Not a flame, but something you need to consider.
When is a jedi not a jedi?
in patch 10, anyone unlocking will start off with there mains and mini jedi, and as you climb the branches you remove your old prof skills and work up jedi.
So if you want to go hunting with your guild in TKA mode, should you be allowed to wear armor? and what about those force sensitive attributes.
All I am saying is being a jedi is not a switch you can turn on or off. its an evolution of ones toon.

24) Cannot harvest more than 100 units of a resource from a creature. When this 100 resources is retrieved you can no longer harvest anymore of that resource type (unless you delete the current 100 units). You get a message that the container is full. I get the system message: "You harvested 186 unit(s) of Endorian Leathery Hide. The creature was fat and healthy" but there is not 186 units retrieved.
We still can’t recreate this, though QA is still working on reproducing this problem.
This bug happened to me once when i had my inv at 58/60 or 59/60. Seems that the resource harvested from the critters come in packs of 100 max, so if you kill a critter wich will drop more than 100 hide, meat or bones you will need to loot from him more than a single container, the ui will try first to load all the containers in your inventory, then it will try to merge them.

This is an important issue.I’ve received a bunch of reports but there is no data on this side.If you are still seeing this, please let me know.

That's probably why they nerfed 99% of the players with this ridiculous armor/weapon delay. It was directly branching from their design decision to allow Force Sensitive players progress later through to jedi.
In answer to your question, I pose this question: Is destroying capabilities for ALL other combatplayers to respond to a JEDI-specific expected exploit a correct response?
So, considering that question, I would have to answer yours with : "Yes, Force sensitive characters able to perfom force powers/use lightsabers should, at that specific stage, lose all ability to even wear any armor at all ever, until they relinquish their ability to use jedi powers/lightsabers."
It is a BAD design decision and adversely affects too many people in far too harsh a manner (making the whole idea of constructing your own character design worthless).
Plus, TH, a server with the whole jedi quest thing turned off would be super.
1. Immersion (remember how much you guys love immersion? starport waits and all? This is real immersion) would be better on such a server. No more roving jedi gank squads flexing and dancing in front of imperial recruiters when they should be murdered by several hundred quick reaction Nova troopers.
2. GCW Health - this would improve as the jedi wouldn't be ganking every overt they see for FRS points. People would actually go overt again. (FRS points should only come from other jedi and BH's, not from overt novice marksmen)
3. Testing: Without jedi to confuse issues and gank everyone for FRS points, combat classes would be more active and be quicker to find bugs in overt and covert combat.
4. Customer Relations: With allowing an OPTION for a player to go to another server where jedi can not be made, a lot of the ill will concerning jedi will dissipate. Allowing an option for people to play as just folks in the Star Wars universe of the movies would be a huge selling point - kind of like what is on the box, you know.
-Jedi are rare in this time period (between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back). Becoming a Jedi and surviving as a Jedi is very very very very difficult (and rewarding) in Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided

Sounds as if some of the Jedi who don't want to be under constant threat of death and or being hunted didn't really grasp the concept of what they were getting into in this game when they decided to be a Jedi.

To all the people screaming for Sabre TEF, just wait a month or 2 till the FRS kicks into high gear. There will be Overt jedi’s to hunt. You can count on it.

Well considering the FRS is already fubarred off the starting line, and PAs have already figured out ways of dominating the enclaves on TC I'd say theres not too much hope in waiting for the FRS to kick into high gear : \
Come to think of it, The Emperor was Covert. Guess he wasn't in the FRS.
...snip...
Only want to comment on one thing....
Darth Vader was a Dark Lord of the Sith and the Emperor's apprentice.... nuff said

Very accurate write up on what will happen as a result of Publish 9 and the forthcoming Publish 10.
6 months from now, if you are not a jedi there will be no hope in competing in the limited dungeons in this game or PvP.
This will impact the crafting porfessions too... jedi make their own weapons (weaponsmith) and jedi get free robes (tailor and armorsmith). Since we are all alcoholics and required to drink brandy to survive in combat there shouldnt be much impact to chefs. The architect market is already dead and I dont need to comment on droid engineers.
I have played this game since day 2 because I want to immerse my self in the episode 4-5 time line. I did not buy this game to be a jedi as that was not advertised and we all know Jedi are suppose to be very rare. I have no jedi envy. I have had plenty of time to be a grind monkey and get jedi. If I want to play a jedi i could easily have bought KOTOR.
I think it is in the best interest for game that the TEF be reinstated. Maybe only in cities, maybe after a certain level of visibility. I want to see the Jedi have just as much fun as I do in this game, but I do want to adhere to the timeline. That means get those silly super battle droids out of here too!!
i think this thread sums up how many feel on Eclipse
