Why did the old man appear when I was in the middle of combat and COULDN"T SPEAK TO HIM? You can't converse with NPCs in combat and you can't peace out of combat when there's 5 mobs attacking.
UPDATE.
Damn glad I have two PCs. While I was over here writing up this message, the old man visited again. But this was after having logged out and logged back in. He appeared within 5 minutes of logging in this morning and again when I relogged. I have the crystal. Glad I didn't have to wait 3 days again. Sheesh.

Check your math yo. If you were 80% done before and now you are 2/3 of the way done... then you arecurrently 66.66...% done. That means that you only lost 14% of your total 'doneness'. You are, in fact, crying over spilled milk.

well, I must not have been very clear, so I will pass on your inability to read, think by yourself and do maths.
I have mastered 22 prof, which is 2/3 of the total number of prof so 66,66%. I have mastered my 4 holo which compared to the 5 hidden prof is 80%.
However, by changing the requirement to 8 hidden prof that become only 50% and with their "fair reward" system it s in fact only 33%, so it went from 80% to 33%.
Now I got 3 unlock, so 50% ( not 66%), that means I ve been lucky enough to do a 5th hidden prof during my grinding, however it s still 16.66% from my achievment concerning prof mastered at all and one unlock away.
At the end, I should have been rewarded with more or so 4.5 unlock and I end up with only 3.
I consider the conversion is not fair for me. And it s the case for many other holo grinder

Lol you're really a strange guy, the fact is they announced there would be a new quest system with fair reward. I then decided to stop the grind.
Also you re assuming I wouldnt have done 32. Tell you whatI ve made 22, I could easily have make 32 if I knew I wouldnt be fairly rewarded for my grind. You could call me lazy if I hadnt done anything, but I have so point is moot.
rewarding people on an unknown variable and not even on a 1 on 1 basis is wrong.

Im just a simple guy but if you did 4 holo professions of the potential 8 that they changed it to and you get 3 or the 6 trees done for you doesn't the math add up? 4/8 = 50% 3/6 = 50%. Please explain..

Actually as I saied the conversion isnt on a 1 for 1 basis. If Ihad just 4 hidden prof mastered I would have got only 2 unlock, that is 2/6 for 4/8, but I ve made one more hidden prof during my grind, so thats 5/8 and 3 unlock, 3/6.
As you can see, the conversion isnt fair, you re getting shafted. You can say I cry for nothing, but the way we re rewarded is far from being fairas you re loosing part of your work during the conversion, and I think also the reward should be based on hidden prof mastered or total prof mastered depending on what gives the best reward.
But it seems pointless to argue on this thread as everyone have different mind about howit should have been handled, and many feel the need to call people whiner or crier when you re opinion is no better than other.
