Great patch. Once again, FS NPC's are challenging to fight, and fun towatch. High-level melee templates are not self-sufficient againsttop-tier MOB's anymore. Buffs and comp armor don't make defence stackers invulnerable anymore, at least against FS NPC's.This patchshould have positive side effects on the game: group hunting should become more popular, and ranged fighters shouldhave a more important rolein PvE.

Small groups of NS Rangers and Stalkers are still soloable. However, small groups of Sentinels, Spell Weavers, or anything above that, are not. Mokk Shaman missions are still easily soloable, but at a slightlyhigher risk than before, because ofthe bleeds and KD attacks.

The drop rate for loot kit components is noticeably higher than it was before the patch. Yesterday I got 4 components in about 3 hours of fighting Mokks. Crystals are still fairly easy to get (albeit not from Nightsisters). I got two yesterday over the same time period (still from Mokks). The days of crystal farming on Dath may be over, butcrystals arenot reallyrare.

Did anyone notice they fixed the email problem?

Remember you would get like 20 windows opened when you would write or forward email?

And there is a radial option to attach a waypoint to the mail when you select the wp.

Why didnt they advertise this fix?

As usual there is no balance in this game.

I've been saying it for a year now.

I have been playing since launch and participated in the GCW once, it sucked, never again, PVP is unbalanced and for a year I never participated...so basically, I'm not getting my money's worth.

NOW...PVE is unbalanced, lol! Great, fine, good...

I have 2 accounts, I will be cancelling one.

I will be keeping the crafter that supplies thepoor folks who waste their time in combat.

Then I will play JTLS, if it even REMOTELY sucks, bye.

Nightsisters are suppose to be tough to kill. That's why they drop the uber loot.

I wasn't focusing on the nightsisters specifically...sorry if the highlighting process escapes you.

I was focusing on the fact that when SWG "fixes" something, they always tend to take it too far back into the other direction.

I LOVE THAT THE NPC'S USE SPECIALS AND SWITCH WEAPONS. IT IS AWESOME.

I HATE THAT WE HAVE A WEAPON DELAY AND THE NPC'S HAVE BEEN MADE JUST A LITTLE TOO DIFFICULT.

I am a Commando BH, do you know how many weapons I have?

If there HAS to be a delay, they need to fix it, it is the worst timed que EVER.

The delays of the flamethrower...the delay of the healing in the que...and now the delay of switching weapons HAS NO TEMPO. They are out of sync with one another.

You can never tell WHEN something is going to happen.

Why should I have to wait for the flamethrower delay to heal?

And it seems that if I switch weapons, I have to wait till the weapon switch is complete to heal. BS

The game has never had any balance.

Doom 3, Half life 2, WOW, Kotor IIand EQ2 WILL bring balance to SWG, and you will see servers shut down and combined.

Its nice that NPCs are finally acting the way they are supposed to. It looks like my main character (who has no fighting skills) is going to spend a lot of time at the clone center like she used to (walking out of my shop and getting one-shot killed by a mauler used to be pretty common), but that is something I can deal with. What I wonder is if all of the difficult content since December is going to be readjusted. In the past few months you have spent a lot of time and effort adding things like the geonesian cave, the corevette and the deathwatch bunker as "challenge" dungeons. So far, a group of good fighters stand a chance of having fun in these, but now that the NPCs do specials, they should be *much* harder. If all these months of work are now for groups of only the 1% most "elite" fighters in the game, then something is wrong with your priorities.

Jedi Bounty TEFs should clear properly
I see a person in Jedi clothing holding a lightsaber. Why does he not have a TEF to everyone standing there looking at him? Now that you have thrown the Jedi being "all but extinct" out of the window, are Jedi no longer hunted either?

BTW....how can a Meatlump know I have -5000 faction 64m away....but Imperials and Rebels have no clue about a players faction standing until we walk up to them and /biatchslap them?

Spawn time increased for Squill Cave
How is this stopping the camping by Jedi?

Mark of Courage quest should allow looting of no-move item
Don't care

NPCs should again equip/change weapons during combat
They do not appear to have the delay in switching weapons as we have

NPCs should again use special abilities

Not a single nice or respectful comment in there, and we wonder why the devs don't listen to us.

