Its good to see the thread unlocked, kudos to whomever made that command decision.

The priorities need to be re-evaluated and resources properly allocated.

JTL will be broken and buggy. History in this industry has shown us.

The chances of this expansion being ready on time, fully functional, and stable are grim.

Allocation of 100% resources for JTL, which be due relatively soon only supports the low odds.

With a buggy JTL, resources will still remain in service, neglecting the core system for months.

Well, first off. Thanks for being upfront with us, the paying customers.

Secondly, knowing that Thunderheart is just the messenger, I hopeit isconveyed to whoever is in charge and came up with this decision, that they have justKILLED the game for all the non-jedi players.

Since, it is the general feeling of the majority of players that they have been lied to about the Combat Rebalance and that their issues are not important to the Developers. Many players have canceled their accounts.

With some many people leaving this game, it is surmised that the upcoming "character transfer system" is being implemented due to the dwindling populations on all the servers and that this is the first sign ofupcoming server mergers, as an attempt to boost server populations.

The fact is, most players are disgusted and fed up with the way they have been treated. And if this trend continues, as it is being perceived to be, then the only players left will be those that are diehard Star Wars fans, those with jedi accounts and the new people who bought this game thinking it would be a great Star Wars MMORPG.

Unfortunately, as it is currently and if the current plan of development progresses, this will not be the finest MMORPG ever. It may reach that mark, but I do not forsee it for at least 2-3 more years.

In order to satisfy your current customer base, the Jump To Lightspeed expansion should be held off until after the combat rebalance is completed. Unless of course, you do not care about your customers and are only concerned with your companies bottom line.

In a customer based business, a happy customer will tell a few non-customers what a great product/service you provide and an un-happy customer will tell everybody they meet how horrible your product/service is.

When this game was first announced, I had hope that this would be the greatest MMORPG ever and with that hope I was one of the only people I know ofthat paid the yearly subscription fee. Because, I had faith and hope that everthing will get better. But, unfortunately, it has not and with the annoucement that the combat revamp is being delayed yet again, my faith and hope in this game is dying.

I have been aloyal paying customer since Launch +1 and, as it currently stands, I can not recommend this game or the expansion to anyone.In fact, I amtelling people that your competitors seem to have a better product that will be release later this year and that they should wait for that to come out, instead of purchasing and subscribing to this game.

Since, unfortunately, Iam currently commited to another year of this game I will continue to hope, since I know longer have faith,that the Developers will be honorable to their envisionment that this will be the greatest MMORPG ever and that will be taking the steps needed to fullfil that vision.

There are great expectations, of which have been stated that the combat balance would just be a step in the right direction.

Originally, it was going to be four stages, creatures, weapons, professions and ham, or something similiar. With combat changes being introduced around January.

That was pushed back.

Again pushed back due to Jedi Holocron problem, I would agree there.

But. The Holocron problem is fixed by simply removing holocrons. [edit : I said simply, its not I suppose if you take into account community response, BUT, see my comments on who has been waiting longer. Cripes, PART of the combat balance could be opening your force slot. Two birds, wound the force slot and kill the GCW problem ]

You COULD say that you cannot open your force slot for the next 6 months and work on the combat balance. How that effects profits I have no idea, but essentially its just the same as saying "no combat balance for 6 months".

I can understand the decision being logical and practical. But the GCW has waited long enough. And has been put aside too much. And I do not think that was factored into your decision enough.

I play, unfortunately around your reboots. Casually. I'd like to open the force slot.

but the GCW effects my gameplay NOW. Its sickening that I now have a long time of nothing, and what IS introduced is STILL surrounded by the failing GCW. The Failing GCW is STILL there while I can do a quest to become a Jedi.

While Overt I will STILL be quickly slaughtered. While Role playing, I will STILL be running from battle from a buffed player with high armour. And While doing my quests, I still will be in my mixture of composite and Storm trooper helm (cause the armour is no good) trying to interigate people, knowing I can do much in a duel if they challenge me. THAT WILL spoil doing the Jedi quests.

THE QUEST system will be NO FUN if around me a raiding party has total dominance in an area due to imbalance. It will be NO FUN if the Jedi profession is the ultimate in the GCW, leaving the other profession of little value in combat apart from support. And there will still be little to no reason for using base systems, and seeing a player ran combat community.

