you finished 31-32nd prof after p10 went live..or you did a badge or 2 and got inner glow?or you were inner glow when p10 went live already??

Hehe, seems we posted about the exact same question at the same time Twiafu.


Seems not much about the Old Man is working properly.


I was glowing at patch day and have worked through 21 profs on the hologrind, ifI get gated and have to wait for the ones that did not lift a finger in the old system and on top of that qualified for a visit after I did... well I willNOT be happy.

If you want to know just how stupid this whole thing is (and the devs for that matter), consider this....


They are gating the visit supposedly to keep the village from getting swamped. Okay that makes sense. But ask yourself this, which group is going to be in and out of the village the fastest? Yes, the post 9 unlockers, in theory, could be in and out of the village in an hour, A FRICKING HOUR.


Instead, they trickle in people that are going to be there for days, weeks, even months, first. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.



Idiots.

well i was visited by the old man 2day im still disapointed that i unlocked when i only had 8 proffs done and theres others out here..im REALLY happy i did unlock but i dont feel right when theres guys b4 me that have WAY more then i do...but ive played about 5 hours on and off today total and i havent got attacked by the sith i tried to access the village after the old dude talked to me but i couldnt get in i hope it dont take long for the sith to reach me i wanna get into the city asap...

Myself and 3 other friends who were glowing all got a visit from the old man within 10 minutes of logging on tonight (Gorath crashed and came back up an hour ago). I think SOE opened the flood gates, though none of us have found the siths yet.

well im not going to rant and rave cause it will do no good ,ill just say u devs are a peice of work and maybe with some real luck the old man will visit yall with ur final paychecks and a boot in ur arsses.

i sat here and watched 2 people get hit by the old man and both had under 15 proff and both under 50 badges and have been on the game for less then 5 months.this is tottly diff from ur post,dont get me wrong im happy for those that are lucky /congrads to them all !

but the thought has maybe just sunk in about the 8 holo crap that the devs failed to mention anywere,me with doing 20 proff with 94 badges and have been with the game over a year yet just thinking that some one who just got the game 4 months ago and just grinded proff will be further along then me just doesnt sit right(since they only maybe did 14 proff).

i am not better then no one on her,nor do i portray to be i just would like some answers and a lil respect from the dev's.

after reading so many post and yet not seeing one reply from a dev i just wonder why i evean log in any more,and all i can say is the only reason to stay on this game any more is for the friends i have made,and can honestly say that none of them are dev's

I'm speaking of a friend, on the phone with right now. She was NOT glowing at release! Went out and ground badges to get glowie. I was with her to finish Warren. After the Warren, must have been around 11pm-ish EDT, she was glowing. Logged in just less that 30 minutes ago and was visited IN A PLAYER CITY. Even though TH Said no cities, player included....


I was glowie at release. And still nothing! A non-hologrinder get a visit before a Hologrinder!


Something is not right here!


Am I reading this wrong? Do we have to get TH to define what before is?


Lets say Player A has completed 32 professions before publish 10.

Player B has met all the requirements of the new path before publish 10.


Both player A and Player B are eligible for visits by the old man.

So, a straight out of the box noob, could have did one profession and get all the badges on Tuesday and beat ALL the holo grinders to the Old Man and the Village....

if all the people like you, that just want to complain about every little thing the dev's do.. then why do you guys even keep playing.. why don't you just quit and let people that want to play, get in the village....

And another thing I see alot of you people that are complaining and calling the dev's idiots, well lets see they got you paying to play a game, that you do nothing but complain about... does this make sense... who is the idiot???

Tonight after a long-time waiting on different planet, player cities, in the wild, taking shuttles, etc. I logged on and the old man came to me almost right away. Got the crystal, I am now waiting for the syth, so I read in the string, but he did not give me any details about what to do. I have 2 accounts, both were Glowing with the force on Publish 10 launch.

Both charachters had pretty much the same badges give or take a few professions. I am now convinced that there is a certain time the old man is released and he will find you. I am not going to wait out in th wild anymore for a spawn. I will go about my business and TRY not to let myself get so worked up again, like the rest of the waiting people. Only thing now is, How long do I wait for my Syth to show up.

this is good first ur gated with the visit from the old man , now it seems the attack from the 2 sith are gated as well when will the madness end. should i just log in about a month from now,i mean will this be enough time for the dev's to get there **edit** togather or maybe they will actually post an answer on some thing that doesnt even concearn this publish witch is normal for them.

THIS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN SAID BEFORE PUB 10 I GUESS????? I got glowy after one badge during pub 10 (patch day) with a badge (ruined temple) I thought I had (done missions) but didn't have after all. So I go from immediate visit to group 3 (probably). Excuse my language, but what a moronic system is that???
I had been waiting for ages for this publish. And now I can wait even longer, just because some person (=thunderhart) couldn't deliver this info BEFORE pub 10.
Do your job right please?
I have played this game for over a year, and this is the first time I'm so upset. I had refused to do the grinding, and now I'm punished for that. Punished because I DO NOT GET ANY INFO FROM THE GUYS WHOM I (along with others) PAY!





I think TH has been sick..you need to give him a bit of slack to catch up Though I will smack him if I dont get my visit tomma, hehe
