Just one question.

Will sabers still do kinetic damage?

There is no mention of the saber damage type in this at all.

Dont know. We're working to see whats possible.

how about adjusting it depending on what components are in use?

Thats a really great mechanic. I'll see if its possible given the code restraints....

At the risk of sounding like a fanbois, this sounds very cool. Perhaps my loss faith given the stat migration change can be restored.

TH,

How do you see BH's interacting with JEdi once they gain access to the Enclaves?

These will effectively act as "safe areas" for them, plus the fact that they will have several Jedi friends to call upon to help them against a hunting BH.

Are BH now only effective between Padawan and Pre PvP Jedi Knight? Will the Jedi still lose SKill Boxes/XP so that they can lose there access to the Enclaves?

Nope, having different damage types based on the components is not the way to fix this.

I would much rather wait longer for the revamp, and have it done right, with a unique, almost irresistable damage type.

Add a cortosis weave segment to the game that can be added to player armor.

Th,

A number of people have posted that their initial character was selected as not being the one that would be their jedi character or else they would have selected a different race.

It would be nice if you would take up with the devsthe idea that a person could opt at the point they unlock the second slot to choose which character would become force sensitive.

I've completed 23 proffesions and had no plans to finish the last nine, but i guess ill get back to grinding now .

hope that gives you enough of a hint!

Oh, and made lightsabers able to do something in PvP because the whole advancment system is based on it. (Ie, ap 3, and a new (or different) damage type.)

How about this TH? Jedi only missions to kill NPCs and only those NPCs drop crystals. Leave the Pearl market as it is, and let that level of NPC determine the tuning ability of the crystal. This really does solve many of the problems (excluding damage type, which kinetic + perma-overt I don't think works for PvP).

Also, is it possible to have the force power damage types reworked too? Kinetic Force Lightning really doesn't do jedi any justice.

Sorry - not possible at this time, but the devs are looking at some interesting solutions

I like the component situation changing the LS damage type. Maybe have crystal stats have a dmg type that is unique to that crystal. I don't think it should have stun but maybe have the capability to have kinetic/heat/energy as dmg types. Then players could change out the crystals as needed for the dmg type that is best suited for the situation.

I really really hope you guys take care of the pearls and crystal availability problem. I for one do not think these components should be lootable by anyone but Jedi themselves. Just like lightsabers are non tradeable items so should the components be. These components are not in this game to make campers rich, they are for us Jedi to level and use. Currently we Jedi are taking it up the rear in prices from non jedi players that dont understand how long it takes to make 6-10 million credits.

TH, I hope this problem is take care off for petes sake

As a doctor and Force lover I haver to say this is sweet Not sure what all will be included from the books / stories, but it should be well worth it to get the second slot and have a character thats sensative without being a Force junkie.. err Jedi.

On the other hand I also love the concept of 'earning' the second slot and doing it in an immersive / qeust based system rather then the hellashious hologrinding we're seeing now. Holo grinding has about killed most of the fun out of some professions (just look at what happened to the entertainment industry once the 'path to jedi' was revieled).

Anyhoo, I'm looking forward to it! Sounds like things are going to be more fun and closer to how things went for characters in the later stories.... now... where's Yoda in all this?
