I need some clarification TH on two things:

1. Does glowy mean you have auto qualified for entrance into the Village?
2. In your "The Path of the Jedi: Reckoning of Effort" thread you said that credit would be issued for "holo-professions" does that mean Holocron only communicated professions? Or does it mean the 7-8 silent masteries you were referring to?

I appriciate a answer please, thanks! Also any feedback from fellow players is cool too

to the best of my knowledge, here are your answers

1) yes you are qualified for a visit from old man to get into village

2) the credit refers to both silent & holo told professions.

example, my holos were Entertainer, Architect, Smuggler, & Creature Handler. I did the first 3, not the fourth. As such I have 5 to go, and so i get 1 unlock.

had I done CH, i would get 2 unlocks (4 to go) after that i would have to do silent professions. Had i hit one of my silents, id get 3 unlocks, etc etc.

I also mastered Artisan & Merchant. these were not my silent professions, hence i get nothing for them.

I hope that helps clear things up.

TH... you havebeen telling us that people who unlocked between pub 9 and 10 that they have wait 1-3 days for the old man to visit. Then those in the groups below them have to wait till a portion of the inital group finishes the quests and such. So are we looking at a week until the Old man visits the next group?

If this is the case... that means those in the last group will miss out on the first phase of the Village quests. This will mean they will have to wait till the first phase cycles around again.

This is an unreasonable amount of gating for your loyal customers. We have put up with alot in this game and if it wasn't for the "Star Wars" title I doubt there would be a game at all. We stick around becasue we are promised imporvements and content. But when you finally add the improvements and content and then tell us (in a very vauge manner) that we may have to wait weeks... even months to enjoy it... its going to make people bitter. And rightly so too.

Np man, it's actually in the "path of the jedi" posts TH made, goes a little somthing like this:

crap, unable to copy and paste but here goes

If you have: You will be granted access to the village:

No prof remaining: automatically

1 prof remaining:automatically

2 prof remaining: group 1

3 prof remaining: group 2

4 prof remaining: group 3

5 prof remaining: group 4

Meaning somebody who's grinded 26 profs who has only 6 profs left, he could have 4 that are still not done (thats one unlucky SOB), but it's very possible and I wouldn't put it past SOE

first i can't use over 512 mb of memory with the game properly, and now i have to wait for jedi...when did Star Wars go so tragically wrong? WHEN?!

All i can say is i done my holocron's and did 15 other skills, And if i don't get the old man visit in the three days i will probly just close my account's because i am tired of waiting, Plus now they say you have to go all the way to padawan to open the extra slot..... I think this game is a lot of hurry up and wait. Its a good game don't get me wrong but the way they handle things is wrong.... I logged into the game and checked my force status and was glowing from the start and yet to see a old man. But i will wait a few days to see what happens.... Not everyone one want to go Jedi, I just wanna make the guy i have better by adding a few of the combat type box's..... Its just like last Tuesday when Pub 10 was suppose to come in, They held it over for this lol, Thats just wrong they could have done this crap in a live server....

P.S. Don't make us wait, we have waited long enough.....

hey, how close is World of Warcraft to being done? Oh that's right SWG will release Jump To Lightspeed premature, so we shell out money for that, and probably wait a few weeks to get a spaceship off the ground...but we won't be giving our money to Blizzard, and that's what counts I guess.

You screewed us over with the jedi thing and then stopped anyone else getting jedi till after pub-10 just so you could screew us over like this !!!!!!!!!! Well TH said that people would be gated depending on professions mastered, are both true ? What I am saying is glowy mean your next in line for the Village?

Also if you read TH's post in context, he was talk.ing about the old system, and then the new system in which the gating System is concerned.

He said that "holo-professions" were the ones that mattered, he didn't say silent holos. Just a observation
