Would it have really been so inconvenient to inform players about the 1-3 day wait 24 hours ago TH? Would it have cost you your job to let the people know what you were going to do to them? Did no one on your staff care about the players who looked forward to today with much anticipation and called off from work/school in order to do something they have been working possibly a year for? Heartless. Cruel. Dishonest.
I am going to put this one up again. Because it speaks the thruth.
I will only say this ThunderHeart you knew all of us would be on today in hope to find out what will happen.
I hope SOE does not do this when JUMP TO LIGHTSPEED comes out does not pull this BS

The rules, as PUBLISHED, apparently have changed again with no notice or discussion.
I quote from the Jedi ARCHIVES Vol. 3:
If I complete the Force Sensitive quests after publish 10 and open up my Jedi slot, will my main slot or my second slot be Force Sensitive?
After Publish 10, "Trials of the Jedi", a player's Main Slot will become Force Sensitive. At this point, a second character slot will open up. You may choose to develop your main character as a Jedi Knight or you may use your second character slot to develop as a Jedi Knight (thus being able to leave your main character in tact), but you will have to complete the quests from the beginning with the second character.

Now we get from TH:
When you become Padawan, you will be given your Jedi robe and your additional character slot will open up. This character can be used in any way you see fit, including developing him into another Jedi.
There is a MAJOR CHANGE HERE. I do not want my main character to become a Jedi. I just want to open the slot and run the new guy through the trails again. My main character has over a YEAR of development behind him. When the rest of the holo-grinders were basically doing everything possible to kill this game I was developing communities of people to have a strong playerbase on Tempest. Are you now telling me I can only have a second slot IF I destroy everything my crafter is and become a Padawan?

understandable, i've been pretty mature with you so I don't see a reason to bust out the smarta$$ cards... first of all, THIS ISN'T TYPICAL, what you are reading is for later on down the road when people aren't flooding the gates. Basically it goes down like this... a farmer (don't ask...LOL) has been raising cattle since birth, once they hit 3 years old, he must transfer them into a new, larger area so they don't overpack the younger cattles stable...unfortunately this larger area is under contruction for 3 yrs... leaving a built up amount of cattle (some 6 yr olds, and some 3 yr olds), and if you can't clarify who's what then just don't bother posting anymore. All of a sudden the large stable is fixed, not only does the farmer have all the 6, 5, 4 yr olds, but he has all the 3 yr olds too. We are catagorized by how many silents we've done/have left, this is the truth and if you chose to misreadand lying to yourlself to shine some light, go ahead, I'm done with this post.

You have to break it down.If you have under 30 professions mastered, chances are it can be over a week before the old man see's you. Yes, 1 week. If you have done maybe 1 holo profession, it can be MUCH longer. Just because you are glowy DOES NOT mean the old man will see you in 1-3 days. THAT IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO ALREADY GOT THE UNLOCK MESSAGE AND PEOPLE WITH 1 HOLOPROFESSION REMAINING. Read the TH's responses and you will see that. Do not believe the false words that people are giving you that did not read what was posted. Sorry, but its not your fault. The devs are limiting the village for people due to hardware issues that SHOULD NOT concern the players, because a situation like that should NEVER have arisen. Very sorry if this is not what you wish to hear, but welcome to the past year of SWG.I repeat. Just because you are Glowy and the force is with you, does not mean old man in 1-3 days. Dont get false expectations from the devs again.
You idiot. Go read it again.

what if you unlocked pre-9, but you want to make your first char FS, does this all apply to that char also?

im not a dev so my answer may not be perfect but im fairly certain i have read and understood everything correctly.
IF You are glowy, you will get your visit in 1-3 days.
IF You are not glowy BUT You did 3 or more holo-professions, you will get a visit according to the group timetable
IF You are not glowy AND you did 2 or less holo-professions, get a move on and get glowy!
FWIW it is speculated glowyness is related to holding certain badges, but nobody knows for sure.
Bless you for putting it so well - please folks read this closely!!

I started with a strong sensation of the force today (20 profs, 45 loc badges, warren, imp themepark, 3of4 hero of tat badges,
nyms badge, vacca - about 80-85 total badges) - managed to do the corvette destroy mission today and now i am glowing.
I think u need to be glowing to get a visit.
have fun

Funny how people believe that the larger font you choose the greater chance you have for some dev to read it and respond. You probably have a better chance of seeing the "Old Man" right now.
Try to spell correctly anduse sentence structure. That way, if a Dev doesn't answer, at least you won't look stupid to the rest of the folks who are in the same frustrating boat as yourself.

Problem/Issue:
Waypoints from Whip don't despawn after you fail to complete the missions like they should. The systemdon't despawn the waypoints either after you complete the missions. You have to manually delete the waypoints from the mission. This is taking place on the Lowca Server.
Whip is the NPC Mission-giver from the village. Hehelps you unlock the Enhanced Reflex(Basic Force Sensitive Tree ).
