You know what, I'm not one to log on the boards and post a complaint, I don't even like comin in here to read any of this crap, but I'm SEVERELY PO'ed at the latest patch and came to see what is goin on. But Obviously, just like everything else SOE "Fixes" it just gets more **edit**ed up. Honestly, how can I enjoy a game that just gets worse.
I unlocked pre Publish 10 and got a message stating that I would get my jedi after publish 10...well, it's here and my jedi isn't. Instead, I'm lumped with thousands of other players waiting for a freakin old man...what crap...(no offense to anyone who has hologrinded, I commend your work, and we shouldn't have to wait) I am so close to qutting this game it's unreal.
So don't put in writing what you don't plan on backin up SOE!!! and yes, I do havea Screenshot of the Event takin place, and you can clearly read the message. Try and actually FIX something before you start more borked to kingdom come crap. I'm tired of the run around!!

That's actually a great idea IMO. May as well admit it. There are many, MANY people who play this game to be a jedi, and that's what heppense when you ADVERTISE JEDI! If you look at any of the online ads or official screenshots of this game, they're almost all of jedi. Kind of like false advertising mixed with false hope mixed with false answers and promises. If you just made a server or game or WHATEVER like this, you might get rid of all the people complaining about jedi (including myself). Oh yeah and you wouldn't **edit** up the story line so much either, which would please the other people. There's a solution there if you ask me...

great, and here come all the people who are going to pretend that this publish is everything they ever wanted... so bring on the bashing to all the holo grinders because your sorry a$$'s didn't have the dedication to grind for something you wanted to do too. All we here from your type is how unfair it is that holo grinders are getting special attention, well ya know what... damn straight we are, this is OUR patch... now let us vent.

3 days is fine.
3 days I don't have a problem with. I merely want a fair shot. If SOE gives me that, I won't complain and I doubt many others will either.

According to Thunderheart, you MAY be in one of the first groups if you got it when you logged on (and thus qualified before the patch went live). However until he decides to stop being vague nobody knows for sure.

Read this: How many DAYS went by before the old man visited you? thats days, not minutes, seconds, or any other measure of time. Now I personally dont understand why it would take days for the old man to visit you if you mastered all 32 professions, but this is obviously what was intended..... Like it or not :/
Btw, has anyone gotten a visit? I would expect the old man to start showing his face after tomorrows reset, just going on what I have read...
The devs could have stopped this firestorm before it started by saying it would take more than a day after release to get a visit, but hey, its supposed to be the secrets of the force we are dealing with here.

I'm sure this has been asked and I'm sure nobody knows 100%, but....
Does anyone know what my status would be if I fell under these conditions:
The force is strong within me...
I have 17 masters...
I have 62 badges (and I'm still missing the rebel corvette rescue and assassination mission badges)...
When the holocrons were still around I was on my silent one...
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to anyone who helps me out!!!

What has really gotten me upset, and what I dont hink is fair is all day in game, I have heard that the first people that the "Old Man" is gonna visit are the ones who did most of their Holocron Professions and who has Inner Glow, and then work his way down to the ones who Mastered the next least professions and who has inner glow, then onward down the list and so fourth till the ones who did not master any of there Holocron professions but was still able to get Inner Glow by getting the required POI's and badges to attain this great Honor of Inner Glow. What SoE should have done, was turned off the entire Holocron grinding after Publish 9 went LIve, then that would have ended alot of the headache of the ones who complained about Oh I did this many professions and I want to be compinsated for my time and efforts...Blah Blah Blah...Now its a huge cluster of everyone asking. "When is the Old Man gonna come see me ?" Well let me tell ya something, I have been up and on the game since the servers came up at 8:30am cst and just now got offline 9:01pm cst and the "Old Man" never came and saw me. They are saying its gonna take 1-3 days for that to happen, I say rubbish, and I may stand corrected but like myself I did not bother waisting my time to grind holo professions, so I elected to do the Inner Glow the POI and badge way, and I was one of the Lucky ones to get on and do the /check and I had Inner glow so I didn't have to run around getting anything.
So, I say to the ones who were like me, when they logged on and had Inner Glow, we are the true Force Weilders and it may take us longer to get the Old man to come see us. But if you did like i did today and did nothing but grinding xp, we will have gobs of it to turn in for Force Sensitive XP while the others who wanted to master there professions have to go out and grind just as hard for theirs. BOO YAH
