Went to the Deathwatch bunker, fully buffed, found a group of 14, went in, got to the third room and stopped.... What surprised me was that it only took a group of 4 people though to hold that third room until others got there... Then I switched from that group to a group of 20, got past the third room and started getting spammed by Battle Droids and Super Battle Droids, all hell broke loose and we scattered. Next time, (whole group fully buffed) we came back with 2 Full groups (40 people) coordinating. Made it to the same spot, and got smoked again.

My thoughts on the Deathwatch bunker are as thus....

Spawn Times on the Super Battle Droids and Battle Droids are a bit too high, should not be fighting a super battle droid and have 2 or 3 more pop in

For the difficulty of the dungeon more loot should drop... spent about 5 hours there and the only loot I got was an Alum Mine Gel Pack looted of one of those R3 Units in the third room

Make the door system closer to that of the Geonosian Bunker... With keycards etc.. and Let Smugglers slice (we are useless otherwise down there)

Thats my thoughts for now....

As an add-on to my post (which I can't edit because it's in Live [**edit**ing stupid]):

My guild groupted together a small group of people and we went into teh Death Watch Bunker (totally deserted except for those **edit**heads who aggro everything, dump it on anothe rgourp, and run through all in the clear) and we got well past the firstdoor (key loot door). In fact we had 4 different people drag the spawns form 3 different rooms and we still made it. We got to an infirmary type room with an NPC surgical droid (thought maybe we could buff because its a HOSPITAL, but nope) and none of us could talk to him so we moved on. AFter clearing yet another room of NPCs I noticed I was still fighting and saw a HAM bar with a red dot lit up WAAAAYY in the distance. About 2 mintues later as we rested (3 group members had died and lost their buffs) that HAM bar reappeared at the door with 4 others- all SUper Battle Droids. At this point I decided I was done, CoBed and ran my ass as far into the bunker as possible. So, while it IS impossible for one gorup to clear a path to the first room, a single group can make it's way on from there, until we see our beloved super battle droids again .

P.S. I saw two jedi Guardians have to retreat from 2 SbDs, and if Image Dump didn't think my image was too large a file you could all see it.

ok heres my 2 credits worth:
i enjoy almost every aspect of the game. the crafting is fun, the quests are ok but the fighting is crap. I know that games are different than the movies but there the droids were downed with a few hits. These SBDs are insane. Plus they regen waay to fast. I went in with a full party of 20 and we didn't get past the 2nd room past the locked door. We were able to kill 2 of the 10 SBDs, a couple of the battle droids and most of the humans. But seriously. they want this to be hard and made it impossible. Hard to me was pre-AIpatch corvette. Tough, but workable if you know it well. I can accept something a bit harder. Something that requires 5-10 people groups. Groups of over 20 strong people plus docs and crafters is insane. I think the gen rates should be toned down or less SBDs.

i was one of the first few there this morning on kauri and there was no lag.acouple of us killed some black suns and bd's near the entrance for awhile. i looted a pistol schem on like my first kill. nothing else was looted by my group of 2 tho. wemade it into the first room and beyond a bit, butthen the sbd came and no one outside would help with it. it killed a couple of players and then it went aggro on me. you cant burst run away from them, which really sucks. i think people wouldn't help because the less the better if you know what i mean. at least that's people's attitudes when they come to a place like this. i'm really glad that most people can't last long here. i can (with some good tankers) and i don'tlike crowds. i also love any content that is geared towards myprofession, Bounty Hunter!Go die, to all you who whine about being outdamaged by us. We deserve this. any bh who can't hang at the dwb needs to go back tobh school.Tankers, If you need some damage dealers, look upsome good bh's because we are essential to this place. it's like the corvette; get an organized group. that means people doing their job. if i can be covered by a tank, i can do endless specials with no armor and my ham never goes down. those sbd's go down reasonably fast that way, but i'd have to agree that they are out of place here, AND the most overpowered npc in the game. lose them unless a csr raid comes to town again.

i will be going back to this place until i get more loot to satisfy me. a mando chest plate and bracers is what i want, maybe a helmet and a jetpack. the rest of you lower class citizens stay home, or come ready to do some teamwork for possibly little reward. hey, it's a tough galaxy. thanks devs.

Rao hit an important question: does the DWB represent the direction of the game?

