Gonna have to agree with Dragger here. Mandalorians, as anyone who has played Knights of the Old Republic knows, were Warriors. They thrived on combat, no matter if they won or lost. It was all about the fight for them.

Seems to me any Master combat profession should be entitled to this. I'd even go as far as saying you're only allowed to get the full set once in the life of your character. That'll make it rarely seen right there. You have ot take care of it like a Mandalorian would have, or your gonna lost it.

Just my two credits...

Just 1 honest question Shug. There were litterally thousands of inquiries as to whether or not Mandalorian armor was already in the game or not. So why couldn't we get this info 7 months ago when the first questions popped up? I can't wait for it to get here, I think it's a wonderful addtion, but leaving us in the dark for so long just doesn't seem right.

Wow, atlast i've wanted some mando armour since i read about it in beta.

But i dont see mando armour being UBER, its just damn cool. It's a light srmour, a few plates of armour over a flight suite, whats UBER about that?

Mando armour should have decent resist, 40-50% but be very, very light, emcumberance 100 or so.

this way, everyone who has some wont be running around in ti, cause it might not suite their style of play.

and f**k off, all those , only MBHidea's, mandorlorians weren't BH's, they were mercenaires. Also, more than just jango and boba have been known to use it since then. Some guy got rich wearing it and posing as bobato steal his jobs and others have worn it to. It's just damn good scout armour, nothing like composite.

I'm waffling, cause i had a drink or two, and no devs are gonna read this far down the thread, but bollox to it, i got fed up of all the s***e that people said on the first few pages.

Hey, maybe the armor will be the loot but each peice will only have 1 point left so you need to know an armorsmith to get it fixed. lol, that would bea dirty trick but would be really funny.

It alll doesnt matter to me. Ive been a Mandalorian fan since a LONG time and Shug (a.k.a. Haden Blackman who wrote Jango Fett Open Seasons) Knows what hes doing with this armor and if anyone was to make this decision it'd be him. It all doesnt matter to me what competition i have against me on picking up that schem, or who else gets it. Ill camp, do what i need to get into that dungeon but you better believe that armor is mine.

It should be a scematic understood only by MBH. This should be our reward for spending 217 skill points to master a single elite profession. We, as Master Scouts, have crafting abilities. But since publish 7 and the restrictions of droids/pets/vehicle calls in camps only being lifted, we can no longer craft any useful items. DEVS!!! THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO LEGITAMIZE THE MASTER SCOUT PRE-REQ!!!!!!!!! Give the Master Bounty Hunters the ability to craft our own armor out of resources that we, as scouts, harvest. Give this suit of armor customizable traps, such as the limited range flame-thrower, wrist lanyard, and poison rocket darts Boba Fett had on his armor. This would totally legitamize the Master Scout pre-req, and would give an under-powered elite combat class an edge we have been lacking since defenses were nerfed in for everyone else.

Will these stupid ONLY BH NEED MANDO ARMOR noobs ever shut the heck up!? Mandalorians werent BOUNTY HUNTERS, they were mercinaries/commando (not like the ingame professions) only the exiles and or leftovers became bh. It should be available to everyone.

please, this is only going to become like jedis.
sure jedis are supposed to be rare, in truth, they really aren't.
Please don't make Mandalorian Armor like this, better yet, don't add it.

I say make Mandalorian Armor only wearable by someone who has mastered an Elite combat profession. The Mandalorians were mercenaries, but mercenaries can be more than just Commandos and Bounty Hunters.

It's more of a continuity problem than a "power" problem. Even if the mandolorian armor was not that strong (and used as a scout type armor as such), in the movies, comics, books, etc. mandolorian armorhas always beenvery very rare ( Atleast during the GCW, which is the time period we all play in). In all five movies there have only been two people seen wearing it; Boba and Jango fett. I personally think that the developers should've just hinted at the armor and done nothing more than that; just hinted. By saying this and that about mandalorian armor coming to the game, they have only started more controversy than they already have about game-related issues. Let us find out for ourselves, this is star wars after all; no one should know how / when / where to get mandolorian armor right off the bat, just like no one should know how to become a jedi right off the bat.
