Well you are definetly "uninformed" .

Try renting a movie called "Star Wars" and watch the first 20 minutes of it for a refresher course.

HINT its the first spacehip they show on screen.

Thanks for pointing this out. The first time I watched it I didn't notice the big "Rebel Blockade Runner" bumper sticker stuck to the back of the ship!

There is a lot of talk about single player content, and discontent with the fact that you will need groups for many of the new dungens.

Thunderheart, would it be difficult for you guys to modify the dungens in the future to scale their difficulty level to accomidate single players, small & large groups? Perhapse you could offer different rewards based on the difficulty level, none being necessarily better, but different. It would be really cool if I could have different experiences & rewards in a single dungen based on wether I was alone, or in particular size group.

Just a thought, can't wait to check it out.

I love how the devs are shifting from the concept of "go to point X and shoot Y", to "X has gone missing, go look at W, Y, Z to find it, but when you do find it, it might not even be what you're looking for". It really does make the game a lot more interesting, fun, and challenging. I also like that you need to have a group to get through it (at least, from what I've heard of it's difficulty ).

That said, any Imperials want to group up and do this thing?

- Osirix / Ahazi / Master Weaponsmith / 259 -5572 Corellia
- xBobaxxFettx: Btw, osirix if i ever met you irl id beat your OLD ass through your vipers wind shield
- forceone27: If I were ever in a bar, and heard this guy go, "yeah, I'm osirix on SWG", I'd knock him flat, straight up.
- Rhboubhe: I'd just like to take a moment to state, that Osrix is a pimp.

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

What I want to know on this.. Is this dungeon "instanced" so that ONLY you or ONLY your group can go in and would be alone in the dungeon? Or is it only restricted by anyone that actually does the quests can be shuttled up and all would share the dungeon at that point??
There is a big differense between the two types.. please clarify this for us

The dungeon has limited instances created so that only you and your group will be in a private copy of the dungeon at a time. Multiple groups can be enjoying the adventure simultaneously but each group will have their own copy and not impede upon each other.

This is a great thing!

Has anyone tested creatures yet? Can they be called/grouped/degrouped, etc?

TH, is there any chance please of deleting posts in this thread (and other ones on this forum) that clearly don't give any testing feedback and just ask for info or make random comments on something hey have read here and know nothing about?

I thought the whole point of threads like this was to get all the issues in one place and you clearly ask for input at the beggining of the thread but having just read pages of replies it seems hardly any of these posts are anything to do with testing at all.

Okay, here is my testing input albeit it short.

I spoke to the Tyrenian Rebel who gave me the lowdown and the only thing I would say is that it would be nice to get some sort of waypoint(s) to remind you where you need to be going. Also an idea if this is a players level would be nice I guess to save them form travelling to quite far planets only to find they have no hope of ever doing that part of the mission.

I'd just like to add that having now read every single post in this thread there are about 5, yes FIVE posts that meet the criteria of giving feedback.

I have nothing against people being excitied and wanting info but you huys (the devs) made these extra forums and did away with the others for a particular reason and that was because you were having trouble sorting out the informative stuff from all the general posts. It weas your decision to split these forums as they are now and in your threads and signatures you slearly ask for on topic posts yet you let a 9 page thread form with no interaction from yourselves.

I just don't understand why you say one thing and do something completley different.

So now we'll have nine adventures, 3 Imperial, 3 Rebel and 3 Neutral that have to be completed before being "shuttled" to the dungeon.

Clarify this please, becuase the first time I looked at it I understood it to be that each person had to complete these "9 adventures."

Gotcha. Good point - - nine different paths.

3 potential paths for Imperials, 3 for rebels and three for neutrals - - not 9 total.

Ok, here's the million dollar question(s).

1 - Does everyone in the group have to complete the quest prior, or can one person in the group do the preliminary quests and the entire group is warped with them (minor issue really, but it would affect whether or not another player could join up with the group after the first part of the preliminary quests are don).

2 - Can a Rebel, an Imperial, and a Neutral group together and complete the dungeon?

Come on, please? I even asked nice!

Bugs, Issues, etc. With Corellian Corvette - Imperial Mission

as of 03/02/2004 4am CST.

In Testing - (not general discussion. bleh) - wish these forums were heavily moderated like you said they were going to be. I've started a thread on the Test Center (non-offical) boards so we can actually work on this...

All are posted as it seemed to us. Would enjoy chatting with someone developing the Cruiser so we can sort out some of the bugs.

1) a) The only person that can see the screens to adjust the numbers on the engines, etc. is the first to click on one. Should this person be a blithering idiot, you will never finish the cruiser. Most game breaking for people wanting to defeat it personally without another trip to the butt end of Dantooine or Dathomir (difficult to do on Test Center as no shuttleports out there.)

a) sub 1) Difficult to assist the person with the screens as I don't know what they look like to help try and solve the puzzle. the puzzle really falls on 1 person's shoulders.

a) sub 2) Dra'ak got the solution fine on my ticket and got a "mission complete." but I didn't get the message and the npcs on ground think I've already completed the stuff to get my ticket. I think I can redo it, but not well documented and the Knowledge Base is not a help while the Corvette is on Test. Confusing and frustrating

b) With only one person able to effect the cruiser's controls, the others are quite bored and begging to eject while you figure out the solution. One ADD group member can eject you and you're all screwed. (Leads to 2)

2) As Dra'ak learned, the Escape Pod Controls can easily eject you and it isn't readily apparant that they will do so. This could mean a second run to the other end of Dathomir for another shot at it. One A.D.D. group member could waste everyone's time.

