Please read this post. It doesn't say 'Stop grinding and play the game'. It says you may continue to grind for credit.
Lol, if you want to play that game, I ll find ya 2 devs post saying to stop the grind and just play the game

RexxHart Am i right to assume that after getting 24 skill boxes trained you do nothing ? just go about your business and wait for old man again? Did you at least get any message after you trained your skill boxes?

I'm just going by what I heard from TC people. After you get the 6 branches he will visit again and then you have to kill some NPC to get your saber. No, I didn't get a message but I did those wonderful patrols and got squat from them. hahaha

Well, I got my old man visit Wed and the Sith attacked me last night. I got to Dath and the village. I had 10 professions, 85 badges in total. I got one free branch and trained meele accuracy with it. I was able to covert enough points to get novice for the enhanced reflexes and am about 25k short of fs reflex skills to train the first block in survival. Combat xp if maxed at 300,000 gives you 100k of fs experience. Playing a few hours a day on average it will take many months before I can get to Jedi initiate. I like the concept of the village and the quests, but for the average player the conversion rate is way to slim. 3 - 1 across the board would be appropriate and still offer a challenge. But this is still a massive grind with a quest to unlock a tree simple window dressing. All pub 10 does is exchange one type of grinding for another.
I looted a bunch of different resources too. However, they dont stack and take up an awful amount of room in inventories. Are they needed down the road for anything?
Devs please reconsider the exchange rate. I want to get to jedi, but like most of us I cant devote every waking moment to get there.

Also still from JustG, telling us they would post information for hologrinder but nonunlocker, they never did it, they waited till the publish was live to do it.

JUSTG did not tell players to stop grinding, stop taking things out of context, twist things to suit your needsand creating confusion for the community. JustG was just making a statement "why not stop grinding now?" it was completelyup to you to stop or not, JustG however did not say stop grinding.
STOP WHINING ALREADY AND PLAY THE GAME

I'm sorry fan boy but by saying why not stop the grind it involves that the dev tried to screw up us then. He shouldnt have saied that if it could harm player base.
Also in his post he talk of a fair conversion to the new system, where the hell did he got the "fair", it s all but fair
So just shut up noob

People shouldn't be up in arms about when the old man visits or when your attacked by the sith or how much credit you get for the grind. What we should be up in arms about is the fact that you can only do 1 quest per phase...which means that if you want a particular quest and miss it...you have to wait for a full rotation of the village and if you have no unlocks and have to do quests for all six required trees..then it is going to be six months at the least with the current system.
I don't see how this will solve a population problem in the village. If wave1 players go to the village, do the one mission allowed and then have to wait for the next phase to shift...then they will be returning to the village with second and third wave groups 3 weeks later. This seems to me to be a self defeating system. Either the shifts need to be speed up to one week or we should be allowed to take more missions per phase. At the current rate those who wish to become jedi masters can expect to do so sometime after the second coming of christ.
TH, this is some of the better content that the game has seen in awhile...please do not deprive us of it for sake of jedi population concerns. Give us more quest per phase or speed up the shift.

The Conversion is more the fair and the devs bent their backs trying to satisfy everyone by making it easier than ever to unlock. you can pretty much unlock in a day now if you want to, so AKI44 you are just a cry baby who is upset at the system for not handing him a JEDI NOW.