I think about 50% of players enjoy going solo. So, making it to where I cannot kill many NPC's without being in a group, just kills the game for me. Even as a solo, nightsisters were hard. I could hold my own most of the time. I passed a nightsister protector yesterday, and she hit my swoop and nearly took it out. I didn't even know what hit me at first. I saw the NS and jumped off the bike, next thing I know, I'm incapacitated. I didn't even get a chance to hit her. After I cloned, I realized my swoop was disabled. I'm Master Swords/Master Rifle. Yet this NS killed in in 5 seconds. That right there is enough to make me want to find another game. I don't like hunting in groups, I'm a true solo player. I worked hard for the 30k it took to buy that swoop, and poof it's gone in 5 seconds.

Also, I agree, with earlier posts. The NS are using specials for weapons they don't have. You messed up on this one I think.

Personally I love the patch, had great fun hunting low level NPCs last night, and was actually enjoying feeling that fear of dying again.

I can understand anout the solo issue, but to be honest, the uber NPCs should have been solo'able, they should need groups. This is, after all, a MMORPG.

If I go solo, I stick ot low level NPCs, like I did before, I can't macro them (never learned how, never wanted to) and I enjoy making a bit of cash on the side to supplement my crafting.

So a big thankyou from me for the patch, it is fun, it is exciting and it is dangerous!

As for paying 30K for a Swoop?!?!? They sell for about 16K near me.

The changes to the NPC's are good. They are much more fun now. Thank you.

I was only able to check out the Maulers and Trade Feds on Naboo. Weapon changes are quirky and there seemed to be few specials tho I didn't have the patience to go through all the battle spam to check it thoroughly.

Trade Feds are still cake though more fun.

A camp of 1 Acolyte, 2 Maulers, 1 Lord and 1 Master is still soloable with standard armor and brandy (no other buffs) but is much, much more fun.

Who ever said NPC's should be submitted to the weapon switch delay? What will you ask for next? I guess you could claim thatit's unfair for high-levelfor NPC's tohave more HAM than the average player. What should the dev's do to make you feel uber again? Reduce the HAMpools of all humanoid NPC's HAM to the same levels as player HAM?

/scratch. Well That is true but sometimes can't NPCs be so over powered it seems not even worth the offort to take them down? I'm almost scared to run missions on dantooine today in fear of what the mokks and the jantas might use on me or have in store for me.

Nice work, NPCs offer up some challenge for a change, at least at the high end.

I am having one issue that hadn't been there before. I'm having a devil of a time trying to break an aggro. When I hop on the bike and run, its taking upwards of 400 or more meters before /peace will break the battle. Its the same intermittant bug that lets you continue to see status on other players and NPCs well beyond the "horizon", if you will.

It had happened previously only every so often, but always cut out around 250 meters or so at worst. This is an escalation of the issue.

what amazes me, is surly all the other MMORPG's out there have their high level content unreachable by solo players? i would have thought that was standard. i then find it surprising that people moan about it here.

one of the problems of SWG is beyond the complacence of the player base for their own ability against high end mobs, its the loot drops. Currently, loot doesn't drop mearly enough when you are in a group trying to get loot. What was just about worth soloing to try and get, becomes impossible to distribute fairly when in a group. instead of 1 in a hundread chance of looting solo, you then have to divide that again by the number of people grouping, assuming they all want the same loot.

until high endloot farming is made to be unreachable for the solo player the tables have to remain with their group unfreindly loot chances. but once grouping is made and enforced, loot needs to increase. for that dark jedi master, you should get loot every time, as its just taken a group of 20 30 minutes to take it out....

Looted 3 Clear crystals last night and 2 stone knives, no loot kit loot though.

Janta and Mokks attacked with knives, staffs and special attacks. I always had to meditate after a fight to get rid of bleeding or something.

I spent a lot of time on my back last night from KD dizzy attacks. They were not as easy to KD as before.

Great change, made it a lot of fun to play. No complants here.(except get rid of our weapon change. It has killed commando and BH)

As of this patch I can not use stims on myself from the toolbar. I now have to use /heal self to be able to apply a stim to me.

Example:

While in solo combat, I used to be able to click on my stims in the toolbar and it would heal me. I now get the message that "You can not heal that creature ..... ". So after combat was over I made sure I had nothing targeted and clicked my toolbar stim again and received the same message. I then typed "/heal self" and I was finaly healed.
