no.. the matter of fact is that the ones whining most about the broken profession seems to be those who care about the Pvp side of the game, and its them who is hurted most by the pushed back rebalance..
what im sick to death about is the ignorance you people are showing when you moan about that you get hurted by being set aside by another small minority taking time from your precious rebalance, be it jedi, entertainers, those looking forward to be pilots and all the other people who want to paly this game that you fail to see that you.. the PvP group is just the same kind of minority just as any others.
By demanding that everything to be set aside just so you run around killing other players shouting "I337" and "i pwned you n00b" is what i show the middle finger at.
thank u for taking your time reading this soon to be one-.starred post
Str8line,why are you spamming this thread with ridiculous nonsense?
The Combat Rebalance was supposed to address many pervasive problems with the core game, both PvP and PvE. (Of course,I'm sure you know this--you're just being a troll.)
People are tired of trying to play a game that has zero challenge. What is the point of engaging with PvE content when there is absolutely no risk involved? What is the point of playing a massively multi-player game, when no one wants to group because everyone can solo all of the high-end content?Where is the challenge in doing missions, when you can do them in under five minutes by yourself, collecting tons of meaningless credits in the process? Why should armorsmiths ever create/sell chitin or mabari armor, when it is substandard in every way to composite? What's the point of doing the RIS and Mandalorian armor quests, when the armor that you obtain as a result of them is useless, substandard junk? Why should anyone want to play a Pistoleer, when half of the specials in the tree have been broken since release? Why should Creature Handlers have to wait another8 - 10 months before their petsare brought back into balance with everyone else's combat abilities, thus limiting their interaction with PvE content? Why should anyone in their right mindeven want to play a Smuggler, Scout or Ranger at this point in the development of the game?
Really, Str8line, you need to pick up the 'clue phone' on this one. To say that the Combat Rebalance was just about PvP is absurd.

jerii 5 ***** from me (not that it makes any difference since so many one starred you..)
and now, just to aggravate those same jackals im gonna 1 star rate every one of there whining **edit** since stars is only thing they care about
middle finger to all the jackals
The "jackals" as you call us seem to be the only ones interested in the long term viablity of this game. Adding an expansion to a fundamentally broken game is about the worst idea ever. Right up there with running with scissors and using the toaster while you're taking a bath.
You are giving the entire future of SWG the middle finger really. Hope you feel good about that.
Couldn't have said it any better. How high do they think they can pile sh1t before it falls over?
Oh, btw, both accounts where canceled due to this post. I dont like having a jedi that already got a renerf while the rest of the communtity did not.

It's the best idea they could have possibly had.
With all due respect to those players out there that want "what they want, when they want it", it would be foolish for the development team to rush ahead into any update for the game without giving it the due attention, which only they are qualified to say, it deserves.
My one and only hope is that this kind of 'refocusing' becomes even more common. It will not always result in delays, but at the very least, with a clearer definition of where the game is and where its headed. The developers of SWG have a lot to be proud of. And while they could have sat back and blamed these delays on any number of things they stood up and said "We're not ready yet, we need more time and a more fully developed team to do this properly". I appreciate that and I look forward to the quality of work that this action implies they are putting into this as well.
We seem to be in a serious minority here. I totally agree with you. I really believe that too many
players don't really understand the enormous scope of this game, just how grand an undertaking something
like the Combat Balance really is. C'mon, we're talking about core functions here. The entire underlying
structure of the game is being totally re-written. Every single profession is being impacted, from the
combat classes to the entertainers to the crafters. Give it time people.
Of Course we understand the scope of the CB. We've been patient throughout the year's worth of "we'll be addressing it in the CB, we plan on working on CB soon, etc..."
But, after a year, you begin to feel like a jackass in suspense.
To make you understand how we feel, imagine this:
In 5months, they tell you; "We've decided to push the CB back until after the Dancer Publish. And then after another 6 weeks; "After further consideration, we need to pull CB off the schedule until we complete the 2 new planets introduced in P15, blah, blah, blah.
Pretty soon you'll feel like we do. Only we came toyour newly formedconclusion a lot earlier ![]()
