The Bounty Hunter Intellect Spawn is bugged on some servers such as my own Valcyn. I know your working on it already though. As for the weapon delay it is not really that big of a deal. I think the change was just fine. Its still entirely possible to switch weapons in combat at a reasonable speed.


Lastly on the issue of Jedi TEF's. I think removing them was a great change. It certainly has opened up the game alot more for Jedi players. Personally I feel all that is needed is simply to put a multiplyer on visibility if Jedi fight in cities. That would keep us from showing off in cities but still allow us to enjoy playing the game without being randomly ganked by anyone who passes by.


Lastly as for Jedi Robes. Jedi dont like the fact that they give us little protection in return for taking away our Armor. Non-Jedi dont like them because Jedi wear them everywhere. LOL


I would suggest giving Cloaks to the general public that everyone can wear be implemented. Jedi could put these on over our Robes to make ourselves a little less obvious while still enjoying the bonuses the Robes give underneath. As for the no Resists. Did the team consider the proposal to elminate the Defense tree an spread its mods evenly throughout the profession? Making a few points of Jedi toughness being granted by each skillbox similar to Force Power Regen? That would give us a layer of natural armor relative to our level an would eliminate the need to add Resists to Robes.

The only thing the jedi tef removal did was allowing jedis to take over POIs, cantinas, whatever they want. Maybe the new BH changes will be enough to make them stop showing off, but I doubt it. Jedis usually have a support system in place - meaning a PA backing them, bodyguards, or their personal doc bot.

No, that's what Bounty Hunters are there for.


Now that the patch is a week old the number of "kiddies" showing off at starports seems to have dropped a lot. But, are they any worse than the CH "kiddies" flooding th starports with pets, parking them on top of ticket collectors?


It's not purely a jedi thing, allprofessions have these "kiddies" that annoy people, jedi bashing is just the FOTM.

Equipedan Impeial PSG which I had made and asked a Jedi friend to duel with me. The PSG had 29% LS resist and it was preventing 12 points of damage out of 174????(not quit sure what jedi was doing). Thsi was as of monday night.

What is the new lightsaber damage type?

A new damage type has been created called, "lightsaber damage". All armor is vulnerable to lightsabers, with the exception of Personal Shield Generators.

We are in a planning and design nightmare.


When did SWG II come out? I missed the announcement?


The way they keep tossing us players back forth and sideways with these major game design movements is outrageous. When did Live become Test Center Rollercoaster? The whole game seems to be a moving Beta.


I understand that Jedi was poorly designed and implemented, and needed to change to keep the game alive, but whats the deal with all the other changes? For that matter, whats the deal with the whole revamp of the jedi trees to begin with? It was fine. The only thing that needed to change was the path to jedi, to eliminate the grind.


Until SWG II comes out, I'd appreciate not jerking us players around so much that from week to week we dont know what game we're playing. Fix the bugs, listen to the players (eliminate 10 minute shuttle waits), enhance the content, and make minor modifications to address correspondent issues. Other than that, quit messing up the game with all these changes. I feel like a puppet on a string. I'm tired of it. Leave us alone and let us play.


Finally, now that you have scre##d the pooch, fix these things, and otherwise get us off your design rollercoaster:


1. Eliminate or vastly reduce the insane 200k jedi death penalty.


2. Jedi Robes are too weak, especially effects of not having helmet. What were you thinking elimanating armor without a viable alternative?


3. You've nerfed the house storage, now give us some house storage. 3 bags of resources and 10 lots is not nearly enough by 3x, for crafting players.


4. The basic jedi are nowtoo weak, the original templates were good, why'd you screw them up to address something totaly unrelated, which was the path to getting jedi. Change is OK related to templates, but with all the jerking around we are getting, I don't know why it was necessary.

1H sabershave the only moves with directed mind damage. I used to use a Twin lance (3 amazings on exp !) as my main battle weapon, it does a little more damage but since dmg is on health and action, it's too easily healed.


I actually tried a mix of sabers, and have a total of 14 -8 and -9 crystals, 5 now at 50 dmg rating. A 4 high end pearl 1H is actually only slightly inferior to a twin, but has the Head Hit 3 move you 'need' on folks who can heal health and action. Jedi vs Jedi combat, the lance is superior of course.


Just some food for thought What surprised me was that even with the best damage a Jedi could do vs Mind, it was regenned so fast it was still very difficult to make any impact on the mind pool before running out of force. My saber has a force cost of 12 right now... can it get much lower? I haven't seen any crystals will less then -9 force cost.

I dont think the jedi tef should come back...

It just started to be fun.,.,So now your going to put the tef back.,., Well give us our Armor Back.,,.This robe stuff is for the birds, if we have to deal with Tef's again.,

You stated that Jedi would no longer lose xp if they had a Doctor rez them.


Now on live it's not working as you stated. Itjust stores that xp debt behind the scenes until your next death then it tacks it on top of current loss.


Can you please clarify if this is intended or you left out part of the story?


Also BH are camping corpses and using TEF to kill any Doctor trying to rez a Jedi and then killing the Jedi again for double xp loss. Is this intended?

28) Hermit Quests


TH, what five pieces of the Hero's sphere?


I started and completed the Hermit quests after Publish 9.


I received 4x Mark symbols and 1x Hero Ring on completion. I never received a 5th piece to assemble any sphere. Can you please clarify if there is supposed to be a 5th symbol to assemble a Hero Sphere along with the Ring?
