Had a great time! Love it! Looks great and is hard to do. Glad to see something that will require some thought and strategy. Went up in a group of 10, all buffed. We went about 25 minutes before the first of us got killed. We didn't really run into problems until we agro'd two uber stormies at once...all downhill from there. We stayed on-board the ship for the full hour but the last 15 minutes was pure chaos and a death rate of about 1 person every twenty seconds.

We agreed before we got there to use no area attacks to limit agro problems. Strategy worked pretty well. No re-buffing makes it tough, but I'm sure we'll get it next time.

Maybe I just don't take the game seriously enough, butI would never whine about not being able to beat the boss monster in a video game to the guy that wrote it and demand that he make it easier for me. If the dungeon is impossible, then come up with an impossible crew and fight like the little GCW soldiers that you are! Sure the game is supposed to be fun, but when you strain for seven hours just to get in the dungeon screaming at the monitor over every little road block, are we supposed to care about your anger issues? Did you throw the Nintendo thumb pad at the television when Mario got 'pwned'? Surely some of us remember what it was like to fight the boss characters in old video games. It was hard, wasn't it? You were elated to finally beat that **edit** right?

I haven't done the Corvette yet, but it sounds like the groups that are complaining are not bringing along enough support crew. 15 fighters and a couple of medics? I think that the groups seem a little lopsided.

Why not a Squad Leader? (Oh that's right, it doesn't "pwn" in PvP, it's a useless profession.)

Lord knows there are enough Combat Medics around, they could heal... (wait those combat medics don't heal they all just mind disease.)

Isn't anyone eating food to buff up? I haven't heard that yet. (Oh yeah, Chefs only make Vasarian Brandy.)

The Defensive melee characters are forming a line that the ranged combat guys are shooting over right?

People are not charging in and attacking the first guy they see, they are following a tactical gameplan, right?

Everyone is listening to a battle coordinator who is busy examining everything to make sure the combat support teams are doing their jobs, right?

Everyone is focusing their attacks on the same HAM bar right?

Even if the Corvette is as hard as y'all say it is, I don't think that it is worth screaming that the whole game is garbage. So what if it is hard? Figure out a way to beat it. Get more people. Try to hone your group tatics. I can't believe that it's as impossable as you say.

Spoken like someone who hasn't tried it yet ( and maybe never will). Sure had a lot to say for someone with ZERO experience with the Corvette...

On another note- It obviously requires a group, and yet only the ticket holder gets the prize? Sign me up! I cant wait to trash my armor so someone else can get the reward Way to encourage groups SOE

Hey guys, not sure if a Dev is reading this, but on my 4th time up, my group got a bad bug. When the confirmation to go up come up, we all clicked yes, and it loaded us into the drop point for the vette. So basically, we did the loading into the vette, then IMMEDIATELY loaded into the place where it kicks us out. So we got a wasted ticket, wasted time, wasted buffs, wasted....lots of **edit**.

OK I was reading others responses and I'm tired of hearing people complain that others are complaining because they think they are uber and everyone is as good as them.

Yes it is VERY hard. I went in with 10 people, half of them I've played with since the beginning and know they are great players. I'm not complaining much, we took about 1/3 of the place with mild problems (till we started dying and couldn't rebuff).

Improvements:

The infamous firing through walls. I got incapped by someone 2 rooms away and had no idea.

Aggros from other rooms (this sucks bad when you are having a tough time fighting 2 guys and 3 more show up outta nowhere)

Buffs... oh yah

area attacks i heard got you attacked from every npc in the ship.. so we stayed away from those

give more time! with enemies this hard and a group of good players.. we didn't get 1/3 of the way through in 1 hour.

I honestly don't think the hams or resists have to be toned down, they are OK. But the wall firing, armor holes, and aggros from other rooms needs to be fixed to make this remotely possible to finish by mostelite groups.

(imp) When i first signed on today I was looking forward to this new dungen. But I didnt know i would have to spend 3 HOURS looking for some stupid documents. I had to go back to the dath poi 2 times. Really pissed me off since its a long drive. THEN on the corvette i was in a nice group with a cm with 80% kinentic composit and nice buffs. I look down the hall and all i see are rebels. They were blue to us so im thinking oh easy. WRONG this dungen is sooooo hard. It seems impossible to beat it in a hour. Within 5min half the group died. Our group didnt make it on the 2nd floor. Only made it 2 rooms in. this dungen is IMPOSSIBLE. and waste of time and money to find the docs to get a ticket too.

