What is working for me with the un-repair bug is:


Store the vehicle and walk to the garage. Then generate the vehicle (don't enter it), repair it, and immediately store it again. Iwait a few minutes before I generate the vehicle again and I generate it in a spot that's away from the city but still within the city limits. So far all of the repairs I've done like this, at Coronet and other cities, have stuck.

my biggest problem is that 8 out of 10 times when I go to get of of my swoop bike I completely lock up. sometimes this is for a few seconds, sometimes for a minute or 2, and sometimesI have to completely kill the SWG process...

My vehicle also tends to lock my computer up when I exit it (and several other members of my PA report the same). Sometimes it recovers after 30 secs or so, sometimes I have toturn my computer off (can't even end starwars process). Has caused me to die twice now. Quite annoying. Anyway, I've noted this happening on naboo and rori, and it seems to have just started happening on the 5th or 6th.

I've been having this same problem but its been happening for awhile. Im not sure if it happens on other planets but Im on Naboo most of the time and notice it there

EAX vehicle soundis still messed up. You'll hear hissing noise from time to time. Not sure if it's by design but it's annoying after a while.Everything soundsnormal with Dolby or Miles audio.

Here's my laundry list of bugs and vehicle suggestions. My apologises if they've been mentioned before:


BUGS



  • Using the mouse produces odd exit/enter vehicle bugs (i.e. the radial menu pops up and Enter is listed, while I'm still on my vehicle. When I bring up the Radial menu again the Exit displays. When I want to enter my vehicle, Exit is displayed the first time. And on the second time the Enter displays)

  • Vehicles can be repaired to full HAM by leaving them unstored and using a Starport or Shuttle.

  • Players sporadically disappear on bikes. I've seen this bug happen in the past before Vehicles.

SUGGESTIONS



  • Create a Vehicle/Mounts category tab in the Options menu and fill it with the following:


    • Give us the ability to turn off Vehicle sounds. In sound cities the noise is unbearable.

    • Give us the ability to down-grade quality-levels while riding a Vehicle to speed up load times. This is only when you ride a vehicle.

    • Give us the ability to auto-select the nearest non-player or playercity.

Just thought of another bug...



  • Vehicles "stick" in a certain direction and produce an effect of the driver driving sideways or backwards

Possible solution for future combat vehicles is too force them to slow down and print to screen "diverting engine energy to shield (and guns if fitted) and increase the vehicles damage resistance slightly. This would work well for all, but speeder bikes (swoops just go too quick for guns). for speeder bikes i would suggest a warning message staihng that this will make you vehicle highly vunerable and reduce the damage resistance. this would make things interesting as whilst on a speeder bike kiting would be possible one hit from anything more powerful than a starting weapon or a durni would destroy the vehicle. Hence palyers would have to make the choice between fast, but vunerable or slow, but can pack a punch

When entering Dearic, Talus from any Northern entrance and you move into the city, say to the cantina. Once you get out of the vehicle it warps out to the entryway you entered the city. This doesn't happen if you enter the city from any other direction though, but does it 100% of the time from the North.


That is on Lowca Server.

Two things:


1. Dismounting from a speeder often causes me to appear 30m (approx) from where I dismounted. If I stand still, often I will be warped back to the point of debarkation. If I move, I'm left 30m from the vehicle.


2. Vechicles can be repaired to 100% condition by simply leaving them at a starport, going to a different planet, and then storing/calling them again. Although I don't do this intentionally, I frequently am running like h3ll to catch the shuttle and forget to store. Not trying to be paranoid here, but with the recent bannings for multi-slicing exploits, I'm concerned that this would be considered an exploit or offense that would warrant disciplinary action.


I also had the problems with the auto-store feature during transit. One time it dumped me into the bay far, far from land. That was funny.

-Long Distance looks like a prop it stores after long rides.


-Sometimes if your lucky it does not store on long rides but on the end of it ,when you get of your bike it stores.


- Bike is broken !?!?! ( fly with shuttel store and you got new one )

here is another bug for you.



when you get off your bike. you warp away sometimes a long way from your bike.


you can then either stay there or really confusing return to your proper location. of course you could be buried in the bhills like i am alot of the time

Here here, crashing occurs frequently when exiting vehicles. I have actually switched back to Spat Travel for a less bugged mode, but then I have to deal with ghosting still.
