I would like to say that I think the Devs hate us, wookies I mean. We complained about no armor and look what it got us. I had my armor on today and everyone made fun of it. Not that I care what other people think, besides, most of these guys probably live in their grandmother's basement and live off cheetos. What makes me angry is the way the devs decided that wookies are primitive. I mean, come on DEVS, Chewie worked on spaceships, but yet through the intracies of his craftsmanship, he could only make a cross between the tinman and the scarecrow. Right about now some of you people are flaming me and saying, hey, this guy blows, but you know what? I only post when it is important, thus the few posts under my avatar. One more thing, get the DEVS to name me 3 species in the Star Wars Universe that did wear armor. I can tell you right now, it wasn't a Transdoshan, but yet they can wear composite armor. So they give us this high strength modifier. I give a d a m n. That does nothing for you as a wookie, yet everyone says NERF the wookie's HAM. NERF it! In this day and age, you hardly see anyone unbuffed, and if you PvP, it is the mind that gets you incapped. I cannot believe that once a person becomes a developer, all of a sudden they are an expert on Star Wars. Now, I don't clame to be a genious, not even an idiot savant, but I can tell you this; someone didn't pay attention to anything in Star Wars 101 class, in fact, I think that a few slept through the class. I am happy that we finally got armor, but don't patronize us wookies. You may have the laugh now DEVs, but it is everyone who knows alot more about Star Wars that is laughing. Go on boys, flame on....I know you have nothing better to do, like date real women.
I love what he said too, that's incredibly true, EVERYBODY IS FRIGGIN COMPLAINING ABOUT WOOKIE HAM, WELL YOU TRY GOING UP AGAINST THAT BUFFED ASS CHEAT BUBA JOHNSON IN HIS EXPENSIVE COMP ARMOR AND T20 RIFLE, I GUARANTEE YOU THAT YOU'RE LIL EXTRA, ULTIMATE WOOKIE HAM WON'T STAND 2 SHOTS LIKE I DID, WOOKS ARE POWERFUL, BUT DESERVE THIS, SHADDAP AND STOP COMPLAINING, Btw, i stand corrected on the armor..seen it in the game...own some..it's not so bad..i even get 75% kenetic on it...ANYTHING to offer protection is ok, i still could go for a more technological look though...

I can't believe people aren't complaining about this armor. I haven't read one post about how unfair this is. Think about it.Wookiees were given monstrous stats BECAUSE they couldn't wear armor (don't reply saying that wookiees are monstrously strong and SHOULD have those stats, cuz that's crap. There shouldn't be any race that is THAT overpowered for no reason)Now that they do have armor... **edit**?! So they'll get good protection now AND those huge bonuses to stats? I agree they should have armor, but take away some bonuses. How can everyone think this is fair as it seems it will be? Hahaha.. because mainly only wookiees are responding. =)

The first armor is horrible. It looks like the wookie has a spaghetti strainer on his head and frying pans on his elbows. I mean hell, let me pour some Capn Crunch and milk into the helmet and make a bowl of cereal. The first set of armor was made from a wookie going through his mom's kitchen cabnets. Now for this second design. I don't see why anyone wants to look like a coat rack. I will make sure to buy a set of it. Put it in my house and hang my clothes on the horn. There is no need for wookies to look like a big basket with pots and pans on. The chefs are going to need your pots and pan armor to cook with. Give wookies something worth while please. Thank you

Strongest nothing. I went out bol hunting with a Rodian from my guild the other day and he put on his armor and tanked for me so I wasn't beaten to the ground every ten seconds. Downright embarassing I tell you.

Regarding the confusion about the general primitive-ness oradvanced-nessof Wookiees, it's not always an easy thing to sort.
Lucas wanted a race of primitives to take out a bunch of technologically advanced baddies. Initially that race was supposed to be Wookiees. But once it was realized that maybe establishing the only Wookiee in the movies as first-mate of the most jury-rigged freighter in the Galaxy didn't help the "primitive" feel of the race, they had to scrap it. Go figure. Enter the Ewoks.
But there is no reason Wookiees have to use metal to make their armor to appear advanced. They live in trees. They carve landing pads out of the branches of their trees. They use vines for nets and slings for carrying stuff while they climb up and down the treesusing their claws alone. There aren't a whole lot of descriptions of Wookiees zipping around in Fett-esque rocket packs, or on speeder bikes. Why? Well darn it they probably like it that way. Being close to nature doesn't mean primitive. Being technologically advanced doesn't mean they ignore the world around them.
Truth is, I desperately want to dress my Wookiee up in something that looks tailored and refined. She doesn't want to immerse herself in Wookiee culture. But if the devs are trying to work with the images of Wookiee culture, I can't say they're doing anything wrong by having armor made out of wood.
And if you still want metal armor, just pretend the wood has a really high mineral content. They're tough trees on Kashyyyk.

I would say Humans stats are much better than Wookiee stats. Why? Humans stats are far more flexible, allowing you to drop your Health and Action bars to 400 and pump up your Mind to over 1000. Get yourself some Doc buffs and you are ready to kick any Wookiee around the playing field.
I play all sorts of races and Wookiees are at a distinct disadvantage. The devs should be given some credit for recognising that fact and doing something about it.
Ideally I would of prefered to see the Bowcaster being upgraded to something really special. That way you have a more interesting choice to make. Death dealing wimp or tin can. Now everyone is a tin can, oh well progress is progress...

will there be any more new armor, i mean not just for wookies... i like the composite armor and all, but its old, especially with everyone wearing it. Maybe even some more RACE specific armor and clothing, like armor only for bothans, and armor only for humans, its just im all for the wookies having armor of their own, but they get the clothes that nobody else can wear too, again im all for them having special clothes and armor, but why cant the other races have specific armor and clothes... that way everyone isnt wearing the same thing.