It's doable. Thing is, don't take a godamn melee class with you. We need to get 2-3 BH (LLC rapes many of the MOBs there), at LEAST 2 commandos (armor piercing/Flame DOT damage), 1-2 smugglers (as has been suggested), and 1-2 docs/CMs (for buffs before you get there, and heals/drags/rezs while you're there). It would be nice if you could get a rebuff, and the armor decay on death just sucks without some way of insuring.
If you take your damn time, and everyone knows what's going on, it is DEFINITELY doable. Problem is, when we got there (2nd guild group of the night), someone (who wasn't in our guild) pulled a super-battle droid onto us. You don't have to fight the damn thing, so don't. Don't do AOE attacks, as you shoot through the walls and aggro everything on the ship to you.
Here's the stats for the screenies I took:

A super Battle Droid:
HAM - 141887
Armor Rating: Medium
Special Protection:

Kinetic - 85%
Energy - 95%
Blast - 100%
Heat - 60%
Cold - 100%
Electricity 25%
Acid - 40%
Stun - 85%

Effectiveness:

Restraint - 40%

Read this to say - USE ELECTRICITY OR ACID

Random NPC named Eekroahoo:
HAM - 68654

Armor Rating: medium
Special Protection:
Kinetic - 50%
Energy - 65%
Cold - 30%
Electricity - 30%
Acid - 80%

Stun - 65%
Effectiveness:
Blast - 20%
Restraint - 20%
Heat - 20%

AGAIN USE ELECTRICITY

Iesia Ony (a Rebel Commodore)

HAM - 142232
Armor Rating - Medium
Special Protection:
Kinetic - 65%
Energy - 75%
Cold - 30%
Electricity - 30%
Acid - 80%

Stun - 65%
Effectiveness:
Blast - 40%
Restraint - 40%
Heat - 40%

Getting sick of repeating myself - USE ELECTRICITY

Vouchauh - The guy you have to kill

HAM - 75113
Armor Rating - Medium
Special Protection:
Kinetic - 50%
Energy - 65%
Cold - 30%
Electricity - 30%
Acid - 80%

Stun - 65%
Effectiveness:
Blast - 20%
Restraint - 20%
Heat - 20%

In summary, use weapons that use ELECTRICITY. I think I'm gonna drop Master Commando, acid rifles, and heavy weapons, keeping only my flamethrower, and pick up BH again and just get the LLC line, as it will be the thing that rapes this dungeon (don't need LLC cone 2, only Firelightningsingle2 since it's not an AOE attack).

I'd just like to make a plug for the more casual players... would it be possible to get some dungeons that are easy enough that more casual (non-uber) players cando and enjoy? Maybe even solo? WOW! I'd give anything for a dungeon publish that was specially geared to be solo'd. I remember my days in AC when new dungeons were added for various levels. I loved the fact that although the high-end stuff was out of my reach, there was always a simpler dungeon that I could have fun with. I love this game but I just don't have the time to put into it to be able to compete with the high end players. I'd hate to think that every dungeon publish will be like this and my only exposure will be via web postings and screenshots by others. I'm not saying to dumb down the game... just offer some variety (via dungeons)for those of us that aren't as advanced. We want to be able to look forward to dugeon publishes and have fun too. It'd be interesting to see stats on just how many of your player base actually use the new dungeons that are put in. Are the majority of players trying them or is it just the top percent?
If its just the high-end players... what's being added for the rest of us?

As nearly everyone else said.... it's waaaaay too hard.

This is the final SOE failure for me.

After having beta tested, and played through live up until this point... I'm quitting.

********************** BUG **************************

If the person with ticket uses it and he is the only one not overt it loads you to other side of rebel hideout and you lose ticket. We were all ready to go tonight and this happened to us. It was the only ticket we had on us at the time so we buffed up for nothing.

This bug/typoprobably has been mentioned already, but the downed ship you need to find for Lt. Sabol on Dathomir is not NW areaon the map but more like E/NE on the map. Might want to change that in the next hotfix

That brings up a dang good point. When are us normal people who just want to go and tackle something with one or two of our friends gonna get something? Like the person said, when are we going to get stuff geared to lower classes? I was looking at the "schedule", which I know will change, but it seems the only people who don't have to kill Mega-Monsters are going to be Entertainers and/or Crafters, which is fine by me but what about the group of guys/girls who are only 3/2/4/2 Marksman or even Novice Elites? Why do you have to have Krayt Weapons, buffs, more foods and drinks than a New York bar to have any type of fun?