CUT publish 10, give the announcement that Force slot opening is disabled until the GCW is fixed. THEN work on a quest system while you can manage and maintain the GCW.

If people are THAT interested in the Jedi quests then let them be informed for a 6 months wait so they can cancel their accounts, put someone else in the waiting line, the GCW has been sitting in it with expectations for too long.

Disappointment is a HUGE understatement about the quality of this game and the people who make decisions on where it should go.

Fix the ground game FIRST, you know, the stuff that's been shoveled at us for a year now...

While i see the reasons behind JTL, I must agree with the majority of the above posters. Adding a diversion on top of a broken (or let say "Unbalanced") Core system is not how I would have done things.

I'm doing my very best to remain calmn, But if you gave me the option to obtain a refund for my remaining time I would take it and run happily away.

I had 4 acounts and my wife has two. Two of mine went bye bye after The Jedi revamp was announced. My next i wisely paid as well in 6 month term limits and it is gone come december. My wif's two I'm fighting with her now to drop since she now refuses to play and paid hers in monthly installments.

Reguardless I have been and continue to tell people NOT to buy you expansion. I also will not be buying it untill you fix what I am already stuck paying for (btw the one year payment was a good faith payment....and I feel its been betrayed horribly)

TH, I blame not you for anything...But the decisions that have been made piss me off to no end. Please relay that message to Haden. Holo was the main reason I picked up this title....UO was fun. But in this case the "vision" wasn't properly supported by the company. The CONCEPTS are truely wonderful....the game MIGHT end up the best on the market...and all the hype that your "Press" is throwing out sickens me as well. Game sites are not representing the feeling of the community by a long shot. You are very lucky most Americans believe the 30 sec crap your feeding them.

Most of your active community personal are activly out there trying to show them what the game is..before they waste their income on a game thats not going to be playable for 6 months still. I realize in doing this that we are keeping needed capital from comming into the Title..and are shooting ourselves in the foot...But I cannot in good conscience Keep saying I think this title is worth buying....when I play it less than 10 hours a week now because of the sad state its in.

I wish it were otherwise, I really really do. I will not support this game any more than I have already by my year payment. You can keep your expansion. I know it will be "good", and it might even be awsome and work 100%...But it dosen't excuse the current state of the game....or its near future.

Unhappy and wishing for a refund (yea right, I'd sooner get theJTL delayed befor that would happen

Welp I finally did it, my account is can-xed.

If the Combat Balance will not recieve its priority, then some form of compensation must be done. Something in which SOE will have to eat some costs, be free months of play, discounted pricing on JTL, etc.

An happy customer will tell 3 of his friends to purchase the product, an unhappy customer will tell 10 of his friend to don't purchase it ! (These are real statistics)

In my case I'll probably tell 20 of my friends to don't purchase this game!!!

I have noticed something disturbing or good today. Every profane post is being removed. Now why would it matter since the only people here are mad people. Perhaps the forums are being proofed. Strange as it may sound. Maybe they are being put in nicer language for someone at the company with power to read. Then again I am betting that the person who locked the thread realized it just ticked us off more, and we took our venom to other boards. Where we spread the message of hate lol. Either way it was probabally common sense that unlocked the Fedup and Sensitive Slot.

I personally do not need any more diversions added. Free anything is bad for business. I PAYED for a service and a game stability of a certain working caliber..and that is what I desier...or at the very least working to THAT end. adding a new diversion (call it content if you will) means little if the core game system is still not a viable entity in and of itself.

They consider this a part of their "core system" that they didn't have time to finish. Well I agree Star Wars means more with space added. However I wasnt Promised that when i bought my original Box title..I WAS promised a GCW of substance and meaning. I challenge you to state that it is either of those.

If i wanted a space sim I would have (and have) bought untill JTL is completed...in its due corse. TAking time away from what I HAVE bought to make something you WANT me to buy...is far from what I consider a Honest business tactic.

Don't Bother to offer me FREE anything. I don;t want it..I want assets placed back on the Core Title ...as thats wehat I have paid for.
