The Devs and SOE know that whatever they say, will not stop the tide of anger that is against them right now.
Cause the only way to stop that anger is to postpone JTL and that just is NOT going to happen.
The Corr Summit is a ruse and total BS. WHY do they need to fly the Corr to Austin to hear their/our fixs for the game?
We have been posting these fixs for the LAST SIX MONTHS cause TH asked us too everytime someone asked about a problem.
I can go to ANY forum and within ten minutes name the top ten problems for EACH profession and the DOZENS of remedies for each problem JUST by reading the first page of each profession.
This summit is SMOKE AND MIRRORS to try and placate us.
There will be no response to this thread, not today, not tomorrow not ever.
They will simply let us rant and rave in here, hoping we eventually fizzle away.
They will talk to the Corr. about the CB in August, then tell them exactly what we already know, Nothing will happen until after October.
There are QUICK FIXS that the Devs could put LIVE ToMORROW that would make ALOT of players happy.
But the simple fact that they are postponing the simple fixs until LATE AUGUST after they have the Corr. Summit at the earliest shows me that they do not even intend to work a DAY on SWG until JTL is live.
Most likely we will not see TH or another Red Name post in a non-locked thread for several weeks.
PEX has been deleting each and every post in the fan fest forum that has anything to do with this topic and he will not answer those VERY few he lets remain.
Do not expect any answers from anyone with a Red name.
At best, the Corr will have info when they return in August, to SOE and the Devs THIS is the best they can do for US.
So, cancel if you are going too, stay if you want.
I personally haven't decided which way I am going to go.
But don't pin any hopes on an answer from TH or the devs.
It is a pipe dream.

A lot of people are in the same boat, perhaps waiting for a response to make a decision. According to your post, our only way of "winning" this is to hope that more cancellations occcured than they planned for? If that's the case...it just sucks...situation just stinks

Why are any of us expecting anything different from this game...last year they announced (out of the blue) to the beta community that the game was going to ship in 2 weeks, the boards and posts back then were filled with outcry from the testers that the game was no where near ready for release. Did they listen then....
Ask anyone that beta tests on the Test Center, they regularly tell the dev team that a patch or hotfix isn't ready....are they listened too? (exception to that rule was the jedi revamp....why was that)
So is anyone really surprised that JTL will be shiped out ready or not come October.
This is apparently all that anyone working on this game can see....

I'm sad to say, everyone on this forum is right. I've held out, waited, listened to the empty promises and been disappointed time and time again. I'm changing my accounts to 1month at a time. SOE, you have 2 months, as far as I'm concerned. By that time, if I have not seen the combat balance at the very freakin least on test center, you are going to be less 2 accounts. I'm sorry it had to be this way, but if a business in my town acted as you have, I wouldn't buy their **edit** either.

He's right.
I quit for 5 months, and when I cameback all my chars and stuff were still there, just my house was gone.
Just make sure your valuable stuff is in the bank or your inventory, just incase ur house goes...or dump a years worth of maintianence in your house, but I'd still put the rare stuff in your safety deposit box.
This is what I've done, i cancelled my account and dont plan on coming back till next year, if ever.

Still waiting for a response and will continue to post, I've been sending info to game review sites all day today as well, as many as I could find. Hopefully if we stir the **edit**storm we can get this insane idea reversed.

How in gods green earth do you expect anyone to believe you guys? Half your posts are lie's. The other half, I trully believe you have no idea what your talking about. Its really quite sad.
My 3 accounts are cancelled as of this morning.
Delaying the CB and GCW revampis the last straw. (something I personally have been looking forward to since it was announced.)
You guysdont haveanything done on the CB, and I doubt you will get anything done this year. You will spend 3 or 4 months fixing what you dont get finished for JTL after you release it, then another 3 or 4 months piddling around with core designs that should have been working at SWG's release.
Im voting with my dollars.
Fix the "Core" system... then maybe, just maybe, I will think about buying JTL.
