Doctor's alone cannot make the point blank area cure packs.Do you remember a while back whenthe devs took away master medics ability to make dispersal mechanisms and gave it solely to the CM's? Well guess what, dispersal mechanisms are needed to make the point blank cures.

Hey great job there DEVs. I am quite certain that there will be CM's lining up to sell dispersal units to doctors so that they can craft items to help limit the CM's combat role. WOW. I bet you guys really really thought this one through. I can tell as developers that you really do have a complete and total understanding of every facet not only of this game but of the human psyche as well

YES our armor had lower encumbrance than composite.... WHY you ask?

well for one, our armor is only 4 pieces. even at 4 pieces we couldnt put on a full suit unbuffed (with maxed secondaries at cap of 550 or whatever)

secondly, our armor is made of HIDE... and WOOD... both are lightweight materials and both are a pain in the you know what to get.

that's the tradeoff. our armor resources are painfully difficult to aquire (ESPECIALLY resources with decent quality) and as far as i know, they dont use much, if any, metal.

2. Huh? Composite AND ubese also require Hide, just like the wookiee armors do... and wood is just as easy to get as any other resource. You can use harvestors to gather it, and it's no more or less rare than any of the other resources needed to make high-end armor. The wookiee armors are no more difficult to make than Ubese or Composite.

as for the buffing to put armor on, my point is that our 4 pieces which dont cover full body shouldnt be as heavy as 9 pieces of metallic composite.


ok, pretty much all of the resources used in hunting armor are NAMED hides bones and woods. that reduces quality drastically and no the organics arent very easy to come by in large quantities.

I can only put on my Composite Chest Plate, Pants, Helmet and Gloves before I have to buff.


Composite also requires mostly named resources (including named hide)... and no, wood is NOT hard to come by in large quantities. It can be harvested by harvestors like any other flora. You survey for it, find it, and drop some harvs on it. Just like all the other easy to find stuff.

you just proved my damn point, you put on the equivilent of wookiee hunting armor without needing buffs. chest/helm/pants/arms. and you play a bothan? how is it that a bothan seems to have more strength than a wookiee? besides, i said organics meaning hides not wood.




I think I'd have to add bracers to get equivalent protection. And I also just realized that I can't even get the helmet on without buffing my mind somehow. comp helmets are NASTY on the Mind HAMs (mine's around 300 mind just for the helmet).


In short: EVERYONE has to buff to wear the best armor.


Wood is organic, so I assumed when you said organics you also meant wood. If you just meant the hide, you STILL have no point because ALL high-end armor requires named hide to make, not just the wook armor. Besides, it's not hard to get either. I can gather 15k of hide in less than an hour of hunting, and I only have Hunting 1.

Because I can't deposit anything more then 99.999.999 credits anymore in my account. It goes higher then 100mil if someone buys something from my vendor but not when I try to deposit some cash, then it's maxed at 99.999.999.


So I'm running around with lot's of cash, I hope I don't get robbed !!!

A couple of points/questions about the decreased Starport times. Why was this added now as opposed to the plan of increasing or decreasing pertaining to the GCW? The Starport thing has been an issue for nigh on a year now, if i am not mistaken. Now, I may come off as a conspiracy theorist, but it seems with the outcry you caused Friday with the Merchant item cap, you decided to throw us a bone.


Lately it seems that everytime you gents(and ladies, who knows?) at SOE screw the pooch, or cause some manner of charlie foxtrot, you throw us a bone. CB is renamed and pushed back to an early Christmas present...hell, let's finally give the NPCs some fangs. Players are outraged about the delay in the screwed up ground game...let's grind CM's into dust, FINALLY. Players are screaming over the overt tampering with the economy by markedly lowering vendor capacities....let's FINALLY drop those starport times.


You sit and cry about suspending continuity for "Funs Sake"(tm SOE), yet we as a player base have been BEGGING for decreased shuttle times for how long now? We have been saying that CM's are way overpowered and have been dominating the ground game forever. These all seem like classic misdirections in a desperate attempt to hold onto players who are still here and to try and lure back those who recently quit.


You would probably say G, that I hate this game. You could not be further from the truth. I love this game, the SW universe and someof the people I have met here in the one year's plus time. I see things like this as trying to save the sinking ship. Many call me a Fanboi for saying I will be here until they shut off the servers. This is my plan, for better or worse. I love what I see as great potential, and it PAINS me when you guys screw up.


It is obvious that the only way to get the attention of all of you at SOE is by players quitting. I don't want to quit this game, but you all do try my patience with your hair brained missteps that most people with any degree of logical reasoning can see are mistakes. The player base tries to voice their opinions, and we get decried as the vocal minority who HATE the game, and that those who are not posting are too busy playing. Hey, guess what, I do both.


My positive feedback is this, I LOVE the decrease in Starport times. You guys are FINALLY starting to get things RIGHT. Keep this up, and when JTL comes out, you will have many happy players who decided to stick things out. Two thumbs way up on this long overdue move.

The starport time decrease is DEFINETLY one of your better changes Devs. Good call on that one.

The poison & disease resistance buffs for Doctors was a nice touch too.

thanks for making CM's completly useless...Guys..Balance dont mean overpowering one thing to underpower another..can we reach a middle ground here? Considering dots were the only thing that made uber jedi USE force while they ran around and killed everyone in sight (for xp, nice Non-griefing policy..lets MAKE them grief people) Now you made them immune to that as well..


The spaceport wait was a sliver of good in just another down and up on the rollercoaster of "ballance" in this game

CM's were not meant to be a combat profession. The name is exactly what they were supposed to be, a healer on the field of combat. Hence the area stims, terrain negotiation, burst run efficiency, and mind heal abilities. The poison and disease was meant to be a means of holding off your foes so that you can tend to your healing since you lack fighting skills.


CM was misused as a combat profession. However, I believe that since CM is now used the way that it is the nerfing seems kind of senseless. You cannot let players get comfortable with a playing style with their chosen profession then take it away from them. This fix should have happened earlier or not at all.
