues holocrons.

Ok. These updates seem to get more confusing each time. I was on my silent before pub. 10 but wasn't able to figure it out in time. That's fine so I wait and see what this is new publish isgoing todo forme. To my understanding, I will automatically receive a visit before those who weren't as far along as me. However, people who did no holos at all, got a visit before me, already fought the siths and told me they are a jedi initiate already after 3 days. Meanwhile, I finally get my old man visit and now I'm sitting in a field waiting for the siths to come. Ok, because I work during the day and can't spend 20 hours playing the game, I guess I got passed up by the old man initially - whatever - I'll take that. However, I do not think it fair that those who worked hard on the old system get passed up by people who just flew around to get badges and get the "glow" already and are visited before the others who worked their butts off for the past year.

So I just don't understand how this group thing works and this whole business about the 8 master professions? I got my silent on my 4th holo. I thought I only had to do 4 professions and figure out the silent. I thought that's why people did 20+ professions because they were trying to find that "one" silent profession. Where did this 8 prof come from - were things changed somewhere that I missed? So now, I had assumed that I only had one profession remaining (my silent), but now it seems I could have had 4 remaining. Can anyone please clarify this point.

How do I know what group I'm in? Or how many boxes I filled up. It seems from reading this post that I only have 1 maybe 2 slots opened.Does that soundthat correct?

All you seem to care about is having a Jedi, doing your little quests and generally complaining about nothing. I'm gonna break it to you the easy way... being a Jedi sucks. Trust me. If you don't have any patience right now to deal with the fact that maybe you'll have to unlock 1 extra force tree than previously, then you are surely not going to have the patience to grind out the millions of exp that it takes to get any of the level 4 Jedi abilities (e.g. any lightsaber 4, any healing 4, any defender 4, and force power 4). It takes FOREVER to get exp... and BH's will kill you too.

You'll be back in about a month complaining about bounty TEF's or EXP loss from dying or something else.

Cry elsewhere.

Lol the thing is you assume that I dont have the patience to make the xp, trust me I do andI couldnt care less how much time it will take me to have my jedi if the conversion had been done fairly.

The point here is we got shafted by SOE on the conversion process, if you re a fan boy and someone who accept everything without saying a word, I'm sorry for you. I'm paying them for the game and the least we deserve as paying customer is to not be shafted.

TEF and BH mission is part of the game, even more for jedi, it s part of the roleplaying for jedi to not show up every second with their lightsaber to brag about it.

Lastly, If you could actually say something interesting and stop assuming you know better, that would be great, so far you didnt made any valid point.

Go argue somewhere else please and come back when you re decided to stop being a tool

At first, there was 5 hidden prof. You could master 4 by using holocrons and then you had to test your luck to get the 5th one. However, devs changed in our back the number of hidden prof, and it become 8 hidden prof at some time.

Now for the conversion here s the number :

Unlocked between p9 and p10 : 6 unlock

7 hidden prof on 8 : 5 unlock

6 hidden prof on 8 : 4 unlock

5 hidden prof on 8 : 3 unlock

4 hidden prof on 8 : 2 unlock

3 hidden prof on 8 : 1 unlock

2 hidden prof or less : 0 unlock

So basically if you got your silent holocron, you ll recieve 2unlock for sure, then if by luck you mastered other hiddenprof during your grind, you ll recieve one more unlock per hidden prof mastered.

update from prev post

got visit from oldman yesterday, thur 12 noon eastern time

no sith all day and night

this morning, friday 5:45 am loggin in 6am got sith visit (easy kills)

did sith camp, got wp went to vilage.

trained in 5 fs skills freebies for profesion grind (you dont need to convert xp first these are free choose the right options when trying to train)

the training option went away after didnt know what to do so converted all spare xp from evrything i had to fs xp. then logged for server reset.

since i had 5 branches i needed 1 more did a patroll quest for ranged support branch

10 patrolls and i got the branch took a while. go slow on bikes near wp u got to fast an hit a patroll of 8 an u might be lunch lol.

after 6 branches I have left and am resuming normal gameplay while waiting for oldman to visit again and give me the exit quest. after that is finished i believe you unlock and can grind the branch trees an make 2nd character.

important note to all:

make sure ur bikes are repaired before going to the village, I used half my maint pool of bike on 1 branch and its 96%eff. I saw many bikes exploding lol

when i get and finish exit mission i shall post 1 more time, TH asked lol fordetails lol

hope this helps the people behind me, will be back to update after i figure out whats next lol

Hey at least the village is actually part of the star wars EU, i got to give them that. i believe yoda had told a lightning clan member to hold the jedi lore (a jedi training ship crashed on dath) till FS ppl showed up later.

TH, Please Please Explain!

On Test Center the XP conversion was changed from 30:1 Weapon to FSXP to 10:1. And Combat was changed from 3:1 to 1:1. It looks like it is back to 30:1 and 3:1 on Live.

Why would you guys change it on TC and change it back on Live?

man plese everyone stop complaining .... it's a game. i would like to be a jedi but hell i've been in for a year and if i get it ... i get it... if not then i'll play in the lovely star wars universe and just have fun.... if you hologrinded , oh well at least your head of us casual players. man eveyone's worring too much about nothing. so you can't be a jedi yet ... you guys have a lot of anger .... anger leads to hatred etc.... yoda would not be happy...
