Thread: Second Wookiee Concept Armor
Allright! Finally some Wookiee Armor that does NOT look gay! :-)
Iombacca would be happy to be taking down some big-game wearing this!
I hope you add some metal components also, not purely organic. It isn't like Wookiees do not use metal, hell we make kick-butt bowcasters! Why can't we use metal in armor too?
I hope the stats on some of this is on par with the normal armor sets.

Go ahead and create a wookiee...take a look at the "monstrous stats." Then play the wookiee character for a while, preferably into an advanced melee profession. Then come back and say the stats are an unfair advantage. This has been discussed ENDLESSLY on other threads.
they are not big and super technilogical. the are primal. they live in the forest!
If u dont like it.. then guess what.. NO ONE CARES. because U dont have any taste or creativeness or a passion or an artists perspective ur just a whinny little kid that plays games on his computer thjat his momma bought for him.
As much as I appreciate SWG attempts to keep continuity, as well as the need to run these designs past Lucas Arts Licenscing, I think you guys are missing an important point about wookies.
Their uniqueness comes not from their 'traditional' and 'natural' technology, but from their good blend of 'traditional' and 'modern'.
Bowcasters are traditional Wookie weapons that often times combine older projectile attributes and newwer energy weapon ideas.
So why are all the Wookie Armor's made of Bone, Hide, and Wood?
C'mon! Wookies are strong! Give them a durasteel chestplate as thick as AT-ST armor! Give them helmets made of starship viewport material. Quit gimping one of the best races in the SW universe with false limitations of technological inferiority!!!
If I were a wookie I'd take these flimsy armors and break them on my knee to make padding for my REAL armor....
You know what, i was beginning to kind of feel like the oddball around this community until i saw this post, my homeboy, " WHAT UP SHOMORI!" said this would make my wooke like a fuzzy samurai, when i saw this piece of crap, this bigsorry joke for a WOOKIE ARMOR on this thing, i didnt quite know what to say....i was like...well it looks ok, i guess i'll have to settle, and then i saw the above print, and this young person took the words right from my mouth and brain, he/she is telling the absolute truth! THIS MAKES WOOKIES LOOK LIKE A COMPLETE JOKE! As if i dont get the walking carpet joke ever other day, now i gotta get the joke about a tentacle on the shoulder on MY COMPLETELY WOODEN ARMOR!! For starters, how many self respecting non-newbie humans, transdoshans, rodians, zabraks, or twi'leks do you see running around in BONE ARMOR, cause they like it? NOW take that andadd the ability only to wear dress like clothing and no armor but this pitiful looking bone armor and you know the life of the wookie, throw in the fact you were cursed to have to wear dresses all thedarn time....have people when you get taught, always try to teach you the freakin human language when people should already know wooks can't learn it and you're cursed with the life of asocial wookie.Wookie's are obviously one of the most dominating races of the game, due to their initial strength and health boost at the beginning of the game, and their apparent lack of a need for armor, and a special weapon ONLY THEY CAN WIELD, and you're tellin methatthe downside is being handed thisabomination, of wood hide and bones and told hey, this zabrak here can have some cold, intimidatinguber coolcomposite, semi boba fett, lookin armor,and you're gonna get a scrap of wood to cover you, how's that? I say it'smessed up and disrespectful to the 150th power, INFINITY!I WANTA STEEL TITANIUM PLATE, PROTECTING MY BODY, AND A GLOWING VISOR COVERING MY FACE, NOT A DEWBACK TENTACLE HANGING OFF OF MY SHOULDER, take this as the official, no i'm not weird, my head is just on straight and i can see clearly that i'm being handed the short end of the stick and i don't like it, post.....
