I really like the idea of percentage based buffs (multiplier) instead of fixed number (additive).


Also, make the highest armor cap out at 60% protection.

Nerf armor and doctor buffs and allow mind to be healed via stims so that the game becomes challenging again and all HAM pools are of equal importance.

Great work TH! We all appriciate how hard you are working to make this game even more uber!


One suggestion: Could you make a non-combat suggestion thread too?


For instance my non-combat suggestion would be: Fix Advertised Planetary Vendors without items to not display on the Global Planetary Search. There are a lot of non-combat related things like this that would really benefit the gameplay too.



To keep the thread on subject:Make ATSTs a worthwhile faction perk again by either increasing their HAM or shields.

Remove the damage type of mind.


Do not lower armor resists, otherwise all the high end content will really be undoable.

Significantly reduce the effectiveness of doctor buffs to ensure PVP between buffed and non-buffed opponents is not massively imbalanced.

He's right. Yet TH wants to throw in a three or four "fixes" in the update notes sometime before Jump To Lightspeed so we all don't leave.


Thunderheart, what did your co-workers/supervisors say about the most hateful, fasting growing post in this game's history? Did you show it to them? It is still growing.

Reduce all Damage Over Timeattacks (Poison, Disease, Fire) to the same75% damagereduction vs. PVP targets as all other PVP damage, and continue to allow them to stack.

Here are the top4 issues:


Put a armor defence cap of ~50%.


Reduce Combat Medic damage by ~75%.


Make mind damage somehow healable.


Add poison and desease cure at close to master medic.

Short thing...


Keep lightsaber block how it is. One on One, ANY BH SHOULD NOT WIN. Get it? we hare 20% STRONGER, hense we should win. We used an entire tree to get that block, (btw, the tree takes over 50x longer then your entire profession) and should block the current % of attacks.



Anyways, my #1 thing is melee stackers. Lower their defenses to 75 max on anything, and increase (for my profession) accuracy to be 20% of the highest melee (tka).

/BodyShot3 should be a better special (ie, either higher DPS/a state effect/posture change/something) than /BodyShot2.
