Thread: Publish 9.25 Feedback Thread...
How about beefing up faction pets/ not making them die in one hit, and giving them vitality. Is there enough time to look into weapon balancing? How about fixing the GCW bases and /GCW command? Just a few issues that I think need addressed.

Folks,
Thanks so much for the feedback, please keep it coming.
Thunderheart is in San Diego doing some transitional stuff as he takes on the role of Community Manager, so I am filling in for him today.
The AI will not have a weapon switch delay. They do not use the same combat queue as Player Characters do. We could eventually code this in, but it will take approximately a week of dev/ QA time, and I am certain more than a few of you would find a way to, er, take advantage of this situation, so we would have to spend more time balancing it against exploits etc.
This may be something that we revisit in the future, but we would rather spend whatever spare dev time we have now in getting powerful quick fixes out to you before JTL ships. Case in point, this is our second publish this week, and we will have inoculations and area cures on Test Center by tomorrow.
No other loot drop rates have been touched outside of the Loot Kits.
We are furiously trying to track down the Wookiee Armor crash, and have been working in close concert with some of you (THANKS) to nail it down. We are making traction, but have not solved it yet.
Again, we are as concerned over the CB delay as you are. Over the next few weeks, we are going to be trying very hard to get as many short-term fixes/ augmentations in as possible. We are bringing your correspondents down to Austin for a Summit Meeting next month to discuss the broader picture in full detail.
Thanks for the feedback and your patience,
- g

Most of them are still soloable (up to protectors) given the right approach (single pull them), I didn't try an elder so no idea if those still can be done (I doubt that tbh

I think about 50% of players enjoy going solo. So, making it to where I cannot kill many NPC's without being in a group, just kills the game for me. Even as a solo, nightsisters were hard. I could hold my own most of the time. I passed a nightsister protector yesterday, and she hit my swoop and nearly took it out. I didn't even know what hit me at first. I saw the NS and jumped off the bike, next thing I know, I'm incapacitated. I didn't even get a chance to hit her. After I cloned, I realized my swoop was disabled. I'm Master Swords/Master Rifle. Yet this NS killed in in 5 seconds. That right there is enough to make me want to find another game. I don't like hunting in groups, I'm a true solo player. I worked hard for the 30k it took to buy that swoop, and poof it's gone in 5 seconds.
Also, I agree, with earlier posts. The NS are using specials for weapons they don't have. You messed up on this one I think.
Then don't solo Night Sisters anymore. If you want to go solo go to the easier planets and hunt there. Now, i you want the uber loot yoou will have to group to do that now.
BTW, agree that the NPCs use what they have.

Why not? The major loot oriented MOBs were beefed up (HAM), our bleeds were nerfed, and now they use specials again. There must not be risk without reward.

NS elders are now 10x or so harder to kill and do uber damage. As usual, there is no balance in this game, you've gone too far the other way.
As usual there is no balance in this game.
I've been saying it for a year now.
I have been playing since launch and participated in the GCW once, it sucked, never again, PVP is unbalanced and for a year I never participated...so basically, I'm not getting my money's worth.
NOW...PVE is unbalanced, lol! Great, fine, good...
I have 2 accounts, I will be cancelling one.
I will be keeping the crafter that supplies thepoor folks who waste their time in combat.
Then I will play JTLS, if it even REMOTELY sucks, bye.
Nightsisters are suppose to be tough to kill. That's why they drop the uber loot.
See - thats the problem.
they don't always.
I took on an elder with four other masters. After about a 20min fight - "You find nothing on the corpse".
This is the complaint. I love them being tough again.
But I hate losing 10-20k of foods/buffs/armour for nothing to show for it.
You don't even get a running tally of what creatures you kill to brag about.
BTW - I had my 80% kinetic chest piece punched through by the elder. expensive piece of fluff now.
Tauro.
