Amazing isnt it TH? 96 pages and still going strong. BUT are you actually reading ANY of this or are you still just gonna ignore us again? SOE seems to treat every player like a child. Im not a child and I pay my monthly subscription out of my own hard earned cash. So tell me... why is it I have been shafted in pub10 like so many other PAYING customers?
Lemme tell you a little about myself and my situation...
I have been playing a year now and have mastered 19 proffessions, 3 of which were holocron proffesions. I have also earned 99 badges. I finaly got to the village today expecting atleast 4 free branches (as told by our friend TH) but no! I find out I have only 2 free branches. Thats half what I should have. Umm maybe you've changed it and not told anyone? I checked with a friend who had the same badges as me but had only mastered 10 proffesions... she had 4 free branches. No TH can you explain that one to me? Let me guess I didnt master in time? I did master with a smile on my face? Please tell me and stop ignoring this feedback. I pay my money to enjoy this game... NOT to get shafted without an explination and have to spend the next 9 weeks in some stupid village doing quests I shouldn't have to.

the number of branches you get is not dependant on number of badgesit is dependant on number ofholo professions you mastered

I have not seen the Siths, I am still waiting for them. Rumour has it that they are not hard to kill (unbuffed is fine), that is all I know.

Wow, that sorta sucks? How many professions did you grind? Remember people, once you hit silent you had 1-4 MORE silent professions to go before you unlocked. So if you did your known professions (Artisan, brawler, medic and Squad Leader) you still have your mystery ones to do...So if you did 18 professions, you could have really only done 4-5 out of 8 (If unlucky)
Just trying to lessen some of the annoyance out there

Would it really have been so hard to say that people who did one holocron profession get a "free" visit from the geezer (he needs a name--I suggest Phil) and that people who did two get half a branch completed or something?
Most of the other problems are getting sorted out--the devs claim to be fixing the lag problems, and Phil is visiting all those people he wasn't visiting before. But those of us who did one or two holocron professions and then chose not to grind after publish nine are still getting nothing for our efforts. I stopped to enjoy my holocron professions, and now I'm being punished for it. I don't want much--I realize that two holocrons wasn't very far in the path to a jedi. However, since I'm not being compensated for the work I did under the old system, I'm now back at the starting line, which just isn't fair.

Wow guys why did you make the Holo grind system 8 proffesions. This whole time people unlocked with 4 and you guys changed it to 8? Didnt you ever feel to see that maybe everyone wants and deserves to be a jedi? This is discomforting to me greatly. Its a trust issue and a issue of raw fairness. Ill post more after I gather more information. At the time being I am not happy about the constant changes. Its rather unfair.

well they changed the system after pub 6....the real error in the devs thinking was the institution of holocrons in the first place....when the system was "master 5 professions to get jedi" and the method was still a secret, jedi were few and very far between.....however the devs said that people were not progressing towards jedi fast enough and instituted the holocrons....begin massive grinding and economic chaos.....once the secret was out everyone and their sister started grinding....enter devs " OH CRAP..they figured it out.....quick we have to do something or were gonna be swamped in jedi!!!!".....thus pub 6 happened and they instituted the higher silent levels...but they left holocrons in the game......so now they felt obliged to change the system to correct THEIR error....

See what you folks don't realize is you need to quit whining. They are meeting a huge request from people and that is population control. They are pissing people off so bad that they are making them quit left and right. You'll soon have the people who grinded their arses off to become Jedi that will be bored and quit or have no one left to show off to. So either way everyone will win in the end. SWG will be a fragment of what it was and people will be much more happier playing WoW or COA or something that is much better than this crapper.

I was in the automatic inviye group, all glowing
got visit today Thur around noon time
its 8pm hrs later yes i did log off for 2hrs and no sith visit yet
this is crazy i'd rather grind a profession at least i felt like i was accomplishing something
oh and i know 2 people who were in groups 2 and 4 today who got a visit from the oldman
looks like the oldman has been jacked up to vsist evryone and its the sith that keeps you waiting and waiting and waiting.....
Im bored outta my head, this is not content or a star warsy feel its total boredom on that note whats so mystical about waiting and waiting and waiting all they got was alotta server overload from 1000 people waiting for 2 days lol
