KB, I haven't been checking up but what is the latest on CoH?


Given the latest announcement that "the Combat Rebalance is far too difficult to complete so we're gonna do something easier" That always looked a fun alternative playing SWG had made me forget all about it but now, if there is an opputunity to play an MMO where the product is close to finished, count me in.


Although, TBH, with Pub8 giving us new colours and accessories for our hair, I can't see too many games competing with that sort of content. Can you? What were you thinking there SOE? What should be done for the ID profession? Should we give it some use with in the game?...No, wait!..Lets give them the ability to dye peoples hair bright colours...and, and, and RIBBONS! Loved to have been a fly on the wall in that brain-storming session.


Hey, with the possibility of Ribbons and Pigtails and maybe Tailors being able to make really short tartan skirts...Chimaera could see the FK running around dressed as SchoolGirls while they enforce Imperial law....Ok, maybe I might stick around for a bit longer.

This amazes me, I wonder if I will stay with SWG until this summer when my account expires, I just bought the damn game and I am allready regretting doing it when you read throu the forums. A change like this NEEDS to be fleshed out and explained in detail.

I have to agree, well over a week and still no response about the combat changes, wondering if the dev's have even read any of this thread. I just want to know if getting hit everytime during combat is intended and if healing using a stimpack was changed as it seems to me like it takes longer while in combat.

I this melee/ranged defense mod mess was a part of the combat rebalance and it is now on the back burner, get we can some answers if this part will be rolled back. I have 94 melee defense and am getting hit around 90%, i dont expect 95% misses mind you but come on, why have them if they dont work right. I feel for the pure BH's out there right now.

Still no anwsers, guess I shouldnt of expected any response from SWG. Isn't it fun not knowing the rules


I just cancelled my acount yesterday, Bye Bye after 5-6 months of too many beatings with the Nerf bat! This isn't smurfvill where everyone is the same. Since they given away the Holocrons the economy has gone down hill! Everyone closing up shop to go for Jedi, now that it's hard to even come by good equipment SWG thinks they found a good solution. Lets not give the players a chance to be uber fighters anymore even if the spend all the skills points and effort to do so! This way they can take up a boring job like making armour all day too! Problem solved lol. And btw, we just wanted to tease you with the force with the free Holo, but why not play for another half year and master everything so maybe you can become a Jedi.

Was the downgrade in bleed damage supposed to be this drastic? It doesn't appear to be just compensating for resists, I land a 700 point bleed after resists and it ticks off for around 100 damage each bleed tick.

SO I'm out killing stuff to try and get TK novice...getting missions that give me highwaymen to kill...they con even to me but for some assinine reason they get dizzy AND knockdown and I do not...it sure would be nice that if I can't do it yet neither should they be able to.
