The old man visited me.I waited 33 days for that (unlocked the 08/28)

I read that i must do intro quest, exit quest and padawan trials, to unlock my second character, andget asaber. Lol, i don't know why, I thought i had allready unlocked when i got the message from swg system thatI "begin to feel atuned to the force"

I read that a must wait 1 - 3 days for the old man. same for the siths then? and again 1 - 3 days so that the old man come again to give theexit quest? This quest is pretty hard, need a good group... and then starts the quests of the trials. Quite long in fact... so 2 months after my unlock i may have my second account, nice !

I miss something, i unlocked allready, why must i do the new system quest and unlock a second time? Why did'nt you gived us what we allready won?

Why didI still say amen when you dont give me the reward i won more than a month ago?Is it acceptable that you lied long ago, saying you did not increased the number of hidden professions?that was good for the game? so, if it s good for the game, it s ok to lie? when you ll make annoucment in the future, should i question myself if what you are sayin is true, or if it s another good lie done for the game? You also said that we will get our second character at the jedi initiate in the new system. yesterday you changed that and now you re sayin we will have to wait for the padawan. This was also a good lie?

this is my feedback : changing rules and always push our rewards latter is disgusting me. If you change the rules because the game needs it, make the conversion Fair. Increasing the number of hidden prof was unfair, andthis post p9 conversion, if we can call that a conversion, is absolutly not fair.

It cracks me up when I read about everyone saying that if the old man doesnt visit them today, etc. then they are cancelling their subscription. Who are you kidding? You have been grinding for months, now you will quit after 2 days of waiting? LOL. Here is how it will go:

Day 1 - Getting pissed. Old man hasn't visited.

Day 2 - Really mad now. Still no Old man. Goes to forum to rant.

Day 3 - Server up now. Still no visit from old man. Going to forum to threaten to quit.

Day 4 (or 5,6,7, or 8) - Old man visit. Happy as can be. Renews account for another year.

If you are unhappy, fine. If you want to threaten to quit, fine. Just keep in mind that most of us plus SOE know that you will not quit now, so close to a jedi character that you have been grinding towards for months.

Is there a way I will get to

glowing?

I have other players telling me I need

to do this and that but most of the

things they say to do, require combat.

Need to know if non-combat players

were figured into the equation somehow.

Woot, got visited last night as I was finishing up a few things before logging off for the night. Today I was attacked by the 2 sith guys, easy kills. So, off to kill the rest of them and then to the village.

ok here goes, i got a visit off the old man yesterday and he gave me the crystal, i logged off coz i had to get up early the next day. When i logged back on today i was killing some corsec at the POI on corellia when 2 sith attacked...to say i was excited was an understatement..i killed them easily enough and looted 2 items off the corpses...1 was some wind energy crystal and the other a waypoint disk. This was it i though.....until i tried to use the disk to access the waypoint only to be confronted with this message "You must first loot that object before extracting any information out of it"

PLEASE please help me TH, what do i do now? is this me in FS quest limbo forever or can you fix it?

I agree with the last post. I grinded out 17 profs and while doing so a friend of mine got lucky on his 9th and unlocked before Pub 9. I figured that I would have a good chance to unlock around 20 profs since many people unlocked there. Now knowing they upped it from 5 to 8 makes it almost double as hard to unlock. I feel that if you have 5 or maybe even 6 of your holo/hidden profs done that you should get padawan status. The new peeps that wanted to wait for the Pub 10 and didnt grind.....let them do the quests and take 6 months...I already spent 6 months grinding and now I prob have to wait two months for village phases if I am lucky. I don't see how it is fair to have the people who play many hours of SWG punished by making them wait for village phases to occur inorder to allow the casual gamer to compete. I think it's a bad concept. The badge thing doesnt seem to be a great idea though it will only take a person a few days to get the glow status after doing 100 lame theme park missions that I had to be drunk to bear to do and then they will start the long wait for the old man and village crap. I understand that SWG makes money from subscriptions and for them making us wait is making them more money. However, I think more people would play if it was fairer and they would make more than they are. I think that if they make padawan easier to do then there will be , at first, a huge to large influx of jedi into the game. However, it will balance out after BH take them out a few times and they see how hard it is to get exp and that they lose it when they die. Also, the world won't work with jedi alone. They need things and others have to make them and there will be many hybrid chars and probably many people with two or more accounts to keep their pure jedi going. I see it as a win for SWG money wise. I mean, we are the customer so make us happy and we will make you money. I think the key is to let anyone that wants to use the damn light saber and have some fun! Ok, I will go to bed now after waiting for the old man for few hours.

I just got into the village i have 9 proffessions done2 of which were holos that i know ofbut never really ground them, was glowy at server up on tuesday and I have 3 free unlocks!

Does anyone know the different stages of "glowy"? So far I have heard of "slight glow" and "inner glow".

It would be nice to know what they are and what they mean.
