Well, i have mastered all my holo proffessions, i did 3 theme parks and i got 72 badges and i still only have a faint sense of the force, what the hell do i need to do get get glowing? There r not many more badges to get besides the race tracks and proffession badges, anyone got any clues, im out of ideas and am not sure what to do now.

I know a guy that got the glow on the day of patch 10, did 18 professions and was visited by the old man last night.
I did 31 professions, OPENED my slot before patch 10 and have not seen the old man. Based on what TH said he is completely full of crap PERIOD. His post about groups that would get a visit was a complete lie.

Why would he have lied in a way that would obviously anger a gret number of players ? That'd be plain stupid. I'd rather bet their system isn't working as intended, or worse, not working at all, which would mean they've spent time developing it for nothing. Which is also stupid anyway.

Rastor, perhaps he was better than you at picking which professions to master 
Side note, when you all are saying "visited" "not visited", you may want to list your server so that others know about how long it is taking for their server as it would likely be different based on the number of people that qualified for each group on THAT particular server.

Well ok, so the old guy showed up. The next gate seems to be the Sith. They seem to be herding us through a little at a time. When I did this on TC it worked a lot smoother. No, not TC2, lol, that was a joke and didn't even reflect what happens on Live servers.
Been waiting hours for the Sith to show up and sofar nothing. Cmon do they want this crystal or not?

Well the old man visited me on day 3.Let's just hope it doesn't take another 3 days for the siths to jump on me hehe.

Just play like you use to play andhe will come to you. The load balancing is in the 1-3 days ?I think 3 days was the time to have everybody visited (we are in day 2, not in day 3).
I flamed with a post too, i'll give it a try and see what's going on. But i still beleive that a little more communication would be appreciated by lot of ppl there. Doubt is the problem, just say "u will be visited" to ppland they will be fine. Leaving them in doubt is not cool of a respectable CS.
As i understood, old man is just a very little step, long road to be a Jedi after that...

Well, after 14 hours of waiting, on day #2, the Force Fairy finally visisted me.
Oddly enough, the old manvisited me dead in the center of Coronet... What's this stuff about the wilderness? TH, anyone? Misinformation?Anyway, I have my crystal, now to await those pesky, pesky Sith.

Everyone needs to calm down a bit and be constructive.I know it's like waiting and extra day to open your Christmas presents and I can sympathize with those who have worked very hard to earn their force sensitivity, however, everyone has a different style of playing and we should be respectful.
I got my visit from the old man on 9/1 (~2000 CST). I mastered 4 holos previously and I'm guessing maybe 2-3 hidden profs. I have all POIs, all theme parks except imp, both warrens, trivial librarian, 2 races, 2 story arcs, and 2 corvette missions. I had the "inner glow" immediately after pub 10.I do want to complete the force quests, but I'm not letting it get in the way of my typical game play and just did my usual thing. I was visited after leaving a shuttle in a player city. Now I'm helping a couple of friends to get their "inner glow".
Some advice (for what it's worth). Never take a day off for pub release, things never go right and the traffic is always increased-very laggy.

Did you not read my post? I unlocked post 9 he did not. What difference does it make who picked better? He didn't open his slot post 9..

seems the old man is spawning like a plauge just dont forget about waiting for the siths
just beacuse my old man came to me changes nothing even if the siths spawned 1 min after would not change the fact that you handled the pub9/10 unlocker's with disrespect..