If it's not, if it's an extreme exception for the truly hardcore gamers, then I'm delighted with it. Let them hurl themselves against legions of SBDs and trick out the perfect character template. I hope they get their Boba suits, they'll have earned them! And when SOE spices their SWG promo videos with shots of Wookiees and Jedi, neither in composite, fighting with Death Watch commandos and not insta-dying under SBD fire, I'll just wink and say oh yes, happens all the time.

That's assuming that SOE has been developing other content to keep the rest of us around. The new Force quests sound very promising, especially for anyone who doesn't read the "How to complete the Force quests AFK in 4 hours" guides that will crop up.

But if this is SOE's model for all ongoing combat content, then feh. I could be banging my head against a perfectly good wall.

i believe that this may be the way the game is going. The corvette started the SBD craze. Then they infiltrated it with tons more (note the "closet" with more SBDs then physically possible). Now the DWB has them. i think this is their idea of making things hard. "lets throw in SBDs"

Me and all the people that still play this game on my friends list couldn't possibly start to crack this dungeon. Even being a master TK with a great buff, all kinds of different foods to help me out, great armor, and more skills stuck in brawler and Swordsman, what a joke. I refuse to play this kind of crap. I refuse to cater to your idea that I should have to group with 20 other people who I don't know or trust, even if they were in my own guild, to make this dungeon doable. From what I saw it takes several groups just to distract all the things spawning at the top and chasing people out of the dungeon. Its going to be no time at all before there won't be enough critical mass in players to even get inside. Adding "content" that only the most elite of professions, through uber skill tapes, profession stacking, l33t legendary weapons, buffs, food and a group of 60 to play meat shield for you is not fun.

I don't care if this is an MMO. Your continuing policies of forcing me into playing this game in a group perspective or forcing me more and more into your horrid idea of PvP and galactic war and all the rediculous implications that you like to force on everyone as a result of it make me not want to have anything to do with this game. Content that I can't participate in unless I fall in line with your ideals is no content at all. This holds true for the large portion of people who used to play this game and who are continuing to leave. You can't even throw solo people a bone by making a dungeon they can get into part of the way, so they can experience some of it too. I mean, making the whole thing so rediculous that I don't get to experience any of it without being in the 1% of people who spend their every waking moment on finding what is required to be able to take part in the "depth" of this game makes it not worth trying. This is another case where trying is not worth the effort. From what I understand the rewards are horrible, I know first hand that from the time I spent trying to kill things and getting no loot rights, no loot, and no further in the dumb dungeon I won't be back.

This is just another reason why this game is going downhill for a good portion of players. If your great plan for adding content to the game is to reward the rich uber player by only giving him the chance at participating in these new dungeons and then toning down the difficulty level once even more new uber content has been added. Then your encouraging a rich get richer philosphy of the game. A philosphy where only the most powerful can possibly succeed and they are rewarded with even more powerful things that can be sold for more or used to make them more powerful, by the time the rest of us can participate in the dungeon, the loots are worth far less, the weapons and armor have been "balanced" and we are left with basically nothing worth exploring for. Way to make new content.

I thought that, seeing as how your marketing pushed this as living the greatest saga ever told, your own, that I might be able to live it the way I chose. I can see now that this is not the case. All the cool adventure stories I read before launch and every post release publish have all turned into more pompand publicity, which whenbrought to life, has either changed so much it is unrecognizable or fallsfar short of what the gamer is longing for, dispite testing and feedback from players andyour own internal discussions.

Hardly any of us will argue that difficult content needs to exist for large groups, guilds or the uber individuals to test themselves on. The rest of us would like some consideration though in the meantime. The ones whose guild has quit playing, whose friends gave up grinding when it became clear that the grind was all the game had to offer. So far the new Jedi system and the JTL expansion are just more of the same, ways to frustrate players who have been waiting and waiting, hoping for the game to turn the corner. It has turned the corner, and if this new bunker is typical of what we wil continue to see in the future, I'd say the corner turns downhill into an abyss of player dissatiisfaction. Read it in this thread. You apparently aren't listening.

