Based on some detailed conversations with the Correspondents, as well as your feedback, we have already implemented some changes on TC & TC2 for the credit you receive if you unlocked.
As you know, those that have unlocked between publish 9 & 10 will be given all 6 Force Sensitive branches that they need to proceed to Padawan.
Now, based on our interactions with the community, you will also be given the experience necessary to purchase all four boxes in each branch.
So: Intro Quest, Exit Quest, and on to Padawan. You can still do the Force Sensitive quests if you desire to gain their specific rewards.
We will announce the proportional credit for those who have not unlocked soon. It will be fair as well.
Thanks,

Logically, the reward for those who haven't unlocked yet should be a lesser extent then the those whom have unlocked since patch 9 are receiving. Those who have ground more professions, logically, should get more of a reward then those who didn't. It's actually very easy to calculate.
There were 32 professions which mattered toward unlocking. The way to calculate what percentage of the reward a player should receive would be to divide the number of professions left to master by the total number of professions. For example, I've masterd 10 professions (11 if I could get 300 more app xp =/). So the percentage of the reward I would get would be(10/32) or 31% rounded to the nearest hundreth.
Being 6 trees needed to unlock, that would translate to 31% of 6 or 1.86. Depending on whether you round up or down (hopefully up though in practice rounding down would probably be more fair) that would be either 1 or 2 fs trees of my choice unlocked with the xp to put into it/them.
That, I think, is about the fairest way to determine what those who haven't unlocked would get.
pre-patch 9 it was not how many masteries you had, it was how many of the 4 known via holos and your silent. not to take away from people that took their play time and decided to grind out profession after profession to unlock at 5 or 32 masteries, but the system is as such. the devs have stated that the unlock system that is in place only KNOWS how many of your holo-professions you have mastered and there is no way to go back to see what you have mastered, but the system knows you have done (X) amount of holo masteries. knowing that, even if they could somehow code your solution in, there is no way for them to give people proper credit becuase the only point of reference would be maybe profession badges and holo masteries; the inherent problem there some of us, especially those of us that have been playing for over a year, have quite a few masteries that came before profession badges, ergo if its not a holo profession there is no data in the system to give credit.
the way i see it they should maintain the same standard they are for post 9 unlockers and kudos to those that have put in all that work and good luck; and base the holo masteries for those that have not unlcked on the the same lines. I.E., one holo masterey one branch. thats the more logical IMHO since that is the only data they will have to go by.
we will get credit for professions mastered before badges were given out for them.
I think mastering BH should give more credit than mastering ENTERTAINER for example...
Apologies if this has already been brought up in this book of a thread

We will come out with more info, and it will be fair.
But why not stop the grind right now? Just play! You are going to make it soon enough anyway, and the village is very fun!
Well, if you (devs) listen to such mamblings and do that, I'm sure most valued ($) customers will leave.
ok what would be wrong with putting the saber tef back in it would control how many jedi u see standing in the star port
i dont care to much for the perma death thing i would hate to loose my hedi after working so hard, but i also agree that a higher penalty should be imposed on a jedi's death
I 2nd that. Please, Devs, do the right thing : leave us the choice of the FS char.
That way everyone will be equally rewarded !

ok....so we got some good news.
This is to JustG....please please pllllllease see if they can find a way to make our 2nd slot the FS character please. After all the grinding needed to unlock already, i put my main back the way i wanted him....master arch, artisan and merchant.....not to mention set up my business with like 1200 items (thank god so far for the new limits on vendors otherwise this would be a complete and utter rant). The last thing I, or for that matter quite a few other people, want to do is regrind our new characters (whenever we get them) to the way our mains are now.....i just don't see the problems with making our 2nd character the FS character....we've been made to wait months to play the jedi character after struggling through a grind....now we gotta grind a 2nd character AND jedi?? jeez...enough already

Master Arch, Master Artisan, Master Merchant.....Master (Jedi) waiter

okay we know whats gonna happen to the unlockers. But what about those with 27+ professions are they just SOL?
JustG said in his post that they will soon announce what the compensation will be for those that haven't unlocked yet and it will be fair.