3) Keypads don't unlock certain doors. Some Doors open without using their Keypad. Unsure which are bugged and which are intended.

a) The upper Port (left) room to the stern (front) does not unlock no matter WHAT keycode you enter. Shouldn't this be the Officer's Quarters, Port code? This was replicated on 3 seperate instances of the Corvette. I know this is port as the engines are aft of me, and the bridge is astern of me.

b) The lower extreme stern suffers the same issue. It is a rectangular horizontal room. We tried all codes from all instances. We even tried the error code from the Gold Screen of Doom in the engine room. This leads to issue 4b.

4) Loot and locker issues

a) There is only one decent loot item available at current. The first time up, dra'ak ejected before taking it. The second time was a group of 5 and I got the Rebel SpaceMarine Chestplate. Third time was on my ticket and Dra'ak got it. Means in 2 trips up, Krose got very little.

b) It is possible that there is more. There is one "locker" accessible, but locked. (lower small round room.) Wee cannot get it to open. There is another locker in the room inaccessible through difficulty 3b. Both lockers are "Contents: 1/20" and look like the Tech Armoire.

5) All keypaded doors not mentioned in 3 are unlocked without using the keypad, but we get a lot of codes to open them. You can often waltz in without playing with the keypad at all.

6) Even a group of 3 novice elites WALKED through the cruiser for the Imperials. I don't see why Lord Vader insists on using so many stormtroopers for boarding actions. We slaughtered the Rebel scum easily.

Dra'ak was even KD dizzying them so they'd last long enough for me to get an FP or 2 off of them. The highest level Rebel MOB is a Surface Marshal and 1 general. A little easy for a TKM/mBrawler, a Commando and a Nov. Pistoleer/1111CM (me.) With average buffs I never got to heal ANYONE on either of my 2 trips. This may be adjusted in the combat pass.

7) (and this one burns my biscuits!) Escape Pod bug dropped me into direct fire of Rebel Tower turrets on TATOOINE, when I took off from the Emperor's retreat, Naboo. You must be overt to do this quest. No biggie. A covert member wouldn't storm a spaceship. It's only an issue if dropped on the wrong spot. I think I'm going to have that pilot court-martialled for endangering me so.

a) Dra'ak's accidental escape pod deployment put him on Naboo.

b)The 1st escape pod deployment, I was dropped on Naboo where we took off from. No issue.

c)The second escape pod usage, Krose & Dra'ak were dropped outside the Emperor's Retreat. I landed 30 meters from a Rebel Large Tower turret in the Arch Mesa of Skystone, Tattooine and loaded into "you have been slain by a large tower turret." MOST AGGRAVATING. Especially since I was cloned on Naboo.

8) Not a bug, but an issue. If you aren't a strong combat class you can't solo it, but if grouped, the rest of the group gets ancy and does all your droid repairing and hyperdrive charging for you and you end up very bored. I wanted to experience MORE of this mission, but everyone was already repairing the droids and whatnot to get through it and I felt very left behind as I didn't get to experience these things. Maybe a consent suystem or something so that the person using the ticket to shuttle gets to experience the dungeon they ran across the galaxy for the ticket to?

9) Things we haven't tested but want to know:

a) If you die, do you clone on Dathomir (the planetary map while on cruiser shows Dath landscape.) or do you pop up in the Emperor's Retreat?\

b) should your clone be bound on Dathomir, Naboo, or Tat (so you don't take a hit to condition when the turret kills you. I jest because I know this is a bug.)

c) What happens when you create a new waypoint while is space? Just a silly thing we tried to make sure it wouldn't crash anything. Nothing appears to have gone wrong.

It's a great concept so far, but nowhere close to ready for release. Glad we're getting to test it, as it still needs work.

Rogue, Th, or Runesabre, I'd love a PM, email or an In-game mail or tell (TestCenter.Rosaline) to help work on this. I know through persistence I helped the "Pets can't leave the 1st room of GeoLab issue" and I want to get the cruiser working RIGHT! Hope this listing of issues helps.

Please, Live players don't respond with "OMG, it's still broken. Stupid Game." Or "Fix BH droids!"

I'm trying to get this tested and working right for you, so help me by not posting non-bugs posts in this thread.

Didn't think it would be long before someone 1 starred my post.

By all mean continue if you prefer that the devs actually spend more time reading through a 9 page thread that mostly contains no useful feedback to their question and less time actually making the content better based on feedback they have asked for.

Why am I even bothering to help out here.

The logic of some people here defies believe.