One other thing I have to say to the devs:

You say your game appeals to all levels of gamers yet with each new content publish all you do is boost the armor and resistances of the MOBS and drop them in a different backdrop. This would work in a level based game, but not one in which such as this where progressing beyond the master of your skill means getting the latest "u3er 1337" weapon or armor suit. In driving the game like this you are driving outth ecasual gamer. I see people who bid 8 million credits for the latest exceptional LVA with 800 damage mind poison tick that they AFK farmed off of the NS queen, and hell I have never seen more than 500K my entire time in this game (since 1 day after release). Also, with the combat balance coming and the composite armor nerf with it HOW THE HELL DO WE LAST IN A DUNGEON WHERE COMPOSITE ARMOR IS OUR ONLY PROTECTION? All your promo videos show players in flashy outfits happily running around the corvette in firefights when in reality they would take one hit and fall dead on the deck without the armor you are about to nerf. ARE YOU ALL MISSING ONE SIDE OF YOUR BRAIN? You give us content (DW Bunker) that is EXTREMELY hard (not impossible, my group did very well for a while but only got to the 6th room, nowhere near any of the supposed content) that is NOT POSSIBLE without 70% (at LEAST) bas ecomposite armor, then say you will nerf the armor? GET YOURSELVES STRAIGHTENED OUT!

nice SWING and a MISS

I was in a nice group, everyone was master everything they wanted, this is an experanced group usinf TS to talk to each other so no typing. We had a groupof 17 people.

My armor is 80% bace and i have a 1200 LLC,

We have 3 combat medics and 3 docs with us healing,7 melee people and guess what

WE WERE OWNED!

not only did i lose all my armor from damage we can not even get past the sec pass door.

I understand that you wanted to make a group only hunt spot but u need a group of 4-4-4-4 jedi to get anywhare in there. BY the time we kill the 3 SBD on our group 2 more spawn.

I think if you turn down the respawn to lets say 12 mins and take about 40% of the SBD out of there u have a good Bunker. I hope you get this stright

This Dungeon is way too easy...

Please add more Super battle droids.

Also add a force field that keeps out whiners and cry babies and noobies out!

I have been giving this some thought since I calmed down and I would say it might be possible to accomplish this dungeon as it exist. Carful planning will be essential, because success will all be in the details. I will explain my thinking....

First off 20 person group goes without saying. I would suggest making an accord with another 20 person group bringing your total up to 40 people working toward a single goal.

Second, bring only 2 crafter...1 for each group. Focus on what will be created for that run. If you want helmets, bracers and whatever then bring Master Droid Engineers. Next you want an equal mix of melee and ranged combat personel. Given their defensive bonuses, I would recommend going heavy on the melee side with fencers.

3rd, you want atleast 3 doctors for each group assisted by 2 combat medics also for each group. Make sure they have atleast a crate of Buffs and rez packs apiece. Make sure the combat medic has a crate of his needed items.

4th, everyone buy a tanking combat droid (Isuggest 2 per person) and 2 auto droid healing droids per group.

5th Make sure you have any Bounty Hunters in your group get atleast 2 crates of the Bomb Droids.

6th Make sure that you everyone has a crate of Muon, Brandy, Flameout, Deneelia Fizz, Cavaellian Creams and Parwan Nutricake that has been Bio-Enhanced to the best stats you can get.

7th Make sure everyone has the best comp armor available.(If this means running money missions for 2 days..do it.) Realise that this armor is a throw away suit.

8th Make sure that you buy a new copy of your weapon of choice. Also to be viewed as a throw away on this mission. Purchase several crates of power-ups for the type of weapon you have. Slice for Dmg.(You would need to purchase multi-copies of the weapons and keep slicing till you get one in the 30% range)

9th Make sure that an Master Creature Handlers have an extra copy of the Highest ham pets you can get. (Also to be seen as throw away) These pets would be viewed as organic throw-aways in the fact that if they are viewed as expendable for the duration of the mission.

10th Any commando's need atleast a crate of each of thier most powerful limited use weapons (Rocket Launchers,Heavy Lighting cannon)

Everyone must realise that the objective is to move forward, not get bogged down. The droids would be used as a diversionary tank wall to keep spawn in a certain area if need be while you move forward to the next room. Hence the need for everyone to have one as you will go through them all by the end of the dungeon.

Bounty Hunters would have a bomb droid out at all times to respond with prior to engaging themselves. Same with Pets in regards to Creature Handlers.

Everyone goes in with the understanding that the people in the group that can actually wear the Mandalorian are the first in the que to have theirs created. For those that cannot wear it, they can have theirs crafted after the afore mentioned. As for those that can't wear it or just don't care, they will be provided 1 item created by the schem loot. (This may require multiply sessions in the bunker, but if a list is kept everyone should eventually have an item from the bunker for themselves.) This includes the new pistol, hack, jetpack. Any non-bunker related items required for crafting the item would be provided by the person desiring that particular item.

Something along this theme could be put together to maximize the time in the dungeon and greatly enhance you chances of making it all the way through. But then again I could be crazy and this is the ranting of a mad man.
