Wow knew this post would bring discontent from both grinder and non grinders but this is rough.
I have just one simple question for you TH, as I have ground 27 proffesions there is a good chance that i may be in the now group or the next group depending on my luck.
but since the guy that tells us this is in the village, andwe cannot access the village withouttalking to the the old man first, how are we to know?
I am curious becuase i would like to go to the village as many others here, I don't mind waiting for those who are farther ahead then me, but I would like to know if I am qualified.
I don't want to run around towns waiting for the old man to appear if I am not qualed, yet i don't want to not search for him if I am.
Could you consider putting some means or NPC elsewhere for folks so they know where they stand.
Perhaps a NPC on Talus or Rori or Naboo that could simply whisper a clue that the old man hunts for you.
I ask this so that the folks that may have to wait can at least know am I suppose to still be waiting, orthat the village is now accessable.
Other wise folks will all be running around mad as hell atyou guysbecuase they simply don't know hey i can access now where is the old geezer?
AS for the quest system, I am happy thatI am getting credit for the boxes that I earned, this was the biggest concern for me. I will say thansk for that and thanks for the hard work. Not everyone will like the changes I am sure but in the long term this looks like a far more palatable system then the grind for folks. Once the change over effect is gone I think the this system will be far more enjoyable for everyone.

Listen people...Calm down...
After exhaustively researching TH's posts, I can say with certaintity of the following:
1) If you unlucked post 9 / pre 10, you WILL get a visit...Just not the first day - you will be group A. This is known as achieving force sensitivity via "the old way"
2) If you were "glowy" the minute you logged into the game after patch 10 was released, i.e. - you did nothing, but log in and /checkforcestatus, you achieved your force sensitivity via the new path, but prior to the release of patch 10, you are in group A....
3) If you logged after patch 10, and your force status was anything BUT glowing, then achieved glowing later, you will be delayed.
What IS confusing is how much force xp/trees I will get since I unlocked via the new path, but prior to release, and I only did 12 profs, 4 of which were holos...I guess that will just have to be determined later.

As if anyone would respond I have a question to TH or anyone who can answer these two questions:
1) If a guildmate has mastered one or two profession and hasn't started prior to Pub9 and he is glowing, will he ever get a visit, and if so, when?
2) I've done 2 holocron professions, I'm glowing...and what I get from people and this thread, I won't get a visit for like a year? <--- Does that mean only people who grinded get to be Jedi say within the month? And people like me who just master a profession because it's cool then drop it for another one; have to wait 2 months + to even get a visit even though we're glowing?

Thunderheart you need to answer this now if you want to keep your long term paying customers:
Explain tous why a player how has compleated 7 professions has been visited when me and others I know who have unlocked after P9 on 30+ professions have had nothing.

SO:
1) If you logged in between the hours of 3:01 - 3:02, and your middle initial starts with an A, and your birth date is sometime before January but not counting a leap year, and if you have visited area 51a(which is somewhere by area 51c) you are in group A
2) If you unlocked 48 secret boxes, did 120 badges before the month of April, own snow shoes, drink Coke, and like to watch the republican convention, and embrace passionate conservatism--->but still don't really understand what it means. You are in-group A too
3) Did nothing and mastered no professions. You are automatically granted a Jedi knight!

Old Man just arrived: Galaxy Gorath, somewhere between Anchorhead and Bestine.
I have done the Badges thing and was glowing. When Pub10 came out, I had only a "Faint of the Force" andwas pretty much feeling down, because I had done almost all POI Badges and all Theme Parks. Finished the Warren (after Pub 10 came out) and became immediatly glowing.
Did some walk around and read the board yesterday. Did complain a little. Whined a bit. Canceled my Account and so on. Hm.
Did my all Professions the Holo told me and gave up then. I have a total of 10 Professions Mastered and less than 75 Badges. I am waiting now for the Sith, right? I get back later to complain, where the Sith are. Hm. Sorry about this lame english, come from germany.
