TH, or anyone else that knows for certain just wanted to confirm. The guide lines given are based on the new 8 required Professions or the old 5 required?So if 8 profession then anyone that did there 4 holocrons would have 2 Force Sensitive branches granted and be in group 3 at minimum?

1 profession remaining: 5 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
2 professions remaining: 4 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
3 professions remaining: 3 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
4 professions remaining: 2 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
5 professions remaining: 1 Force Sensitive branch will be granted
You will be granted access to the village…
No professions remaining: Old Man
2 professions remaining: Old Man
2 professions remaining: Group 1
3 professions remaining: Group 2
4 professions remaining: Group 3
5 professions remaining: Group 4

Finn man you just crack me up!! I too can see the scrutiny of the ordeal myself. Now you know my situation, and I really hate myself at this point but the saying goes I had to do it at the time. So I hope the old man visits you b4 long and I hope I can get glowing b4 long to at least join u in the challenges ahead of us

What TH said there doesnt make sense to me I should be in group 2 but I am in the village, unless ofcourse that since I was glowing at server up I automaticly got in

Sorry to say that SirMesser, but this info is based on the OLD 8 PROFESSIONS SYSTEM. The system to become a jedi was changed and we players were never informed about that. So basically, the "5 professions remaining" means that you had to have done 3 holoprofessions.

Just logged in ran from home to shuttle 200m got visit from old man
Glowing before 10 arrived
17 profs done
3 holos that I know of

I think a command needs to be added to check what group ur in because i haven't got a clue got glow 1 hour after pub 10 and only done 6 profs and 3 of them where holo (silent on 4th)

Does anlyone know how many badges u have to have to get the old man? Can i be visited with only the poi badges? If i have to do theme parks how many do i need? I'm new so where are the theme parks?

Sorry Lordunix those are the only glows I've heard of so far. I haven't see a list yet but I'll post if I find out.

Reason I ask is my friend did the /check and his reported back a slight glow. I did the /check and got inner glow. Can you tell me what those 2 mean?

Ok, again i have to tell this to another person. Do not tell me or anyone else how to play this game. We all pay the same price. Also, how did you master your profs? Did you not grind somewhat? So by your logic, you should quit. Some ppl are just so ill informed, it makes me sick. I did 14 profs. Yes i grinded them, but don't assume that i have not been playing the game, just because i grinded profs. This is true for all grinders. They all play the game too. They just wanted a jedi, so they could "play" the game to it's fullest. Oh, and as far as helping the community, if it was not for the grinders, driving the economy everytime they had to do a new prof, then alot of other ppl would not be able to play, or make as much creds as they did from the grinders, thus, the economy would be weaker, as we will find out soon. And for you getting more credit for not grinding, and "playing" as you call it, you must be joking. Here is an example of how dumb your logic is "You say to your teacher, when you did not write any tests, hey teacher, i should be rewarded with a passing grade, even though i did not write any of the tests, i was in all the classes, i socialized, i listened, i had fun, so pass me. See how ridiculous this sounds, that is how you sound
Grinded? How about ground?
The whole premise of this game is to Role Play and to be immersed in the Star Wars Saga. Grinding does nothing to support this. AFK dancers are one of the worse examples, the cantina is a joke. You used to be able to go socialize and have a good time in a cantina and now it is all spam with auto join messages. Medics, DOcs and CMs are another fine example. You use to be able to go to a med center and get healed from battles or hunting. Now you can hardly get their attention cause your little damage is not worth their time because they have tumblers who are AFK racking up damage and giving them tons of xp. Now granted I did my dancing xp afk but i did it in my towns cantina and did not spam the coronet cantina to death. If I went to Coro or Theed to dance I was there talking to people immersing myself in the game. I did my med xp with a friend who was tumbling but I went to a out of the way med center and did it alland he was not afk and niether was I.
As far as the economy I was here long before speeders were affordable and armor was everywhere and frankly the game was better. You had to work as a team to take down even some of the moderate creatures. This game is supposed to be a RP game and a team work game not a afk go to fort tusken and steal all the kills toget xp or geno caves and steal all the kills to get xp game. Until you have spent an afternoon at TUsken playing tag in the caves with 6 or 7 others while waiting for spawns do not tell me you have played the game cause all you are is a grinder who thinks the jedi is the end all and to be honest it will be the end all of the game cause they are out of control. Unless you are a jedi you can not do anything anymore cause the hog all of the content. Go to the Geno cave or the Jinda cave and Jedi are taking everything leaving nothing fo rthe groups that want to have fun and enjopythe content.
