Do me a favor. Make sure Jedi can't exploit this to avoid BH.

BHs have droids that will tell them if their mark is online and even where they are. Friends list is not a BH tool...they have droids for that.

Honestly BHs using the friends list is cheap if you ask me...they get to know when their mark is online without using a droid. Jedi (and all players) should be able to be invisible on friends lists....the BHs will have to launch a droid to see if their mark is huntable.

Jedi dont exploit - only BH - SO we now will have to take mission release droid to check to see if the Jedi it online - great - Make me waste more time on droids....Next you will remove Jedi names from missions so we can not ask them if they are on line...This just gets better and better

Also, due to buffs and armor, you all shouldprobably consider almost doubling the HAMs on most Stormtroopers, Nightsisters, City Guards, NPCs in general, etc. etc.in this game (probablyx1.5 on all NPC HAMs). All NPCs (with a few exceptions) are very easy to kill.

That's the ticket, screw the wookiees.

I didn't screw the wookiees... the SWG designers dida year ago.

I'm hoping **FIGURED CROSS IN A BIG WAY** that we'll see Wookiee full-body armor protection soon... I'm not talking 20% resists either... I'm talking letting Wookiees have a couple of options that put them on par with advanced composite and advanced ubese armor. (I have a Wookiee character and a Zabrak character).

I guess we'll have to see what the developers deliver to the Wookiees in the next couple of weeks. I can only imagine.

I love "no edit" option on these designer's posts.... also, I love interruptions when I'm posting.

  • Actually, this is a privacy issue that is quite beyond the control of Sony. If you want to be able to KNOW when someone else isusing his computer to access a game, in the privacy of his own home, you're gonna have to change some real life laws....

The inability to shield your actions from observation was a legal flaw that Sony needs to fix.

    /sigh

FYI, all I was saying was make sure droids still work if you give people the option to appear offline.

    Here is my proposal.

Homes right now currently lack any real storage space to make every room in a home spectacular. With all the new lighting sources the amout of items that can be placed in a home is even more limited.

I suggest allowing people to purchase additional blocks of storage in their home up to 3 additional blocks.

I'll use the medium as my example. Currently, the medium homes can store 150 items. So let people purchase blocks of 75 for 5-10 cr/hr. This will give those of us who like decorating more space and give Sony another money sink. It has the added benefit of making it so that people don't have to have 2nd or 3rd homes just to store items in.

Just my thoughts and thank you for your time.

Hey TH how about taking a walk over to the DE forum and talking to us about our armor issue?

Back again with a few more.

BH - now all BH's are obsessed with hunting jedi how about we relieve a bit of stress by adding a BH bazaar type terminal where us the players can put bounties on other players heads.

Bounty Hunter specific missions working for Bobba Fett, Jabba and The Empire. For completing these missions BH would receive a trophy rather than a badge which they would be able to display in their homes perhaps in a nice display case. Also as gifts they could be given polished skulls to adorn their houses too.

Musician - I mentioned previously about juke boxes in player cantina's. Why not allow composers to create music data disks for use in these juke boxes. Owners could charge between 1-5 credits for the use of the juke box.

Smuggler - Dropping your cargo at the first sign of Imperial trouble appears to be a dangerous thing to do in the Star Wars movies. How about some smuggler only Jabba, Lady Valerian etcmissions where faliure to complete the task would place that Smuggler's name onto the BH missions list.

Not sure if this has ever been discussed before...

There are a couple of things I have noticed: no one uses Stimpak A'sbecause they have the same prereq as StimB's and most every PvPer has novice medic.

A while back, the devs said they didn't want everyone to be forced to have the same template to compete in PvP; would this include forcing everyone to have the same novice non-combat profession? In order to keep everyone in PvP from also being a novice medic and give StimAs a reason for existing, should we drop the prereq for using StimA to nothing so that everyone can use them?

I don't know if it is too late in the combat balance development to even consider this as it would give a great many people 15 extra skill points to use (about 1 full branch).

    Just a thought.

I am little confused as to how SOE is throwing out these publishes. A publish is pushed out, people find bugs, but then SOE begins work on the next publish. Does work on the bugs from previous publishes happen? How about instead of publish 8, why dont you take a month and do nothing but BUGS. Take the top 10 from each profession, fix the bugs, fix the bugs on some of the quests at different POI's. I think you would make some people happy, not all (can never do that) but at least some.
