So what happens if I want to challenge a dark jedi to gain rank and he either avoids the duel or plays totally different times to me?

Yeah your right they can change what they want, but maybe you forgot about that little thing called customer satisfaction. I pay to play this game just like everyone else and when your paying for something you have the right to voice your opinions so if you dont want to hear people complain about it stay out of the forum.

Do we really need an entire publish for the conversion process? It might have been difficult to create, but how long could it possibly take to switch over to the new system? Soon the holo grind will go away, and then there will be no slots opening untill Pub 10. Bahhh, I say. Can we get at least a rough estimate for when Pub 10 will come. I know that the average time from one publish to the next is about two months, but that seems unnecessary for this endeavour. Make it quick, or at least define what you mean by credit for profs. I can't decide to keep grinding (boring) or just stop playing untill Publish 10.

I have a question for you =) I play on the flurry server and I have a good friend there Pharaun-salawho has gone through nearly (if not) 30 professions trying to unlock his jedi. Now after he has gone through all of that, i also heard that he will not be able to get his jedi if he doesn't unlock it before publish 9. Is this true? He has been through so much trying to get something that only took some 10 profs to unlock. This is upsetting. He deserves a chance to unlock his jedi! He's been working too hard on it for way too long for it to just be snatched away from him. =( please let me know if this is true or half true! I just don't understand the whole thing and only know what I have heard from other players. TY!! =)

After mastering a few professions myself and realizing that i will not get my jedi slot before publish 10 i'm wondering whether or not to continue......

"Yes. As other professions have requirements so do the Force Discipline skills. A player must purchase 6 full lines (24 skill boxes) of Force Sensitive skills to qualify to purchase Force Disciplines." What i get from this is... we still have to master skills? and then purchase these skill boxes?

"There is a bit of code on each character that tracks the raw number of professions a player has completed and whether or not that specific profession was required to unlock their Jedi slot. In short, yes we do know how many professions each player has completed and whether or not it was required to unlock the player's Jedi slot." Alright... so you know which professions we've mastered but does that count towards theseskill boxes after publish 10? Will we be able to purchase them when 10 goes live or do we have to master the skills after publish 10 in order to be able to purchase them?

"Players who have completed many profession masteries will be ranked according to how many professions they have completed and based on that information, they will be able to rapidly advance through the "Jedi Trials" Whats this credit you speak of?

And anyone know anything about the Jedi Trial quest(s)? That'd be great to know about too....

If anyone knows anything please leave a post!

Sounds like your friend is in the same boat as I am. I unlocked the day AFTER Publish 9 went Live, therefor, my main character will become Force Sensitive reach Padawan Status when Publish 10 goes live. Same hold true for your friend. If he unlocks after Pub 9 & before 10, the character he's grinding with will become a Padawan as of the Live date of Publish 10 (currently no ETA)

Hope this helps!

1) I personally think you all need to either leave the game orplay the game and shutup.

2) Try to remember that this is a game not a story so the devs dont have to follow the real story if they dont feel like it.

3) This is their game and they can change it to how they like, ifthey want to put in a dancing bear they can.

HUH?

1 - Wrong. If that were the case, the game would never improve.

2 - Wrong again. The game is based on the story and timeline as stated many times on these forums by devs and designers alike.

3 - Strike 3, wrong a 3rd time. They cant change it how they like if it goes contrary to the wishes of the majority of the player base or the future player base or perception of how the game theme should be played out. This is proven by the fact that the user community is constantly asked for feedback on what we think of a publish, revamp, balance or future publish.

Your hostility toward freedom of expression of opinion is disturbing.

TH,

What is the "compensation" method for those of us that have completed multiple masteries in our search for force sensitivy before Pub 10?

It's a simple question; please answer it.

I don't like pointless grinds.
Thank you for reintroducing decay!!!
I like a complex, immersive world simulation, full of possibilities, challenges and roleplay.
I want a player driven, crafting-based economy.

We've been talking about that quite a bit over the past few days. As soon as things are nailed down and once we get through the combat information, I'll be able to post regarding whats going on.
